Cons: Klass Wagen have changed card providers and no longer accept UK MBNA Mastercard despite using this at least 5 times before with them, wouldn't accept my wifes credit card as it needed to be in my name. Thus ended up taking the full insurance with them at a cost of 250 euros. Totally unacceptable, avoid at all costs.

He suggested the wheel was damaged straight away without hardly looking. He asked to see my video which clearly showed the damaged wheel and he countered with, how do I know which wheel this is? The joke was that the car did not have a single panel or wheel that was undamaged. He studied my video for around 3 minutes before accepting it was not new

Cons: The Klass Wagen agent pushed to the limit of my patience to take out the additional insurance I may have done this if the initial hire of 20 euro didn’t change to 275 euros also I had a list of dire warnings of the additional cost of each damage item. And I was told to wash the car before return which I have never been asked to do before I do get this but it seemed to me this company sold the hire cheeply with the expectation of making a lot of money on the return

He kept threatening to cancel the booking if i didn't sign everything & he did, even though he refused to show me the details of the vehicle on his handheld device saying it was his private property & i couldn't touch it.

I also found the price very expensive and unexpected as was completely different to the one quoted on discover cars. When my payment didn’t immediately work they gave me the option to cancel the rental or purchase the coverage. The coverage was over 200% the original rental price INCLUDING the third party total coverage that I purchased

When my first card didn’t work, they refused to run in manually which would have overridden the need for a pin. Pros: Klass Wagen Faro is a scam company, pure and simple. Nothing to positive apart from free transfer back to the airport after I refused to be scammed, never to return to Klass Wagen!

We already had excess insurance but two Klaas Wagen employees claimed that my multiple credit cards (in name of Nigel C T*****, Nigel T*****, N T*****, N C T*****) were invalid according to their T&C's as my middle name was not fully spelt. They said they would overlook it if I paid an extra €170 for their insurance. I returned to airport and rented a way cheaper car with another company. Klaas Wagen SCAMMERS!

Cons: Even if it has a German name, Klass Wagen is a Romanian rental company. In Faro (PT), the staff is Brazilian. Nothing against foreign companies and staff but if they try to hide their Romanian origin, it's more trasparent if the customer is aware of it. Road assistance for any problem is not included, possibly in charge of the driver.

They essentially strong arm you in taking the insurance by making it clear that the deposit will be challenged if anything’s wrong with the car and it’s a messy process so if we don’t take the insurance on top of the fully covered insurance bought when checking out originally, you’ll be at risk of extra damage costs. The process was stressful given you arrive and hope you’ll have a stress free pick up as you’ve paid for all your costs up front.

Cons: Employees spent too long explaining the service when I made it clear I understood everything and was happy with the choices I made. Car was all scratched and I had to spend time taking pictures of it in the dark.

Cons: Disgusting ..I had to call because their shuttle never arrived it then picked us up in the wrong loaction where they asked to wait... I booked a car for pick up at 13:30 ... At 14:45 they still made me wait while they attended other costumers who had arrived after me.. They would not apologies but instead some how blamed me saying I booked late and arrived late . They would not admit they had no car for me..I made them take me back to Airport and I ordered another car from different company.

Cons: Car battery was dead on first car so had to wait a little longer BUT they acted fast and glad they didn't send me home with the first car

Pros: The place was really busy the day I picked up the car but the staff were very good with communication and took the time to clearly go through everything.

Cons: The actual location of the rental cars is awkward to get to and very tight to move around in. Also ended up going with the added insurance which in hindsight I'd avoid the next time. Not happy about it not unhappy about it, just indifferent.

Cons: The pick up took over 2 hours. Waiting around then the sales person pushing to purchase extra insurance.

Pros: We didn’t like anything, the time they took to get all the extra money from people took so long that it wasted so much of our holiday.

Cons: I have never had to pay extra ins on top of the full ins we’d already paid unless we pay 2700 more in deposit.

Pros: Klass Waggen's staff were extremely professional, explaining all details of the rental. The car provided was as described, in the original rental contract and at a competitive cost-effective price. There were no hard sell tactics, just hassle-free professionalism. The shuttle service from and to the airport was efficient and fast. Highly Recommended and will book with Klass Waggen again on my next trip to Portugal!

Cons: I was quite nervous about the possibility of problems with the supplier if there had been any signs of damage with the car and hence I decided to take their full insurance cover. I would have preferred to have made this choice with them (rather than the comparison website) at the point of booking which would have enabled me to make a more informed choice rather than having to do it at the pick-up point. This made me feel very wary and untrusting of the supplier, which need not have happened
