Cons: Apparently, you have only one hour after your picking up time to collect the car. Otherwise, you may not get one. We made it just in time so we were ok BUT if we were another 15 minutes, we may have had to argue with them or lose our deposit and pay more at their neighbours car hire. Many ppl mentioned that is their objective. I don’t know if that’s true.

Pros: The pick up went well and we were directed to the right desk and served immediately. We had trouble finding the desk only because we thought it was with the other rental companies. The price was really good but the car was very hard on the road so was uncomfortable to drive in and there was a crack in the windscreen which worried me.

Cons: The lady inspecting it at the end took ages and was angry about a few specs of sand in the car. She tried to make us feel bad for the fact they would have to clean it! She said she would let us off but next time she would charge us extra for the cleaning! This is madness as we were on holiday with 3 kids and visited beaches everyday! We brushed all the sand out before dropping it off. We have hired cars before with other companies and the drop off has been quick with no issues over sand.

The cost will be refunded one week after you have returned the car after they check if any tolls have been charged. I am not home a week yet .

I do understand the importance of wearing masks, but it wasn't a closed space and also: not everyone is familiar with local rules and practices so yelling at everyone instead of putting on a sign feels unwelcoming. And despite calling beforehand, we were also charged for 'late' pickup as our flight was delayed.
