Global Rent a Car at Lisbon Airport

Pros: Not a good experience.

Cons: Over charging me because my plane was over fours late.

Cons: The car rented had an issue with air con even if new. I will suggest to have a check list on this before to rent a vehicle.

Pros: The service was good and efficient.

Cons: The service was great, but when reserving the car online, I will always appreciate total transparency from the beginning. And not discover the things written in small letters later...

Pros: Efficient and friendly staff, got the car as reserved it was clean and in pristine cond. Picking up and returning the car was an easy and quick process. Additional options were clearly explained at pick-up and the shuttle service back to the airport was good.

Cons: Only point to improve is to communicate more clearly that pick-up is outside airport premises and whether a shuttle to the rental station is available and it’s departure place and time.

Cons: I wish one would have explained the operation of the car as there was no operation manual in the car. Also I had to ask what to do in case of a flat as there was no spare car. One instruction sheet for the operation of the vehicle would be handy.

Cons: Car was provided with 7/8 fuel and I was told this is full it will not read full as it is a problem with the gauge, I experienced the same issue filling up when returning it will click the pump and not allow more fuel and only shows 7/8 the car was dropped and the rep said I would be charged for my toll usage but never mentioned fuel as I assumed he was aware of the issue that was raised to me when collecting, upon reviewing my email billl they have charged me for 1/8 fuel..

Cons: Most rental services charge the credit card after dropping off you on the other hand charge upfront which was well in access of the eventual cost and I must now await the next credit card statement to see how much is actually credited to my account. When travelling for business I would not use your service again and for vacation travel, I will study the savings vs the competition and the extra hassle . I will be using a rent a car 3 - 4 months this a year depending .

Pros: The price is good. When we were dropping the car on October 21, 2021, another gentleman who accepted the car was nice to deal with, kind, polite and efficient, unlike of our pick-up.

Pros: The representative who was at the desk to process our paperwork and payment was very efficient and helpful. He did a great job explaining everything about the rental to us in a timely fashion.

Cons: It was very challenging to locate the rental agent at the airport and after we did he almost left us at the airport. On the way back, we had to way more than 45 minutes for the airport shuttle, making us late for our check in as well.

Cons: The Shuttle on drop off was slow and reliant on other travellers dropping off their cars. At the airport the Shuttle driver didn't indicate that there was Terminal 1 or a Terminal 2 drop off point. resulting in some panic when we realised we were in the wrong terminal. The car rental is cheaper but if you want smooth fast transition I wouldn't recommend them. Also we paid for the full insurance package and there was sand from the beach in the drivers side and the staff make a remark about it

I had given them the number of my flight while booking for this exact reason and they said they dont care it is not their problem. What a bad customer service. Aside from that everything was okay, car was good and service was ok. I would not go there again just for the fact that they made me pay more and it wasnt my fault.

Pros: The desk agent was very accommodating and polite, and ultimately only charged an additional 10 Euros for the car in a higher category. We felt this was a fair resolution and appreciated how understanding she was. She also shared her charging cord when my phone was dying.

Stood in line and then agents brought in new clients directly to a desk and processed them before me. Waited too long at the airport for someone eventually turned up after ringing the office three times. They kept saying just five minutes which turned into thirty.

Cons: The rental is an improvised setup in a public garage in the middle of Lisbon. Mostly rude staff, however one was friendly trying to help with the situation. The car wasnt ready, they tried to give me a car with different specs. That didn't work. Eventually got a car more than 3 hours after booking. Wait at the airport and wait at the rental for transfers is considerable.

Pros: I didn’t like the service at all. It took us over an hour to check in and we still didn’t get a car that it was ready to be rented. The tank wasn’t full and they didn’t have a compatible or big enough to fit our luggages.
