Cons: When I went to the area to meet the driver I was first in the queue however when the driver arrived lots of men pushed in in front of me to get into the mini bus. The driver said that only I could get on however I said that I had my 3 year old son who I didn’t want left in the heat. When we arrived at the office to pick up the car I was first in the queue to be served and whilst being served the driver came and said that I should be last as I arrived last.

Cons: Forced me to pay €200 for "damage" that they were able to provide zero proof that I caused. Very rude, smug and unhelpful staff. Will never recommend them. Friends, family and I travel to the area quite frequently and I will never use EPI again.

Pros: I had a great experience with this car rental company. The whole process was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. It was clear that customer satisfaction was their priority — they didn’t try to push unnecessary extras, which I really appreciated. One thing that stood out was how flexible they were: no deposit was required, and I could pay with a debit card, which isn’t always the case with other rental companies. Everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Pros: The staff working at EPI Faro are really friendly and helpful. Picking up was no hassle and the car was in a really good conduction, both technical and how it looked. Besides that we had unfortunately a minor accident, but that was no problem and they handled it well.

Cons: All was good! Only 2 things I would improve to the car: it had no cruise control, that was a pity but not too bad. And second the windshield wipers were worn out, so when there was a bit rain or wanted to clean the windows, it was worse. Regularly replacement of windshield wipers is recommended.

The lady at the desk mentioned the damage and said U could take photos the next day .. there was no need to worry.. they checked the car on return with no issues..would definitely recommend EPI from faro airport..

Pros: The staff at the collection point gave me a choice of vehicle, something I have never had before. Gave me keys of two cars to check which my mobility scooter fit in the easiest.

Cons: In an emergency, the representatives were slow and ineffective to send me service, initially assuring me it would take no more than 45 minutes to send a tow truck and a taxi and taking over 4 hours. I had to sit in the street during this time as the air conditioning unit in the car was broken. On multiple occasions I was yelled at for expressing mild frustration with the long wait and was blamed for causing the breakdown of the car, despite the car also refusing to start earlier in the morning.

Cons: I arranged to drop off the car at Lisbon airport between 8:30 and 9am on Sunday morning. The guy meeting me did not arrive until 9 which was OK as I had plenty of time before my flight but I spent about 15 minutes calling all the 6 numbers at Faro and Lisbon trying to find out what was happening with no answers which was a little stressful!

The only one they could give me had done a lot of miles and had lots of bumps, dents and scratches.Then two minutes later they gave a newer car the same as I was having to other customers even though I had been there for over two hours.

EPI supplied a car that would not reverse up a hill and the drivers side window would not wind up consistently. They refused to deliver a replacement car instead requiring me to drive 3 hours round trip without a guarantee of a replacement that would operate as expected. The Algarve is very hilly, not reversing up a hill is dangerous here.

Pros: The service overall was good but the 35 euros that was charged for an early drop off was a rip-off (You must be aware of how many early flights there are ) the driver was rude and he just watched me load my cases on the van which at 74 years old was difficult. If he had done his job and arranged the luggage properly he could have fitted a family of 4 (who were waiting before us) in the vehicle instead he made a separate journey which made us all late checking in at the airport.

The woman who all of the issues and sorted all of the matters out after we were forced to rent for one day less due to airline schedule changes. Pros: Really please with communication as I was able to contact them on Whatsapp to let them know our flight was delayed. Other than that, as expected, quick, smooth and efficient pick-up and drop-off.

Cons: One big issue we did not notice until it started raining heavily: the windscreen wiper on the driver side seemed to be completely worn and was barely wiping any of the water away so I had to drive with limited visibility which luckily was all good in the end despite being dangerous. Please double check the wipers on all your cars before handing them out to customers, especially in a place where it rarely rains as they don't get used so much! Other than that, happy with EPI :)

Pros: We hired 2 cars, good value for money and the cars were fine for what we needed. Clean and basically in good condition, no problems with them.

Cons: Two things; the pick up arrangements at the airport aren't clearly signposted & we had quite a long wait on arrival. Although we paid the same price for 2 identical cars, one was significantly newer & in better condition overall. A slightly cheaper price for the older one would have been better.

Cons: We were told in an email from EPI that we could have 4 drivers. When we picked the car up, we were told 3 drivers was the maximum. When we mentioned the email, there was no apology at all for providing the wrong information to us. The reception team did not appear to care at all that the wrong information had been provided and simply blamed this on a colleague based at another office. Very poor customer care.

Pros: Really good service, I wanted to avoid a rental company that was not based in the airport terminal however it was very easy to get to the EPI office with a smooth pick-up from Faro airport. The car was brand new and of very good quality. The staff were easy to deal with and I like the way they didn't take a refundable deposit in advance in case of damage. It is very expensive to hire a car these days but EPI offered the best price and the quality was excellent. Would use again.

They are working to get a location but this would have been good to know.

Pros: Everything - service was fantastic, car was new, pick-up and drop-off were both excellent.

Pros: The drop back service was very efficient.

Cons: Their staff were extremely rude and blatantly lied about “government regulations” requiring them to charge a daily rental for the motorway toll tag. When challenged on this they refused to give us the rental unless we signed their toll waiver or pay this hidden charge up front. They also blamed discover cars for non disclosure of this charge.

Cons: When given the contract of hire to sign at the pick up desk the diagram of the positions of damage history ie scratches etc was not filled out.This was a worry because all the minor damages could be viewed as my doing on return of the car. When I queried this the guy said he has the master copy of damage in the office. If the co.claimed against me i would have no redress because i signed a false contract.

Pros: Although EPI provided excellent service I think the cost of having to drop the car off half an hour before the office opens is scandalous. This was something to be considered when renting from them in future

Pros: Friendly staff, easy pick-up and quick service. The car was clean new and a good size.

Cons: Their office offsite of the airport - last time I rented a car at faro from a different company the car and rep was waiting for me in the car park, although I understand this is how they make the rental cheaper.

Cons: They promised me a receipt by email for an additional payment, which has still not arrived after 10 days and many phone calls

Pros: The woman who helped us at the Faro EPI car rental agency was so kind and accommodating. We felt we were in great hands with her and the agency.

Cons: Nothing, everything was great.

Pros: Very polite staff, the car was impeccable and easy process on the pick-up and drop off.

Cons: everything was good, only the shuttle wasn't so easy to find.
