Pros: Friendly service all round. Pick up was quite slow due to need to adjust something in my reservation but all went well overall. No surprises in terms of actual price paid vs. price booked. No aggressive upselling of insurance though it was recommended.

Cons: It is a very high deposit to rent the car and you don't know final fees for a number of weeks after the return. In fairness, this may be due to the length of time they receive the cost of tolls, but the unknown aspect of what you may or may not be charged after the fact is disconcerting.

Cons: I am used to car rental companies providing a higher-category vehicle at the time of contract signing at no additional cost. This has happened to me several times in the U.S. and also at Lisbon Airport. On Tuesday, 23 December, the employee informed me that I would be given a higher-category vehicle. Based on previous experience, I nodded, as no extra cost had ever applied. However, today I discovered an additional charge of €73.80 for the upgrade. PLEASE SEE COMPLAINT CONCLUSION BELOW.

Pros: As I was first in the transport to the pick up station, as we arrive at the station and everyone left the van before me and therefore got to the counters first. I was Impressed by the van driver, as He explained the people that got to the counter before me that I was first. I wasn't expecting that, so hands up for the young man for putting order to the all situation and organisation. Well impressed. In all my years never seen anything like it. So respect to tangerine staff.

The main entrance to the lot was closed and a sign pointed toward the corner, Seeing a lot I went straight ,then could only go down multiple levels until I hit bottom, Coming back up after wasting 15 min I noticed Tangerine to the left of the exit---but no sign. The check-in staff took forever and we had to leave before they finished. I have called and emailed asking for a final bill. 14 days later-nothing.

Offer quickly dropped by 70% which shows how they try to trick you. Even after the steep decline in the upgrade cost it more than doubled our overall cost. In addition, the car had impact damage and severe scratching that had never been repaired.

Cons: They were not to trust! When we picked up the car they tried to push all sorts of extra costs on us, and became rather unpleasant. They went over the car, but several minor scratches were not marked on the paper, since the Rental agent said they were nothing to care about. When delivering the car, one of these scratches on the wheel were blamed on us. Luckily we filmes the whole car when picking up, so we could proove that it was not our fault. The whole company felt shady!

Pros: I didn't like anything about the service we received from tangerine. It started with needing to take a shuttle from the airport that involved a 30 minute wait with little help.

Cons: Upon arrival to the new location away from the airport we literally spent 3 hours waiting for our car. The staff kept blaming it on someone calling in sick but it was because of poor organization. On top of that we were continously pressured to purchase additional insurance even after purchasing insurance through discovery cars that stated we were covered. I was very upset with this treatment

Pros: Er was een miscommunicatie over de ophaal tijd, en daardoor was er niemand meer aanwezig. We zijn toen zelf zonder auto met de metro naar het centrum van Lissabon gegaan. De volgende dag hebben we contact gehad en alles nog netjes geregeld. Wel een aandachtspunt om de aankomsttijd goed af te stemmen.

Pros: The pick up of the vehicle was an absolute monstrosity. We waited over an hour with two little kids, after 9 hours of travel. It was terrible.

Cons: The service wasn’t good. We waited at the airport for 1hour and half, calling them continuously to know how long it would take to get us and Gavin always the same answer “the van is arriving”. I know Lisbon and worse case would take them 15 to 20 minutes to arrive if there was traffic! When in the office it took over 1h to get the car, very slow service. The car we got was inferior category then the one we booked and they didn’t show any concern about it.

Pros: I doesn’t have issues withe the car, but when I return the vehicle at the office, I forgot my Sun Glasses and an USB cable in the car, when I came back to the office (literally 5 minutes later), I didn’t find both items anymore!

Almost forced to pay the late pick-up fee because of that delay (which was clearly not our fault), but after pressing the agent to come up with a solution, it was done. Pros: Good efficient operation, a little hard to find in busy Moscavide. After a week in the countryside, it was a challenge to drive in the dense city. Also, this time I got the Fiat 500 I had requested. I visit villages and small towns with narrow streets, and want a small car, not an unwanted upgrade.

Cons: It took 2 hours from transfer to diving away, absolutely chaotic. Talking with someone waiting to drop off they also had a 2 hour wait to collect so not a one off. Dropping off was fine except we added an extra hour just in case. The location of company is hard to find so make you mark it before you leave.

Cons: The tread on the tires was really low. They should have been changed. I didn't have a problem until the end of the trip, low tire pressure. The 24 hour assistance number was only provided after I raised questions on pick up about what I should do if I had a tire go out on me.
