By the time we arrived it was 1hr 5 mins into the booking we had paid for. The car fit the four of us, including our luggage. Service was great! They picked us up/ dropped us off at the Lisbon airport. If no pick up at the Lisbon airport after 10 minutes, call them (# is in the confirm email). The rental had a toll pass which made it easy to go through the toll booths. A taxi was sent to us to take us to a town 45 minute away to a different rental car company, to get a car to drive back to Lisbon to drop that car off, then shuttle to Cheap Rent to get another car. No compensation for tolls or time (we were a 9 hour round trip from where we broke down). Lost a whole day. Not impressed. The next car was a little old and became low on diesel treatment before we got back.

They insisted on charging us $100 Euro for damage & we will never ever rent a car from them again. We are canceling our reservation with them for our next trip in Italy.

I did take a picture of damage to a rim when I picked up my rental (fortunately) as they tried to tell me I had caused the damage so was able to avoid that added expense by showing them the picture. Unfortunately I did not notice another scratch which they said I caused and without proof I ended up paying additional charges when I dropped off the car.

When they email you the paperwork, and you detect any damage or dents or scratches, take photos and immediately email to them. While picking up the car the representative spoke very little English, did not explain much and I was not aware and shown the car damages or the mentioning of them in the contract. I was also not told I should take pictures of damages as well. Cons: No shuttle waiting at the airport at the time of arrival as it was written in the contract. Had to ask another company to call them and wait 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. Tried to contact them via there website messenger chat and via email for a question about the return. Took 2 days to answer. Refused to drive us to the hotel (3km away from the airport) even after spending 1000$ on the rental, returning the car a day early, and waiting at the airport for the shuttle. Amateurs.

Cons: Att de typ var mycket övertydliga på att vår full coverage försäkring inte alls var BRA. Utan de förklarade att det skulle vara mycket svårt att få ut några pengar vid någon skada på hyrbilen vi valt. Därför erbjöd de deras försäkring samt en större bil som kompesation samt en lägre deposition som tillval. Typ 350€ i stället för 1400€.

Pros: we came to pickup the car 62 minutes later (because we could not find the place) and they charged us 90€(!!!!!) More for it! They did not respect the voucher that says we can be late for 80 minutes (discover cars vaucher). They were not nice, and over charged us for something that wast written anywhere. The cheap rent salesmen are not the friendliest and instead push you to take additional insurance, claiming the discover cars insurance is not sufficient.

Pros: Cheap rent was fantastic! I heard of many issues with customers meeting an agent at the airport. We picked up our car two days after we flew into Lisbon. The location was easy to find and Marko, the agent was great. He provided us with a brand new car, better than the one we were identified to get and explained everything about the rental conditions and insurance. We were in and out really quickly!
