Cons: The service was excellent except it took a while for them to hand me the car; I guess this is due to the original car was not available. But the drop off was quick and the guy that checked the car was very professional and explained everything to me. The person at the counter also clearly explained what needs to be done and those 2 guys made my check out very easy after 35 days of driving to Portugal and Spain.

Pros: This is my preferred option to rent a car in Lisbon. If you know what you are doing and come prepared, you can pick up your car very quickly. Drop off is also very efficient. I cannot fault the service when compared to most other companies I have tried, even the more established companies.

However on this occasion we noticed that someone had slightly banged the drivers door & the key lock cover came off. The charge for this was €1100 !!!!! Extortionate by any means. Cons: They indicated that 3rd party liability only applied to personal injury not to physical damage, therefore the Discovery Cars insurance was not sufficient and I needed to buy their liability insurance at an inflated rate. The Discovery Car information sheet on the rental states that 3rd party liability is covered, with no exceptions noted. Discovery should make it clear in its information exactly what 3rd party liability insurance covers.

Cons: I was charged 12,95€ for VIA Verde activation even though I did not use it. A 0,75€ got automatically charged at a highway of which you cannot pay in cash, there are no actual tolls, it is a highway sensor that charges you automatically on your car's VIA VERDE. However, in case your car does not have one, it would charge you via other means. Yet, the car rental charged me 12,95€ for service activation plus 0,75€ against my will.

Pros: EXCELLENT INSTRUCTIONS ON PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF. EASE OF CHANGING MY RENTAL CONTRACT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY RENTAL TERM.

Pros: Have used Drive-On Holidays (part of Movida) on two occasions now at LIS. They have relocated to a brand new facility which is about 5-10minutes away. It is very customer friendly and purpose built with the customer in mind. Pick-up/Drop-off are colocated which makes the process easier. There are dedicated desks for both ends of the process. Staff were very courteous and helpful and nicely presented in their orange 🍊 uniforms! The cars have received have been spotless and newer than expected!

Cons: The pick-up at the terminal can add a little time to the collection process depending on how many others are waiting. It’s a similar scenario with the return so that needs to be factored in to the arrival. On a plus side the location is close to a Prio Petrol station (by far the cheapest near the airport) where you can also wash/vacuum the car should you need to!

Cons: Their department and maintenance procedures sucks ! Tires are almost like Formula 1...Fernando Alonso needs them...Verstappen offers more... Seats should be clean too - not with traces of milk or ant other body doubtable liquids...The steering wheel too, cleaned and not at all sticky...Dust on the screen !!! Me, I do not need such rubbers never in my life No way !!!

Cons: They didn’t accept by credit card’s collision damage waiver insurance letter. Wasn’t entirely clear to me why. Luckily we had no accidents and it wasn’t an issue.

Cons: Car had no oil, car had no adblue I had to add it, above 110km/h the car started shaking, scratches in the front and wait 25 for the shuttle, 8 years being there costumer and still don’t have any historic of my past in that company. Really terrible sinse Movida took over! Never again!
