Pros: Everything was very easy from pick up to drop off! Everyone spoke English and was super nice & professional. They are located about a 5-10min shuttle ride from the airport. Easy to find the van at outside the airport where they said they would be & dropping the car back off took about 15 minutes at most. Highly recommend & would definitely use them again.

We then discovered several scratches and other damages. Went back into the office and asked a clerk to explain the damage report on the contract which was in Portuguese. He had no interest in this. Then asked him to come out so we could inspect the car together. He then said I could take a video of the car. Taking pictures of a black car in bright sunshine

Even a car dealership couldn’t get the information to register. I should be reimbursed for it!!! I bought a SIM card for my phone so I had navigational aid.

Cons: At the rental facility, someone should take the time to go over the features of the vehicle, as some foreign tourists aren't familiar with european vehicles. It was obvious that the attendants wanted you out of their as soon as possible. There wasn't a vehicle manual provided either. The driver seat in this vehicle was extremely uncomfortable.

Pros: Frankly not much. I am a frequent traveler and I have Hertz President’s Circle and Avis Preferred status…nothing about this experience was seamless it up to current par of the industry.

Cons: I was not aware of HOW budget the rental car company was and the whole process was “nickel and dimed” the whole way. The staff was friendly…enough but the car was NOT as advertised (a base model BMW M2) with no bells and whistles and yet I had to pay a $4200 euro deposit for a “luxury” car…no rear camera, No seat warmer, etc…multiple transactions for basics that you don’t have to deal with when using Hertz or Avis…will definitely not use your company again.

They forgot the child car seat we had requested, we had to put in ourselves with no help, no installation instructions etc and was told that an external company fitted the seats so they couldn't help. We know from friends using the same company at the same time that this was not the case. We spent extra for a premium vehicle similar to Alfa Romeo Stelvio. There were plenty available but we were given a Citroën. In our opinion, Citroën are not premium cars!

Cons: La mancanza di serietà. Mi sono rivolto a loro perché cercavo un mezzo (un van 8 posti) , che mi è stato prima preventivato ad una cifra, poi quasi triplicata. E quando, con diverse difficoltà date dalla distanza dall'aeroporto, mi sono recato presso Drive on Holidays, ho perso più di un'ora del mio tempo per non avere il van (con la solita scusa di un incidente avvenuto poco prima) e mi sono state consegnate due auto ad un prezzo più che triplicato rispetto al prezzo di mercato. Una vergogna!

Pros: There was someone with a sign at arrivals who told us where to go, really perfect! Very kind employees behind the desks, no pressure for other insurance. Normal and customer based way of handling us.

Cons: P4 is quite a long way from arrivals, we had lots of suitcases and children. The car hire company drive on holidays tried to give me a much smaller car than I had paid for! I had paid for a car that would accommodate 5 people and 4 suitcases! The full insurance without excess was extremely expensive! I ordered two large cars for my family holiday and in total it was almost £3500 for two weeks car hire! Disgraceful and considerable significantly more than quoted! I will not use again.

Cons: All firms, naturally, try to sell additional insurance and other things. When declined on the booking form I would like to see, in addition to "I'll take the risk," the words, "No thank you, I have insurance," which I do in the form of an annual policy.

The excess was only payable with a credit not debit card, and not putting 2k euros on a British credit card meant essentially being obliged to pay yet another fully comp fee of over 100 euros extra. Car seat charge (not visible online) we’re double that compared to other companies. Given late evening and outside of airport we paid the extra price but I will not be going with this company again.

There was one 7 seater shuttle 'bus' with a small boot going backwards and forwards, and a huge cue waiting. There was no cueing system or communication from the shuttle bus driver, it was very badly organised. I will not be using this service again

I lost a day of my holiday for THEIR error and I received no discount on the price. But when I returned the car a couple business hours after I planned to (but no additional 24 hour period was started), they told me that I had to pay 33 more Euros.

Pros: Drive on holidays we’re great. Unfortunately we incurred additional fees since discover hadn’t changed driver details as we’d requested. On that basis we’ll go probably go back to using Rentalcars for our several rentals a year. The only response I get is an automated one. Not good enough

Cons: The agent told me about cleaning costs, the money paid for the toll costs, the payment to cover the risk of damage or blocking 1100 on my credit card. It felt like I was bombarded with information, all of which was with the aim of taking more money from me. Not a nice start to our holiday!

Pros: Communication with Carla and Lara on headquarters. They really helped me and my fiance out in regards of what happened with the four tires during our vacation. BIG SHOUT OUT TO CARLA.

Cons: All four tires on the car had to be switched out at mechanic 3 days into trip, and Drive on Holidays (Carla on the phone/email) took the cost of _second hand tires_ as supplement. We got to keep the car, yes, great! But the next day we had an air-leakage and woke up to a pretty flat tire. Carla again was a superstar for the second situation. Communication with Carla in OP DEP was an angel and Drive on Holidays have her to thank for us being super happy with our trip over all.

No at all clear what the customer is supposed to do upon finding the car rental car park at the airport - no signs or staff to advise. Simply had to join the queues of people at the small desk and wait for advice that a bus comes to collect people (after a dismissive wave as if to say “why have you joined our queue”

Cons: I collected the car in the dark at night under dimmed lights and noted this. Unclear what I was being charged for, and the worst service I ever received on giving back the car. No transparency on how I could be charged €1,000 for a tear on a tyre. It started off at €3,500 and then when I objected €1,000 with no proof as to how a hire company could justify that for two tyres. Any answers to questions were delayed even though I was anxious to return to catch a plane. I will be following this up.

Cons: Abysmal experience. We did not receive a car because they would not take my Amex. For a company that only accepts credit card, not taking Amex seems like a fatal flaw. We offered to pay for any fees associated but they declined. I had a number of debit cards but they declined. I asked to speak to the manager who was incredibly rude and told us to leave....we therefore had to pay a taxi. Additional to the issues; the shuttle point is poorly signposted and we had to wait ~40 minutes for it to arrive

Moreover, when I received the car it was in a TERRIBLE condition and felt very dangerous. Took a while to start it now and then. The car was hired out cheaply and then I was charged for "damage". A great business model!!

Cons: My most recent experience with them was excellent as the car was not well presented and was low on oil. They exchanged it with a bramd new car at my home address. First class !

I offered to go and get £2500 out of bank but they refused. Do not use this company
