Cons: The shuttle towards the rental site isn't very organised. Random pick-up by a van that passes like every 20-30 min. Once on location, you need to use an app to get in line for picking up your car. The system isn't transparent (impossible to overview when it is your turn). And priority is given to people who pay extra (24€) to get in a priority-line. With only 2 employees available we waited over an hour before being served.

Cons: SLOW as a snail. From getting to the collection point outside the airport to driving away with our hire car it took 2 1/2 hours plus! This included only a short 5 minute transfer. The staff don’t care less about their customers. 1 hour 15 mins waiting for the mini van collection, we were lucky we got on as many others didn’t and would have faced a longer wait. When at the car rental the wait was another hour just to be seen, and then longer for the car to be ready as 8 cars had to be moved.

Pros: We luckily arrived when there was only one other person waiting, so we were seen quickly and the process was as expected.

Cons: The only thing that was slightly frustrating was the fact the van was still being cleaned when we arrived, so we had to wait about 20 minutes after checking in before we could drive away. Not the end of the world, but unusual.

We also appreciated that when we went to check the car out the second agent walked around the entire car with us and made note of existing damage and the reduced fuel on board which he made a note of for both green motion and us. I would have appreciated if the tank had been completely full, but this was a good second option. When I asked for help setting the car to English help given.

Cons: The insurance portion was unclear. What we thought we were going to pay when we booked. The car online was far less than we ended up having to actually pay. I would appreciate greater transparency.

Cons: Upon arrival to pickup car, we waited for 2 hours and 10 minutes with only 3 guest in front of us. I had a changing time to understand the agent. I was sold additional insurance, although I didn't require it. I didn't understand the insurance clearly after being awake for 23 hours because of flying. Called GreenMotion 2 times and emailed 2 times to cancel and NEVER GOT THE ISSUE RESOLVED.

Cons: Made me pay for young drivers fee. I am 25 and it said on the paperwork drivers under 25. My agent explained this still applies to me at 25 which I don’t agree with. Should change the wording if this is the case.

Cons: I got a new hybrid vehicle. After I left the rental company I figured out where the gas gauge was and noticed that the tank was only half full. I paid full to Full. Also I got the full rental insurance from discover cars. Green motion knew nothing about it and tried to sell me the same insurance. Since they knew nothing about it they also put a 3,000 euro hold on my credit card.

But when we first checked out the car to us, they were more interested in trying to get rid of a message that was coming up on the screen of the car saying that it needed an oil change. They assured me it didn't and the car was fine the whole trip. We never did a walkthrough for the car.

And once I received the final bill, only then were there photos of scratches on the lower half of the car. I assume I am not being held responsible for those because I did not have one accident/dent/scratch on the car while I was driving.

I was given an SUV which is less safe, was smaller and I had to use the back seats to transport luggage and bags for two weeks. Frustrating that the customer plans are so ignored and is basically forced to take a car so different than what was reserved and just make do. Not right.

Cons: I reserved a Peugot 508 station wagon but when I arrived, they said I would receive an equivalent, which is fine, but they gave me a sedan. I needed a station wagon and asked for a Peugot 308 instead as a step down, but to meet my space requirement for my trip. I was still charged for the larger vehicle though I received a smaller one. The price should have been adjusted accordingly.

Cons: At check out they found a way to charge me 150 euros. They found scratches under the car. During check in they checked with me all the parts visible but not under the car. I'm sure I didn't do that damage. I tried to object but they threatened me by telling me that they would take the money from the deposit

The person who answered us to the phone this evening after called the agency and asked about the shuttle, used ugly language and just hang up the phone when we was of the middle of our sentence.

They declined, told me that I had to use their code to reimburse. This was not explained at the start and now I lost money for it

Cons: Unfortunately, as I forgot the pincode of my credit card, I could only use my debit card. Had my own insurance as coverage. Green motion changed the terms in such a way that I could only use their expensive (but good) insurance for some complicated reason. We improvised a deposit, which would have also been possible without their own insurance I believe. That was a pity! But I was happy to be depart finally. Otherwise it’s an ok company. I just paid an insurance 3x the amount of rental!
