Klass Wagen at Faro Airport

Pros: Pick up from the airport was good. Car handover man poor. Pushing their own exorbitant insurance Huge amt of paperwork. Nothing really explained properly. Given a car that had 24/25 marks scratches and dents. Brought this to his attention. Shrugged his shoulders Take photos and compare with their record I was told. Car was in a very poor area to take proper photos. Too bright in one area and too dark in another area. Not enough room to take a proper video. Their record of damage to car

Cons: Their record of damage not sent until I was in the car ,so no time to check every mark etc as I said over 24 areas to check. Could have taken an hour to do it. I was extremely careful with the car and when I left it back Of course they found something ,report is claiming 1450 euro I’m absolutely disgusted. For tiny dent .i am liasing with them. This is a scam and I’ll be very surprised if it ends well .I sent on photos which I know they will dispute . A dent repair man could sort this out 100E

Cons: The waiting time was to long even though they do don't the round with clients to show details, they just give you the keys, make you sign like all is good, tell you where is the car and done. Mine was delivered in a dark spot to take pictures, didn't notice a scratch on rim and had to pay 560€ for that.

He suggested the wheel was damaged straight away without hardly looking. He asked to see my video which clearly showed the damaged wheel and he countered with, how do I know which wheel this is? The joke was that the car did not have a single panel or wheel that was undamaged. He studied my video for around 3 minutes before accepting it was not new

And I was told to wash the car before return which I have never been asked to do before I do get this but it seemed to me this company sold the hire cheeply with the expectation of making a lot of money on the return

He kept threatening to cancel the booking if i didn't sign everything & he did, even though he refused to show me the details of the vehicle on his handheld device saying it was his private property & i couldn't touch it.

I also found the price very expensive and unexpected as was completely different to the one quoted on discover cars. When my payment didn’t immediately work they gave me the option to cancel the rental or purchase the coverage. The coverage was over 200% the original rental price INCLUDING the third party total coverage that I purchased

When my first card didn’t work, they refused to run in manually which would have overridden the need for a pin. We walked away without a rental car and lost the money we spent on third party total coverage.

Pros: Klass Wagen Faro is a scam company, pure and simple. Nothing to positive apart from free transfer back to the airport after I refused to be scammed, never to return to Klass Wagen!

Cons: Klass Wagen (Faro) is a SCAM company. Office miles away from the airport. We already had excess insurance but two Klaas Wagen employees claimed that my multiple credit cards (in name of Nigel C T*****, Nigel T*****, N T*****, N C T*****) were invalid according to their T&C's as my middle name was not fully spelt. They said they would overlook it if I paid an extra €170 for their insurance. I returned to airport and rented a way cheaper car with another company. Klaas Wagen SCAMMERS!

Cons: Even if it has a German name, Klass Wagen is a Romanian rental company. In Faro (PT), the staff is Brazilian. Nothing against foreign companies and staff but if they try to hide their Romanian origin, it's more trasparent if the customer is aware of it. Road assistance for any problem is not included, possibly in charge of the driver.

They essentially strong arm you in taking the insurance by making it clear that the deposit will be challenged if anything’s wrong with the car and it’s a messy process so if we don’t take the insurance on top of the fully covered insurance bought when checking out originally, you’ll be at risk of extra damage costs. The process was stressful given you arrive and hope you’ll have a stress free pick up as you’ve paid for all your costs up front.

Pros: The insurance that I bought from discover card was not accepted by the agency. They said I need to buy theirs in order for them to help us with any car issues.

Cons: It took forever to get the car, after all said and done we have to wait for them to wash the car and since we did not buy their insurance they said that any minor scratch will be debited from the $€2,400 deposit.

Cons: I was overcharged when I got there , the bus driver took 35 mins to come back collect me from airport because the first bus was packed , then it was a freefall to get on the bus because other people had came along and decided to try get on before me , there was no order what do ever , again I was overcharged at the desk by them ,

Pros: Igor Oliveira was very professional and dealt with the drop off efficiently

Cons: the car pick up experience was terrible. No organisation and poor communication. also it took well over an hour to finally collect our car

Pros: Really helpful when we booked the wrong dates accidentally. Really quick drop off and shuttle service back to the airport

Cons: Took a little while to collect the car (approx an hour) but guess it was just a busy time!

Pros: The return staff were anxious for a good review and were very helpful

Cons: The collection was extremely slow, with high pressure to buy extra insurance. The App they used for recording initial body damage was awful and no one would inspect the car with me. It left me feeling very worried indeed.

Cons: Employees spent too long explaining the service when I made it clear I understood everything and was happy with the choices I made. Car was all scratched and I had to spend time taking pictures of it in the dark.

Cons: Disgusting ..I had to call because their shuttle never arrived it then picked us up in the wrong loaction where they asked to wait... I booked a car for pick up at 13:30 ... At 14:45 they still made me wait while they attended other costumers who had arrived after me.. They would not apologies but instead some how blamed me saying I booked late and arrived late . They would not admit they had no car for me..I made them take me back to Airport and I ordered another car from different company.

Cons: Car battery was dead on first car so had to wait a little longer BUT they acted fast and glad they didn't send me home with the first car

Pros: Would never use them. Lease company charged extra £200 when I went there to collect the car.

Pros: The place was really busy the day I picked up the car but the staff were very good with communication and took the time to clearly go through everything.

Cons: The actual location of the rental cars is awkward to get to and very tight to move around in. Also ended up going with the added insurance which in hindsight I'd avoid the next time. Not happy about it not unhappy about it, just indifferent.

Pros: Klass Waggen's staff were extremely professional, explaining all details of the rental. The car provided was as described, in the original rental contract and at a competitive cost-effective price. There were no hard sell tactics, just hassle-free professionalism. The shuttle service from and to the airport was efficient and fast. Highly Recommended and will book with Klass Waggen again on my next trip to Portugal!

Cons: I was quite nervous about the possibility of problems with the supplier if there had been any signs of damage with the car and hence I decided to take their full insurance cover. I would have preferred to have made this choice with them (rather than the comparison website) at the point of booking which would have enabled me to make a more informed choice rather than having to do it at the pick-up point. This made me feel very wary and untrusting of the supplier, which need not have happened
