Pros: Quickness of getting the car.

Cons: Clean car and people helpfulliiu

Pros: good value

Cons: couldn't lock car on early return

Pros: Nowe bardzo ładne samochody

Pros: Personal attention from a very friendly agent. Prisitine car with just 3600 kms. Seat Arona automatic is a very recommended model when you want to experience the wild west coast of Algarve, where the road condition sometimes are less than optimal. If you want to reach some of the most spectacular, peaceful and quiet beaches you have to steer away from the beaten paths and be ready for a few kilometers of gravel road. You want an SUV for this, trying these in a sedan puts you at risk to get stuck

Cons: Nothing significant. Just the instructions provided by the site discovercars.com are not 100% clear. The transfer to the pick-up location was short and easy after we found the right van at P$. We could have walked it easily, it just over 500m form the airport.

Pros: The people at Faro were really nice, friendly and professional. Ana is a lovely lady. There was no hassle or upselling. I will come back again

Cons: Nothing, I liked it all

Pros: Great staff, very helpful when had issue with wheel day before return and they have changed the car immediately to avoid any issues before flying out.

Cons: Bit hard to find actual price when searched online. Drop off location could be marked with company logo. However when collecting car staff was very good at explaining where to drop it off.

Pros: Close to airport. Good value for money. Friendly staff

Pros: Cost, quality of car, pickup and drop off service

Cons: Better signage to where to meet the minibus pickup…but now I know I know

Pros: Easy, quick, professional and friendly staff. Lovely clean car, no issues throughout the whole process.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Picked us up on time, and drop off was easy at the airport.

Cons: N/A

Pros: I would absolutely use this company again!

Pros: Profesdional, fast and cheap

Cons: Everythink

Pros: asiallinen ja ystävällinen

Pros: Staff were friendly and efficient.

Cons: Different names - contract had Ayto Rent V, office was AV Rentals ... all a bit confusing when putting into satnav for directions!

Pros: This was by far the easiest and most straightforward car hire I have done in the last 30 years of travelling. Car was literally brand new, pick up and drop off was easy. Really polite and friendly agent. Will definitely be recommending to a friend or family member

Pros: It's all in my comments above.

Cons: Same thing.

Pros: Spreken goed Engels

Cons: N.v.t

Pros: This was our 1st time using your service. It was seamless!!

Cons: The first car the satnav kept crashing, the second car had no oil and had to spend 36 euro getting oil.

Pros: It was so easy and relaxed

Cons: It was ok

Pros: The shuttle service too and from the airport was excellent and the customer service by the agent was top class

Cons: The car was top class and there were no hidden surprises

Pros: Efficient friendly service. I was not put under any pressure to buy unwanted extras.

Cons: A hand out information sheet about car return with map would be a useful addition,

Pros: Very efficient service

Pros: Price, reliability, customer service, condition of the car

Cons: All was great

Pros: Excellent prompt and courteous service .

Pros: Very efficient service. Had a small issue which was dealt with promptly. Would use this company again.

Pros: good service , quick

Cons: all was good this time, but last time on 21/5/24 dc7591592, i also was with discover cars & Discovery cars. The voucher clearly stated under car details "including airport surcharge €15" , but an extra €15 was then added to my bill , & I since complained to you at Discover cars re this, but in your reply to me, you ignored this comment. I had to pay an extra €15 that is not fair. this time, it was clearly included in the charge on the voucher and on screen when booking. You owe me €15.

Pros: Great staff, made the whole experience stress free.

Cons: I didn't understand about toll fees and coul have been offered to pay for tag when hiring the vehicle.

Pros: easy, efficient and fast

Cons: friendly and fast

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Pros: From the moment we were dropped off at the rental company just outside faro the staff were super efficient, polite and made everything seem really simple compared to my rental from somewhere else last year

Cons: We had an issue with one of the cars on the second week and the car was collected and swapped within 1hr absolutely brilliant service !! 5 star The drop of was so quick too we were in and out on our way back to the airport within 5 mins Altogether a fantastic service and business...highly recommended them

Pros: Very efficient.Met at airport after midnight and all smooth. No hard sell

Pros: Easy an uncomplicated

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Initially rep was not friendly and then understood friendly is better.

Cons: Right side mirror cracked, didn’t have any more automatics, said would call when a replacement automatic available as cracked mirror unsafe, Didn’t call?

Pros: Great staff, very helpful. Great price

Pros: Prompt and efficient service

Cons: Couldn't fault the level of service provided.

Pros: Very professional, friendly people.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: the customer service was excellent

Cons: just a couple of issues with the car itself - one bulb in the front headlamp indicator didn't work and the usb for the phone connection didn't work - so I couldn't play music thru the car but I also couldn't listen to the radio and charge my phone at the same time because the stereo would flip back and forth between radio and usb on it's own, so it was a bit annoying.

Pros: All good

Cons: All good

Pros: Pick up at the airport was right on time. Friendly staff. Pick up and drop off went fast and smooth. It was already the 3rd time we rented a car through Discover Cars at the car rental company Discovery Cars and never had any problems.

Pros: Everything

Cons: No complaints

Pros: Good value. Good quality car.

Cons: The 2000€ excess deposit and no clarity around what damage consists of. The existing damage shown at pickup was very minor stone chips on the paint. This is wear associated with driving in Portugal where stones can fly from other traffic. The return process was at 5 am and the keys were left in the car at the airport. There was no confirmation that the car was safely picked up. It could easily be stolen. Also no confirmation that my deposit has been released on my card. Poor communication oversl

Pros: Super company

Pros: Not a lot

Cons: Pick up point was hard to find. Driver pulled up and parked 20m away from.pick up sign and didn't think to come over. No help with cases...when we got to desk car was well below standard expected. A lot of damage to car and well below standard paid for. Told agent this and basically ignored me....I knew the rental price and was expecting some add ons....however with insurance and tole box.the price had tripled to close to 600 euros.... Once we got car, no instructions no directions....

Pros: Fair and competitive pricing; however, I have not received a final bill.

Cons: Agents were impatient and didn't explain the processes in depth

Pros: Easy and fast, very helpful

Pros: The staff were great.

Cons: The car had minor problems with the seat adjustment.

Pros: Thanks for waiting for our delayed flight at the airport, there was a short shuttle which we nearly missed due to the delay. We received the car we expected which is a first for me renting and pick up and drop off was very quick

Pros: The service agent was very sweet but clearly way, way overworked.

Cons: The car was awful. Full of dents prior to pick up, the accelerator had to be pressed at least 5 seconds before the car would start moving. Even seemingly ‘just hovering’ above the brake pedal would all but jam them on almost to a full stop. A really bad car and in all my many years renting a car it was by far the worst car I have ever rented.

Pros: Friendly didnt have to wait long efficient hand over and drop off

Cons: None

Pros: No one tried to push us on buying lots of add ons and also we had to drop the car early and doing that at a car park at the airport was so easy and saved us a shuttle bus with small children.

Pros: Good car for a good price!

Pros: Everyone was super friendly and helpful

Cons: No complaints at all highly recommend

Pros: friendly staff

Cons: airport charge

Pros: Very efficient.

Cons: Finding the way back after the rental.

Pros: Good service

Cons: The usb/bluetooth didnt work for music.

Pros: efficient, only 1 lady there at that time of night, she collected us and 2 others drove us back to car rental base & gave us the car.

Cons: we were charged as above for airport tax. we were also charged an out of hours charge for leaving the car back at 7.30am , when there was no one there to receive us at that hour & we were told to leave the car unattended in car park P1 & just leave keys in glove box. why were we charged for other peoples out of hours charge €20 when no-one was there to collect the car at that time?

Pros: Agent was very nice and easy to deal with.

Cons: A bit hard to find where the shuttle bus was but once I did it was very easy.

Cons: Would not book again using website, far better to deal with the staff at pick up. In future will just call site then arrange everything there.

Pros: Very good, smooth and friendly welcome. But what to do for those who cannot book online?

Cons: The distance between the airport and the rental officeThe designation 'office at the airport' appeared to be taken a bit too leniently..

Pros: Efficient courteous staff, cannot recommend highly enough

Cons: Would have preferred a Clio as expected, better visibility, more comfortable but the car supplied did the job

Pros: They didnt charge crazy prices for a carseat. As we needed 2 of those for our kids.

Cons: A small downside is the distance to the shuttle pick up place at P4. Probably airport policy tho.

Pros: Friendly and very efficient

Cons: Nothing. They were superb.

Pros: efficient and obliging staff

Pros: Easy pick-up

Cons: They had only enough gas for 60km instead of full. Needless yo say they got more gas back then I needednto

Pros: Ease of process collecting the car

Cons: Not having my deposit cancelled from my credit card after my rental ended. i had to wait another 5 days for some reason

Pros: A few scratches and marks which Dan pointed out before we drove off left me reassured they were and Honest agent.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: good cars n reps

Pros: No translation in French language

Pros: Cost. Short wait time for collection once at the rental

Cons: Had to wait a while at airport for transfer collection van to come

Pros: Very friendly staff..Especially Ana .No pushy insurance sale.

Cons: The car was upgraded for free. From booking to drop off was just straight forward and no hassle.

Pros: Good service, good car

Cons: Extra charge for returning the car out of working hours. We left the car at carpark with the key inside, without any agent to meet us according to direction given from the rental company.

Pros: Polite and friendly

Pros: Nothing! Rude and unfriendly staff!

Cons: Scam at the end where they lie about damages to the car was so unprofessional! Get pictures of every inch of your car as proof for when you drop off because they purposefully leave off damages with the walk around and you may miss little things after your long flight.

Pros: Nothing! Rude staff/employees, all of them!

Cons: Terrible experience! Complete disappointment!!!

Pros: Very affordable and very good to deal with. Location hard to find on way back but got there

Cons: One main issue i had was when we were unloading stuff from shuttle bus when we got there no one helped with bags and id 6 bags and 2 kids and a buggy. Also when i got the car and the 2 car seats i got no assistance putting seats in or helping with bags.

Cons: They tried to charge 15 Euros airport fee we weren't informed of.

Pros: Efficient service

Cons: Would have been better if I could have uploaded all my details such as driving licence etc in advance to save time

Pros: Efficient and friendly

Pros: The service was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Insatisfeito com tudo. Não alugo mais com vocês.

Cons: Mal atendimento, informações sem clareza e imprecisas, dificuldade de contactar agente, dificuldade de localizar o local de pegar o carro.

Pros: Car was well used at150k scrapes and bumps everywhere had had a hard life, gets me the way they take money of you for a dint but never repair it !

Pros: Price and service

Cons: The car was new and good condition but we felt it was smaller than what we had wanted to rent.

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Hidden costs: as regards the costs while renting a car in Portugal, along with what disclosed during the online car reservation, additional costs were presented in the local counter, apparently "standard", the unavoidable one being "airport tax" of 15 euros. It is recommended that such "standard" cost be revealed and disclosed accordingly during the online reservation.

Pros: Good very clean car

Cons: Should have more than a 90km amount of fuel in the car as I collected the car after 12.10 am. Better signage of pick up point. There is a unit at Faro which had the name discovery cars behind the desk agent were waited in a queue then found out it was nothing to do with discovery cars pick up point. 15€ is too much for a very short shuttle distance considering the current cost of car hire in Portugal twice the price of Spain

Pros: Pick up was waiting for us at the airport to take us to the car. Good instructions given to find them. No waiting around or queuing. The staff were fantastic and the price was excellent.

Pros: So straight forward and hassle free. That's the service you need after travelling This company was excellent

Cons: Had to wait 15 mins for the mini bus to come and pick us up.

Pros: Just the drop off was very fast but just because was in the office closing hours

Cons: Expensive, bus at the arrival, no American Express

Pros: Price, cleanliness and ease of drop off.

Cons: We were not aware that we had to call when we arrived at the signage for the company. However once we called someone was with us in 10 minutes

Pros: Quick and informative

Cons: Nil

Cons: Not all of the dings and dents were on the service sheet but no problem when returning the car

Pros: It was quick.

Cons: False advertising and we were charged for damage we didn’t make to a wheel alloy. £100 for a small scratch. We also collected the car in the pitch black so it would not have been visible to make on the sheet due to the light conditions.

Pros: Good service

Cons: Additional costs for travel to rental agent

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The extra charges were excessive

Pros: Does what is says on the tin

Cons: Waited 45 minutes in the scorching sun for the shuttle.

Pros: Friendly, efficient, helpful. Great value

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: good attention at desk.

Cons: difficult to get to pickup office. I reserved SUV and received smaller car. The car had a few small issues that needed attention: one sensor appeared to be failing and remote control had low battery

Pros: I still havnt had my deposit back even though the car was returned as agreed by the company in perfect condition. Was aggressively told it was my fault as i didnt take insurance out - if i had my deposit would come back instantly. Now back in the uk chasing my deposit. I remt cars often and never had such poor service on a return of a car. No aplogy and said you wnat your money back ring your bank. Not our problem. Awful.

Cons: I still havnt had my deposit back even though the car was returned as agreed by the company in perfect condition. Pros: Easy to find shuttle to rental area.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The agents did a great job with everything. Very happy with the experience

Cons: n/a

Pros: Good price compared to others

Cons: Was all good

Pros: Great service

Cons: Nothing

Cons: When I booked the car I was promised a Peugeot 2008 when I got to Faro the rep didn’t wanna know about the booking and said we don’t promise cars to anyone a bit annoyed as I had booked the car at least 6 months before departure and the reason I wanna the Peugeot was because we had 3large suitcases Very disappointed

Pros: I regularly rent from DC and they are far the best in this area. (Specially when I got a special rate at booking)

Cons: N/A

Pros: Efficient, perfect English no delay in transfer from the airport to collect the car and vice versa. Car very clean.

Cons: Cannot complain

Pros: Good fast service

Cons: Our card payment was declined a couple of times before it went through but that wasn’t due to Discovery cars

Pros: Very friendly staff

Cons: The fuel not being a full tank.

Cons: The car was showing several service warnings, oil change, clutch

Cons: The petroleum was an issue and this has happened with another company, car should be full on delivery and returned same way not @well it was 50% when you took it. This was poor

Pros: Drop off at end of holiday was quick and efficient.

Cons: Pick up was awful. We had to wait over 30 minutes for shuttle bus to arrive. In total it took nearly 75 minutes to complete the rental

Pros: Excellent price & service

Cons: Pick-up & drop-off not at the Airport

Pros: Tout

Cons: Le retard au rdv, attente sous le soleil.

Cons: The shuttle bus was not parked at the carpark. We waited and eventually we called the office

Pros: Very efficient and no delays

Pros: Great value and efficient service. Brilliant car

Pros: Good value and efficient

Pros: Everything was smooth and efficient. No hassle pick up and drop off

Cons: Everyone was helpful and kind.

Pros: Friendly and honest staff, very clean car, quick process for picking up, extending stay, drop-off.

Cons: It was perfect.

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: Bit of a walk from airport terminal but that's it

Pros: Very swift

Cons: Nothing, although I had reserved a Peugeot 3008 and the model was slightly smaller perhaps.

Pros: Everything was online and clear.

Cons: Drop of outside of opening hours, so no one is there to give feedback and confirmation if everything is ok. This gives a an uncertain feeling.

Pros: Making the rental process easy for us, and pricing was very competitive.

Cons: Nothing yet - we are still renting the car as we extended our rental period - hence the low score for "Time spent dropping of the car". I am sure it will also be a pleasant experience!

Pros: Good staff

Cons: A lot of hassle when late evening flight to faro

Pros: Quick, easy, good car, good value for money

Cons: Had to ring several times to get picked up from airport, though our flight was delayed.

Pros: Easy booking experience and lots of options

Pros: Speed

Cons: Car condition

Pros: Nice car that was in good condition for a good price. Very efficient collection.

Cons: Only minor issue was slight delay in shuttle from airport to rental office but no real problems

Pros: Pick up and drop off was efficient and professional. Very happy with small SUV, excellent condition. Cost was reasonable. Staff were friendly.

Cons: We paid for additional insurance on line to cover every eventuality but at the desk we were offered additional insurance of €10/day! and we’re told this was for ‘full’ cover, otherwise if we had a problem, our credit card would be charged and we would have to claim it back at some point. We didn’t budget for this cost, so we were worried and anxious all holiday. Great shame, I’m happy to pay for insurance, but would like to know cost when we book.

Cons: Car had lots of damage

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!

Cons: The windshield was heavily soiled on the inside. Smoke and grease deposits. Driving against the sun was really dangerous. First had to buy a windshield cleaner and clean the inside of the windshield. Returning the car with half-full tank is not very customer-oriented. A full tank would be more appropriate.

Pros: Nothing!

Cons: An erroneous charge from Discovery Cars on my credit card!?!?! I never even rented a car from this company and now I'm having to dispute a charge from them with my credit card company!

Pros: The swift and responsive staff and the short time waiting for pickup and drop off.

Cons: Finding the shuttle bus pick up point could be made a little clearer upon airport arrival.

Pros: Cost

Cons: Only location away from the airport but was only 2 minutes away so didn't affect us too much

Pros: Great personell. Would gladlynt rent again.

Cons: A little confusing that I use Discover to find me a rental and then it was Discovery that had the car. My friend went to Discovery only to find out his rental was elsewhere. Need to pay careful attention to voucher!!!

Cons: On my booking it stated Guarantee car model But when hot to rental company usual speech It’s a class booking !!!! And we don’t have that car anyway but after a long journey and kids in toe also 10pm at night what else can you do but accept the car they give uou. One of my booking didn’t show on my account and you didn’t fix that technical error for 3 weeks 😳 No contact numbers for you Very poor tbh

Pros: everything straigh forward

Cons: n/a

Pros: Thread

Cons: we ordered a peugeot 2006 online from April 2nd to April 9th I paid £40 online on the spot I was supposed to pay extra £160 with additional insurance. on the spot, it turned out that I was to pick up the car on April 9, showing the messages they were not interested in. They stated that they would make a correction and I would get a Seat. I had no other option for a very late hour, the children were tired. they wanted to charge 2500 euro deposit or 10 euro insurance per day of stay.

Pros: Verry good service

Cons: The only thing was car was missing liqiud for window cleaning and was lower the aspected for SUV
