Pros: Trustful and efficient

Pros: We had the pleasure of being received by Goncalo who was helpful and made the pickup seamless. He was also present on drop off and asked about the trip having remembered the pickup. Great customer service.

Pros: As I was first in the transport to the pick up station, as we arrive at the station and everyone left the van before me and therefore got to the counters first. I was Impressed by the van driver, as He explained the people that got to the counter before me that I was first. I wasn't expecting that, so hands up for the young man for putting order to the all situation and organisation. Well impressed. In all my years never seen anything like it. So respect to tangerine staff.

Cons: Nothing to note. I understand that it's their job offer us all the extras that they do, like the insurance, so I've listened and at no point felt pushed in any way. It's part of their job. And they do it well. It's a matter of yes or no and that was that.

Pros: Good car

Cons: Charged me an extra day when they told me I could bring car until 8pm and warned me if I would do more than 2000km I would need to lose 1 day vacation for oil change

Cons: The person at TANGERINE was very PUSHY and scared us about buying extra insurance, even though we had full insurance with Discover Cars

Cons: Waited 90 minutes to pick up the car. Huge queue and not enough staff. Hard sell to buy CDW after long wait was NOT appreciated. Car was inspected in low light of underground car park, making it very difficult to see any existing damage before hire. World not use Tangerine again.

Cons: -everything else -attitude of the staff - most of them get defensive and rude quite quickly -I've dealt with various staff members here, and the last two times, I feel the new/current staff really try to take advantage of customers, charging crazy amounts, not explaining costs, etc. I even had one agent give me her boyfriend's real estate agent card & booklet! -many hidden costs here, don't explain things well -terrible delays in getting needed info for claims -bad customer service=normal here

Cons: Didn’t give a car that was ordered and tried lying about it. Tried overcharging by 80€ Added random requirements to charge more money that were not advertised. Wouldn’t let us return the car at a later hour even though we were entitled to according the contract.

Cons: The return was a horrible experience that could have been easy with a few signs. The main entrance to the lot was closed and a sign pointed toward the corner, Seeing a lot I went straight ,then could only go down multiple levels until I hit bottom, Coming back up after wasting 15 min I noticed Tangerine to the left of the exit---but no sign. The check-in staff took forever and we had to leave before they finished. I have called and emailed asking for a final bill. 14 days later-nothing.

Cons: Was upsold under the pretence of being helpful and the offer for the upgrade to slightly bigger car was initially 3 times the original rental price. Offer quickly dropped by 70% which shows how they try to trick you. Even after the steep decline in the upgrade cost it more than doubled our overall cost. In addition, the car had impact damage and severe scratching that had never been repaired.

Cons: In the reservation we added the full coverage and when we arrived at the pickup we found out that it doesn’t cover everything so we had to add additional funds. However it was worth it and gave us peace of mind. The location is somewhat hard to find but it wasn’t too bad.

Cons: They were not to trust! When we picked up the car they tried to push all sorts of extra costs on us, and became rather unpleasant. They went over the car, but several minor scratches were not marked on the paper, since the Rental agent said they were nothing to care about. When delivering the car, one of these scratches on the wheel were blamed on us. Luckily we filmes the whole car when picking up, so we could proove that it was not our fault. The whole company felt shady!

Pros: I didn't like anything about the service we received from tangerine. It started with needing to take a shuttle from the airport that involved a 30 minute wait with little help.

Cons: Upon arrival to the new location away from the airport we literally spent 3 hours waiting for our car. The staff kept blaming it on someone calling in sick but it was because of poor organization. On top of that we were continously pressured to purchase additional insurance even after purchasing insurance through discovery cars that stated we were covered. I was very upset with this treatment

It only fit 5 passengers and two luggage’s so I had to use taxis for the rest of my family that’s not right to lie because it ruined a lot of my vacation and cost more money I paid for a 7 passengers and 5 luggage’s and that not what i got very disappointed

Pros: Er was een miscommunicatie over de ophaal tijd, en daardoor was er niemand meer aanwezig. We zijn toen zelf zonder auto met de metro naar het centrum van Lissabon gegaan. De volgende dag hebben we contact gehad en alles nog netjes geregeld. Wel een aandachtspunt om de aankomsttijd goed af te stemmen.

Cons: Er was niemand meer te bereiken na acht uur ‘s avonds.

Pros: The pick up of the vehicle was an absolute monstrosity. We waited over an hour with two little kids, after 9 hours of travel. It was terrible.

Cons: The service wasn’t good. We waited at the airport for 1hour and half, calling them continuously to know how long it would take to get us and Gavin always the same answer “the van is arriving”. I know Lisbon and worse case would take them 15 to 20 minutes to arrive if there was traffic! When in the office it took over 1h to get the car, very slow service. The car we got was inferior category then the one we booked and they didn’t show any concern about it.

Pros: I doesn’t have issues withe the car, but when I return the vehicle at the office, I forgot my Sun Glasses and an USB cable in the car, when I came back to the office (literally 5 minutes later), I didn’t find both items anymore!

Cons: Huge delay at pick-up due to only one staff member on duty, who was completely overwhelmed and perhaps under qualified. Almost forced to pay the late pick-up fee because of that delay (which was clearly not our fault), but after pressing the agent to come up with a solution, it was done. Would probably give it another try, given the price and quality of car.

Pros: Good efficient operation, a little hard to find in busy Moscavide. After a week in the countryside, it was a challenge to drive in the dense city. Also, this time I got the Fiat 500 I had requested. I visit villages and small towns with narrow streets, and want a small car, not an unwanted upgrade.

Cons: Only that they don't have an office in Coimbra. That would be great. Staff are pleasant, and speak excellent English (fortunately for me).

Cons: It took 2 hours from transfer to diving away, absolutely chaotic. Talking with someone waiting to drop off they also had a 2 hour wait to collect so not a one off. Dropping off was fine except we added an extra hour just in case. The location of company is hard to find so make you mark it before you leave.

Cons: Tangerine a scammers, be aware! They just took security deposit of 1650€ and return only 1500€, tried to contact them and they continue to ignore all calls and messages

Cons: The tread on the tires was really low. They should have been changed. I didn't have a problem until the end of the trip, low tire pressure. The 24 hour assistance number was only provided after I raised questions on pick up about what I should do if I had a tire go out on me.

We spent 20 minutes waiting at the airport for the Tangerine rep who just disappeared and every single phone number we called didn't work. When after we returned the car we had concerns about the toll charges and emailed them for am itemized breakdown and no one responded for day. We had to show up in person to handle the matter.

I didn't buy the EXTRA insurance... Please don't over charge clients. All worked out great in the end.
