Cheap rent at Lisbon Airport

Pros: The price was appealing initially, but didn't end up being so when they falsely accused us of scratching the car.

Cons: Cheap Rent A Car Lisbon, Portugal was unscrupulous. We inspected the car in a dark garage when we picked it up & when we returned the car they accused us of scratching the car in 2 spots. The car has 41,000km & has scratches and scuffs on every corner & we were very careful not to cause any scratches. They insisted on charging us $100 Euro for damage & we will never ever rent a car from them again. We are canceling our reservation with them for our next trip in Italy.

Cons: This car company has reasonable rental prices but makes their real money in claiming that you caused damage to their cars during the rental. I did take a picture of damage to a rim when I picked up my rental (fortunately) as they tried to tell me I had caused the damage so was able to avoid that added expense by showing them the picture. Unfortunately I did not notice another scratch which they said I caused and without proof I ended up paying additional charges when I dropped off the car.

Pros: Great value. One piece of advice. When collecting the car, they may not check the car over with you, as they keep.the paperwork on the car electronically. When they email you the paperwork, and you detect any damage or dents or scratches, take photos and immediately email to them. My car had a slight dent which I informed them immediately by email, and it wasn't a problem when I check the car back in at the end of the rental.

While picking up the car the representative spoke very little English, did not explain much and I was not aware and shown the car damages or the mentioning of them in the contract. I was also not told I should take pictures of damages as well. When returning the car I was shown a minor damage underneath the front bumper that was not mentioned in the contract and I had to pay for it. I never made any damage to the car, with no accidents at all.

My luck was I've recorded a video with those issues. Please take care with this company, record video, take photos or you will be charged for issues already present in the car. The location was easy to find and Marko, the agent was great. He provided us with a brand new car, better than the one we were identified to get and explained everything about the rental conditions and insurance. We were in and out really quickly!

Pros: Não gostei um dos funcionários na entrega do carro foi bem rude mais os que receberam o carro foram muito agradáveis todos bem jovens .

Cons: Não são compreensíveis me atrasei 20 minutos e paguei mais que o aluguel do carro por uma semana para tirar o carro da garagem pela semana paguei 37 euros pelo seguro discover 40 e pelo atraso de 20 minutos paguei 70 euros tive uma infelicidade também ,na volta tive que pagar mais 200 euros na locadora mesmo tendo o seguro da discover porque alguém passou e fez um risco ao carro estacionado enfim estou no aguardo que a discover me reembolse ou pelo menos se manifeste sobre o assunto obrigado.

A kocsi hibátlannak tűnt, de kb fél óra múlva, a szálláshelyen láttuk, hogy van az oldalán egy minimális horpadás (valószínűleg korábban rányitottak ajtót parkolóban). 4 napig izgultunk, hogy ezt nekünk felróják-e? Szerencsére nem!

Pros: The car was a good value and a better model than expected. Staff were apologetic due to the problems they caused. If the company can improve their communication and pick up/drop off process they'd be a great value.

Cons: Complicated and poor pick up process. We selected the "meet and greet" service. There was noone to greet us at the gate. Worse, it took several hours to complete the pick up due to difficultly reaching the company, having difficulty communicating with them, once we did, and lastly having a new staff member being very slow with the computer check in. The actual car was great. Drop off was again problematic, so we paid for a taxi to get us to the airport since the shuttle had already left.

We spent money in taxis going to the airport to ttry to find them, it eas very difficult. They dont respond phone calls or emails. Pros: I met other providers at the Airport who told me Cheap rent’s service is not good and they take long time to answer the call if I am lucky. But it was total lie I called them when I arrived and a gentleman came to pick up me within 5 minutes. Service at the desk was amazing and contract was signed electronically within few minutes. Smooth ride and highly recommend Cheap rent.
