Pros: They made me pay a new booking at a higher price for the car. Even though I showed them that I already had paid in full for a car and had a confirmation email. When I when to give the car back, I was told that I had been charged almost £900. This is an absolute joke
Cons: The company are liars. Would never expect this from such a reputable company. I will be taking this further and seeking legal advice

Many highways in Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of1.89 EUR day up to a maximum of 18.90 EUR rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
