Pros: The car was relatively new (8000 kms on odometer) and meet my expectations. Also the the car was clean on the exterior and the interior.

Cons: The service agent's attitude and rude behavior during pickup. He first denied to rent the car as I didn't have international driving permit, I have an Indian license which is in English. I had made sure with green motion if it was okay to rent with my Indian license and they agreed over a phone call, when I arrived there they said they can not initially and made me wait for 30 mins before he could confirm with his manager.

Pros: I had a great experience with Green Motion Rent a Car. The staff was friendly and professional, handling the paperwork quickly and efficiently. They accompanied me to inspect the car and were very transparent in reviewing the paperwork. Their honesty and attention to detail were impressive. The car was in excellent condition, and I had no issues during my rental. I highly recommend Green Motion for their reliable, transparent service. They make the rental process smooth and stress-free!

Cons: There’s no representative at the airport, which was a bit inconvenient. The phone number provided by Discover Cars was incorrect, so I had to Google the right one to call for pickup. It’s not a huge issue, but something to be aware of.

Pros: The car was good

Cons: Ignored my payment to Discover Gave me wrong information about how to arrive in the pick-up in Faro, taking me three hours to finally be in the desk. The agent in the desk ignored my previous reservation with Discover and I only realized that a month later, in the credit card bill. Besides that the agent was extremelly slow and took more two hours to fill the contract.

Cons: Be aware of late pick-up charge, we were delayed due to Airline and had to pay €50 extra for arriving after 8pm. Also, when checking for damage during collection be sure to record every mark on the windscreen, as it seems a popular point of interest when returning the car.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Accident Administration fee.
Many highways in mainland Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of 2.07 EUR per day up to a maximum of 20.81 EUR per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin, Roman, English alphabet.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Licences issued in Mexico are not accepted.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Portugal. Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
