Cons: Lisbon pick up was the worst experience I've had in 35 years is international travel. We waited to be seen an hour and a half with only a handful of renters in line. Then we were told we had to buy their full coverage insurance to be covered although we'd already bought full coverage online at the time of booking. It felt very much like a scam, but what choice do you have when your rental company is telling you the full insurance you bought at booking is not going to cover anything?

Cons: Not getting the car I asked for or similar, I order a mini Fiat, got a larger car, 4 doors and accidented in both sides, hits over the back wheels. Also, made a deposit for "Via Verde" which is in case you pass through those lanes crossing the tolls on the highway, which I didn't, I passed through regular tolls in which I had proof of payment in both of the occasions I passed through tolls. Four(4) days after my arrival I still haven't gotten my reimbursement of €100.

Cons: my deposit with DiscoverCars was not included in the overall rental cost, and after returning the car RecordGo added an additional 125 euros charge to my Visa, for which they have not yet provided a clear explanation; we only incurred 25 euros of toll charges, returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas, and caused no damages to the vehicle, so it remains a mystery despite many emails and phone calls to the company.

Pros: We had a terrible experience with RecordGo. We went the night prior to ask where to drop the keys off since Antonio told us the business next door. The employees that were there that night told us that it was impossible, against company policy and that we were lying that one of RecordGo’s employee said that. We didn’t get a refund for the insurance which we only took to be able to return the car early morning next door. Antonio was a really nice guy just trying to help out with a good idea.

Cons: The other employees that told us we couldn’t return the car like we had been told by Antonio and that they couldn’t do anything for us made RecordGo’s service terrible and we will never do business with DiscoverCar or RecordGo again.

Check in was really bad cause the girl didn’t speak any English and spoke very fast portugués.

Had to get their extra insurance.

I was done in 15 min although the agent was thorough and showed me every (small) imperfection in the car as well as all the controls, and advised me on ViaVerde toll charging. I dropped it off at a very busy time and it still took only 10 min for the agent to thoroughly review the car and process the documentation. It is GREAT that there is a person at the airport to guide those with reservations.

The customer service was good, but I wish The car had been charged since we had to spend a lot of money on gas and would not have reserved an SUV if we had known it was a plug in and that it would be empty.

The car was completely wet when we picked it up. And it was inside a dark building with glaring lights. It was impossible to see all the MANY scratches and scrapes on the black car. But the rental agent assured us that was normal, and they weren't concerned about that. When we returned the car they billed us for a scratch on the bumper.

Cons: Terrible. We got there and they didn't take the credit card I have. They wouldn't budge or allow us to use my partner's card. They wanted us to instead be charged 250 euros to make a new rental when the original rental was about 50 euros.

Cons: I was not informed that the rental car office was not at the airport and i had to call and look for a pick up, same for drop off. I did a rent for Lisbon Airport and not km far from it.

Pros: The attendant who received me at the delivery was very polite and quick in his work. The car was very good.

Cons: The day I went to get the car the attendant was talking to his girlfriend on the phone and left us waiting for about 5 minutes. Work and personal life are not mixed and the client is not left waiting. And when I went to return the car, they charged me 200 euros for a tire that was in very good condition, but unfortunately it had a nail, because during my wanderings in Lisbon the nail probably stayed in the tire causing it to lose air, but a tire repairman would solve the problem and would probab

Pros: They were very honest and didn’t try to force extras upsells on me. It was also a very quick and friendly service.

Cons: When I arrived at the airport, The directions provided to navigate the airport to the Vodaphone boutique were not accurate. I arrived a few minutes after my pickup time and there was no Record-go representative. I had to call record go and they sent someone right away to pick me up.

Pros: Straight forward and relatively efficient

Cons: A little wait at the airport, I had to ring them for pick up

Pros: Once I got to the branch, the agents were very nice.

Cons: The time it took them to pick me up, was promised they would be there in 5min and it took them 45min. The car also had issues.

Pros: No long lines at the time we picked-up the car. Efficient process.

Cons: The fact that the high guarantee they say, can block my Mastercard for up to 30 days !!

Pros: The way they helped me was very fast. And the honesty behind the price and quality. What you see is what you get.
