Cons: It is important to note that rental car pick up is slightly past the other car companies stall (there is a sing in the area) and that the transfer vans do not have the car company name on the side, only on a small paper in the windshield.

Cons: I was told I could drop my vehicle off at 7am to catch a train. It was a $40eu fee and they showed up at 8am were complete jerks to us and missed my train.

Pros: Not much. Appalling company. Car was ok.

Cons: This company has no clue about customer service. Disinterested staff. At pickup, my flight was 30mins late so they charged me €40 out of hours fee. On drop off , when I entered the office there were two staff, and just me, one stuffing his face with food, the other lounging back in his chair completely disinterested. Food person eventually looked at car. Tried to charge me €39 for toll device even though I’d never left Algarve and motorways now free there. Chair person quite obnoxious.

Cons: car return staff was extremely rude. support helpline did everything but support. unclear instructions, does not speak english.

Pros: Very helpful in making sure all relevant information was relayed to hire prior to accepting contract. Customer service was exceptional with very clear instructions for any eventualities that may have occurred before & whilst hiring vehicle. A 24 hour WhatsApp group was available if there were to be any issues whilst hiring the vehicle.

Cons: Pick up point was a long way from the airport. I had booked a Peugeot 308 station wagon or similar, but the biggest wagon they had was a Skoda Scala, some 20% smaller. This caused us problems with carrying friends and their golf clubs, so they had to hire their own car. Not good!

Cons: Long wait for transfer and then overcrowded. Staff at the rental desk were as usual very pushy and trying to upsell. Return desk staff were rude, dismissive and actively trying to make up reasons to charge you extra. Car was full of minor dints and scratches. Very dusty and dirty outside which made it difficult to spot in advance. A lot of the damage was not marked in advance on the rental agreements

Cons: The rep when dropping off the car was rude and pointed out a 1mm stone chip that cost me £154 as I couldn’t prove it may have already been there prior to collection. Make sure you take pictures of the front side and rear of the car for your own piece of mind as 3 other people were also charged at the sur price collections desk for very minor negligible issues that didn’t warrant an extra cost.

Cons: They made me pay 95 euros for an extra driver when my original quote had included an extra driver. They were rude and stand offish. The guy who did the handover hardly spoke to us. The car/van was in a very poor state and had marks and scrapes all over. The diesel tank gauge was on 3 quarters full. When we took it back I filled it up to the same.3 quarters full. The lady agent told us it shold be full and tried to charge me 20 euros extra. When I complained she said I should have taken a photo.

Cons: How long the shuttle transfer between the airport and the car rental place was - in both directions. It was the wait, not the journey.

Pros: Seemed less expensive at time of booking.

Cons: The pick up location was an old shack off the beaten track. The staff were rude, dismissing our requests to include damage on pre contract, saying they already knew what the previous damages were! If we hadn't insisted on making a video of all cars hired, including underneath chassis, we definitely would have been charged for previous damage to vehicles, as we were then asked to explain previous damage on drop off, though we highlighted at pick up.more expensive overall. Choose surprice!

Avoid Drive4Move SurPrice and Drivilia all in same ownership at Faro. Fraudsters

Pros: DRIVE4MOVE/SURPRICE is inter INTERNATIONAL CAR which is a TOTAL SCAM! Bought the insurance with Discovercars and the employee from SURPRICE threatened us to purchase an additional insurance. They even said that they DONT ACCEPT AMEX for deposit!! Took us 2hours to pick up the car! Car in bad condition with a lot of scratches (because I’m YOUNG DRIVER?)

Pros: My rental car was Sur-price, not Drive4Move. I didn't like anything about them

Cons: Sur-price claimed that their store hours were between 8 am and 8 pm. We were standing there at 7:45 to return our car. There was someone at the desk sitting there but she wouldn't help us before 8 am unless we paid a 40 Euro fee for being helped "out of hours". Then, she claimed we didn't buy any insurance (as it turned out we bought with discover cars our insurance, when we thought we bought from our rental car place), and the proceeded to try and find "damage" to the car to pay her personally!

Pros: Car was fine until I returned it.Agent inspected car, went straight to boot and pointed out OLD scratches which had not been marked out on original inspection sheet.

They basically robbed me at the end of the trip thank god I’ve insurance but the car they gave me was shocking and really banged up, constant service lights coming on and off and then they pinned a lot of the previous damage on me. Cons: Even though I showed the agent a picture of the fuel level at collection she insisted 5/8 was not 5 bars and made me go and top it up twice which took it way beyond the level when connected If anyone reads this please feel free to contact me as I would on principle want my 15euros back I have had issues with Surprice before and never used them again which is why they go under two other different names ie Drive4more cowboys better to pay more to get closer to the airport and better sevice

Pros: New car with 10K Km, friendly staff, easy drop off and pick up. Very cheap.

Cons: They were very precise on checking the carvs body/wheels. The Surprice company on google maps (which actually rented me the car) has some bad reviews and I was worried if I will be scammed for preexisting damages. However there was no issue, drop off was uneventful and I got my deposit back.

Cons: When they check the car with me prior to the start of the rental, they did not check the down parte of the car, so we coudnt know if that part was ok. When I returned the car they charged me 190€ for a little scratch in the down parte of the car that could be or nor there before, anyway the fee charged is abusive and not fair. I filled a reclamation on their book of reclamation not after asking twice for that, when first responde was "we don't have that

Cons: It’s in the middle of nowhere. Make sure you check the car thoroughly and leave plenty of time to drop the car off as it takes ages.

Pros: I did get the kind of car (diesel) I specifically reserved (and paid for) but it took the rental office some effort to find one on their lot and it was not in the greatest shape.

Cons: Really bad communications options - our flight was delayed, but it was impossible to get in touch with anyone to inform about a change in pick-up time - the number provided was a recorded line and there were no other contact options. Friends had to come to bail us out from the airport and drive to the rental office the next day. Very nice people (Portugal!) at the rental office, but a rather disappointing pick-up experience. Incorrect location hours and out-of-hours drop-off fees in the listing.
