Cons: Needed to obtain a service slip, but it wasn’t clearly signed so I waited in line needlessly until I realized others that came after were being attended to. It was only then I realized I need to pull a slip.
Cons: The pickup involved dealing with 6 people. Can be way more efficient. Drop-off experience was absolutely horrible and sub-par.

Cons: Hello, Sixt charged 400€ on my credit card after i returned the car and said everything was okay. I don’t know the reason behind this charge and was not provided with any receipt to know what it is.
Pros: very fast pick -up. Tomas was very nice and provided us with all the information.
Pros: At rental desk, the employee was very nice and customer centric. While dropping the car, it was quick and effective.
Cons: Employees at rental desk while picking the car were a bit messy. And it took time to retrieve the car and go out with it as we were blocked. Total amount paid is higher than expected. Waiting for explanations. If it happens to be normal, I would have appreciated more details and information to know more about what I was paying for. Car had an electronic issue with left rear tyre wrongly highlighted as an issue.
Cons: Faulty car, felt very unsafe to drive. Had to get the car towed and had to get a new one which was a 5 hour process.

Cons: The car that I booked was not available. Waiting almost an hour for Sixt to handover the keys. Sixt customer staff service understaffed and not customer friendly. Old car with more than 80,000 km. Full of scratches.

Pros: Return service was really fast. Got a minor free car class ”upgrade”.
Cons: Fuel policy not full-full, full tank of fuel was billed at pickup, which was already more expensive than fueling yourself. Also the residue you have left when returning the car will not be refunded. Our car was a bmw 2 series with a LIST OF 30 ISSUES. All rims scratched, major dents in almost all parts of the car, paint wearing off, washer fluid pretty much only water… So in this sense, way too expensive for the quality of car.

Cons: We rented the car for my parents who are older and were traveling solo. They prepaid for the car and got full insurance when we booked. At the Sixt counter they required a deposit (a hold on the credit card for insurance and loss) and additional fees or wouldn't give them the car. In addition they mentioned additional fees of $160 dollars. We are waiting for the credit card bill to see what they billed and if there are addtional fees charged.

Pros: After the condition of the car checked out on return, they said there was a possible ‘secondary evaluation.’ What?? This gave me a very suspicious thoughts. Either the car was in the proper condition when I returned it, or it wasn’t! Plus, the credit card deposit return seems very slow.
Cons: The Reps at the rental desk were business like, but not at all friendly. They felt on hard ball auto-pilot. Not a lot of information on how to get to the pick up point. At the pick up point, not much information about the direction for the return.

Cons: The process was multi-step and confusing. We ended up waiting in the queue for almost 40 minutes before having to go wait in another one and then having to wait for our car. In the end, probably about 1h15m queuing and waiting for things to rent the car. Given we were only renting for the day, this was a real dent in our rental time, as well.

Cons: Cost of rental stated by Discover: 1117.58 EUR Price paid: 1.295,85 EUR I appreciate that we were reasonably charged 13€ for being slightly late on the return, but that still makes the total charge nearly 15% more than quoted. We will never use Discover Cars again.

Pros: Super friendly staff. Appreciated how they set up the toll responder and answered all questions. And they actually had the car we reserved! There were long lines to check in-the only complaint.

Cons: Sixt tried to give me a smaller car, not in the category I booked. They scammed me, I returned the car with a full tank according to the reservation, but they charged me a full tank. When asked about it, they couldn't provide a reasonable explanation. It took a very long time to get the car - around three hours.

They explained that the payment of the full tank in advance would be returned when the car returned with the tank full, which I did. I returned the car with tank full, according to my car rental conditions DiscoverCars.com. They told me that DiscoverCars.com is not explaining properly to the customers. A fraude from Sixt.

Said we cracked a rim/tear in tire but we did not hit anything. Unwillingness to listen. Note to self: Never drop off car and leave it. Wait until the review is done at drop off.

Pros: Often sense a lot of pressure to do more than I actually want and this was ideal. Staff was great and quick even on return. Also believe we got very good value. Honest and excellent this time around.

Cons: We waited well over one and a half hours in line to pick up the car despite filling out all forms online. It was a nightmare at the airport and waisted our precious vacation time. I received an email to fill out the form and it said "just pick up your keys and go". That was far from the case. Once we got the car, we had to wait again for an agent to check it out for scratches etc. The car itself, was fine - no problems. No other car company at the airport had people waiting like Sixt.

Cons: The confusion as to where to go to complete the rental agreement paperwork. The hour plus wait to work with an agent to pick up the car. Agents accent was strong and hard to understand. Had to ask her to write the details of the cost out. No detailed email explaining the final costs. Hopefully I will receive this later.

The desk agent shamelessly tried to upsell everything from insurance to fuel to tolls to a bigger car (despite repeated denials). Then she told me she did not have the car class available that I booked (which happened to nearly every person in front of me as well), and only after much arguing did she finally agree to upgrade me without an additional charge

Cons: I had confirmed exact car type before via mail, but the rental representative denied the confirmation as unfortunate situation and was forcing me for 40 min to book more expensive car even was agreeing that with his manager. Than suprisingly after showing the confirmation mail in my phone they said that the car is available, and that he just wanted to offer me better car. Then I as a customer feel tricked / or almost ripped off.

Cons: we booked a car for seven people, but found that it had only five seats, with two additional smaller seats in the trunk, preventing the storage of any luggage. no larger car was available when we arrived. the car was not ready on arrival, and check-in took more than two hours. the car had less than 1/8 a tank of fuel when we picked it up, and we very nearly ran out of gas while looking for a filling station.

Cons: - we've never waited so long to pick up a car, about 75 minutes as there were about 15 people waiting before us and only 2 agents, one of which was very slow and seemed to be on the phone for several minutes in between each customer - you take a number(like at the deli counter) instead of lining up for service, but this was not immediately apparent and we waited for about 10 minutes in line before we saw another person do it. We watched others do this & told them -no map of any kind avail.

Cons: Length of time waiting to be dealt with, car was dirty and scratched. We were told it was the only one of that size but on asking for a partial refund for one day, they managed to find another. However we would then have to wait as there were two other people in front of us wanting to change cars. The Manager was very rude although the young girl dealing with us was polite and helpful. Overall though the staff were very slow and customer service poor. Would not recommend.
