Pros: We got different car but happy with it.

Cons: Very long wait for pickup from airport, very long wait at the rental parking area, no return shuttle provided. Excessive charge for questionable wheel mark.

Pros: No Bluetooth, no back passenger window working, no back passenger door locking, dirty inside, no backwards camera working. I have never rented this kind of Lemmon in my life.

Pros: The shuttle driver and the person who took the car back from me were both really friendly.

Cons: I had no difficulties nevertheless the drop off agent was EXTREMELLY careful about the details, very different from the pick up agent. So, be careful at the pick up.

Cons: Small print says that if you're 60 minutes late your reservation will be cancelled. The problem is trying to get a hold of anyone to let them know you are going to be late is impossible. So your reservation gets cancelled, they still bill you the full amount, and you are left with a very expensive new same-day reservation because they cancel your first reservation. Brutal service, brutal response from the reservation car company, and no help provided.

Cons: The pick up instructions were completely incorrect. There was no one to meet us and the name of the company appeared to be ‘Surprice’ not ‘drive 4move’ hence we had no way of identifying our bus. No one picked up phone on number given so had to call discovercars for assistance. Stressful and caused over an hour delay in getting away from airport. Poor information regarding tolls too. No explanation of which lane to use. Fuel was approximately half full, much more tricky judging the refill.

Cons: The pick up was very much too long 40 min + Return staff is ripping you off for extra money. Rude staff at return car I do not recomend the Surprice rental they want to rip you off at the returnes car, try other companies. They still did not refund my money on my credit card

Cons: We renten compact SUV and received Opel Crossland. According to wikipedia, this is a sub-compact SUV. Can't judge others cars, but this specific one was a dissaster. Not only it was old, but the engine had so little power, that you could not accelerate past 60km/h going uphill in a highway. It would also start shaking going faster than 100km/h. The pickup guy at the airport didn't seem to be interested in being recognizable. No company logo on t-shirts or anything.

Cons: I booked a compact SUV and was given a small sedan (Peugeot 208). When I asked about my booked vehicle I was given attitude about them not wanting to send one of their cars from Lisbon to Porto and instead gave us a minivan which I refused since European streets are small and crowded. The lady said the Peugeot 208 is the only other car she would send to Porto. It didn’t look like a fleet vehicle. They chose to keep the higher security deposit even thought we got a smaller car.

Cons: Tried to make us pay for an old scratch. Luckily we took our own pictures when got the car. After a lot of argueing, they finally dropped the claim. Do not trust them and take pictures of every detail when you accept the car.

Cons: Not my best rental experience. The first thing was a very poor customer service by Mrs Diana. I am not from here, her explanation about toll fees on different roads was confusing as hell, I kindly asked again, she was clearly annoyed as I understood her swearing in Portuguese while carrying pretty bad attitude. After I got handed a car which after 3 minutes started popping transmission light, refusing to go uphill. The “help-line” was helpless automated voicemail.

Pros: Was quite straight forward once I got helped. Everyone was helpful and friendly, especially lady serving me on checkout, guy giving me te car and the lady that checked the car back in was extremely friendly and helpful

Cons: They were far and not easy to reach, they charged €5,000 euros to hold on credit card which I never saw such thing in my life, the car i booked wasn't available at all and they told me we do not rent this car and it's Discovercars fault posting cars that were not in their fleet, the car was extremely scratched and damaged which they handed it in as this condition.

Cons: I was expecting to have a deposit for the rental held against my credit card. I was actually charged $2400 Euro ($3700 CDN)which I have to pay the bill for now. I don't expect to see the credit for this before my bill is due. The attendant told me it was up to the financial department to credit the account and hopefully wouldn't be more than a week. I'll update later as to length of time for this.

Pros: I liked to location near the edge of the city. The car was ready for pickup, and the shuttle was efficient. The staff at the airport were very friendly.

Cons: The agent at the rental location seemed very stressed and very helpful. She insisted that the full coverage for which I had pre-paid was not sufficient and I absolutely had to purchase insurance from her. She was very annoyed that I did not purchase and assured me it would be a disaster should there be any damage to the vehicle, which, according to her, was all but guaranteed. The car was fine but I don't think it had been serviced recently.

Cons: I would have liked to return the car earlier in the morning in order to catch my early flight to Canada. But the office did not open until 08:00. That caused us some stress which we'd rather have avoided.

Cons: I booked the car rental with our joint account credit card. My spouse listed as the primary driver. This credit card provides insurance on rental vehicle. At the pick up office- my spouse could not remember his PIN. I offered to pay with my card- the same account- we were told we could not use this card now. We had to use a different card- which did not provide the same coverage and so we had to pay for the insurance. This really increased the rental. This does seem right.

Cons: It would be nice to rent a car that was a little older with some scratches. In Italy we are very comfortable renting a car with a few scratches and dents because you can return the car with scratches and dents up to 3 inches, which seems reasonable. I understand Portugal does not do this.

Pros: 1st car had defective tire that led to the need for car replacement because tire was unsafe- 5 gashes on the tire. we changed our car in Faro and we’re very pleased with the service in Faro and on returning the car to Lisbon.

Pros: The service provided upon pickup was awful. We had to wait over 40 mins for pickup with a family with young chicken and after we got into the van 2 men pushed in and once we got to check in the men went to the front of the line and there were many issues with them while we and the young family were forced to wait for over 50 minutes. If it was because of him I would rate this company a 10 unfortunately everything else including q the rest of the customer service associates was not a good experience . He went above and beyond plus we witnessed him outside of work helping someone in need as explained above

Cons: I delivered the rental car, it was fully checked, fuel checked, everything was fine No Damage. I paid €63.30 for Tolls but NO REFUND of the €1599.00 they Charged my Credit Card, which is related to Car Insurance. Why was my Credit Card NOT credited and money refunded ?

Pros: My flight was cancelled and drive for more showd no flexibility in altering the booking. They didn't respond to my request for a number of days and I couldn't get through via phone. Very poor service.

Pros: When returning the car made mention of the reason of a earlier return because of the surcharge and the person that dealt with me was very apologetic took on board my comment and even said that he would share them with management.
