Pros: I got a higher standard car because the one I booked had been picked up by someone else before me. The car I got instead was brand new with barely 16 km’s of mileage.
Cons: He tries to claim your deposit as possible. While u pick up the car, he just causally looked for scratches. When you return it, he scanned the car as if he is buying a new car from vendor. Any minor scratch will be charge as if he needs to replace the whole part. Of course, he would probably not do the replacement as my rented car was full of scratches while I picked it up. In my case, one minor scratch (not very visible) on door and one windshield chip ( not sure if it is new or old)cost~£1000

Pros: They clarified any details on the rental voucher and they also were clear about the toll system on the local highways. They have a comfortable waiting area for other group members not involved in the service desk transaction.
Cons: It wasn't totally clear at the airport where we were to wait for their shuttle. This is more of an issue with the airport signage. The airport needs a rental car shuttle waiting area specifically with a sign displaying that it is so.

Cons: the location of the drop off in Lisbon was not provided to me, and it was not easy to locate on Google Maps, so we panicked when we couldn't find the location for drop-off and had a flight to catch

Pros: Easy,fast friendly and efficient, no hassles like some of the rental companies. We are regular users of car hire at Faro and this is the first time using OK rent a car. We will definitely use them again. They also gave us a brand new car to use.
Pros: The guy that picked us up from the airport (and checked the car over with us) was really helpful and the shuttle service was great. The car was very new ( but bigger than we'd asked for).
Cons: Even though we'd paid for extra damage cover the girl in the office insisted that we pay €1350 damage deposit - or we could pay €250 extra and have their own damage waiver (which we declined). We also paid €18 to be able to use the car on the paid roads which are electronically tagged to the car - we didn't use these roads at all (you can get about quite easily without doing so). The other thing to bear in mind is that your deposit is not returned straight away.

Cons: Added an extra charge that was not identified on pick up. Tried to charge me €300 for the cost of damage to a wheel rim wheel for a small scratch to a plastic hub cap. Eventually agreed that the damage was to a plastic hubcap and agreed a small charge.

Cons: While the basic price was good, their extras were ridiculously expensive compared to other local companies. I have rented many cars at Faro, every other company charges 20 Euros for the highway toll pass but 15 euros of that money goes towards paying the tolls. With OK, they charged 20 euros and I had to pay all the tolls on top of that. The fuel deposit was very expensive as well. I asked about the cross-border fee which is usually 20-30 euros with other companies, OK wanted 250 Euros!

Cons: The reason mentioned above additionnally I had to wait nearly 2 hours at the desk to receive the car as there were around 20 customers and only 2 desks open.

Cons: I already purchased insurance through the agency I rented the car from and the OK office tried to high pressure to acquire the same insurance through them. Used "scare" tactics to do this. They told me they didn't recognize the insurance that was acquired through the middle person. Not good! Also, made me feel like every little scratch would be scrutinized and charged, even on the tires!

Pros: Friendly service including a quick transfer from the airport. No hard sell, and gave us all of the information that we needed to get on our holiday quickly. Same at drop off, quick check of the car and we were on the bus back to the airport.
Pros: Their full insurance cover eliminated the need to inspect the car, which was nice. Their airport shuttle service was also perfect and they were very professional overall.
Cons: Their deposit is prohibitively high (1350€) on purpose. This excessive deposit surpasses most standard credit card limits with the intention to force customers to buy their full-cover insurance (in our case 75€ for only three days of rental). This is a devious business practice because it is only technically optional, not practically

Then I was shown the car and we went around the car marking off every single mark, every scrapes on alloys were marked and I was told any mark on these would cost €200 to €300. After the rep went back inside I scanned the car again and my daughter noticed a tiny dimple in the side of the car and I called the rep out and showed it to her before we left. She marked it on the sheet and told me, I had just saved €300.

Pros: Nous avons attendu 1h30 pour obtenir notre véhicule. Ils étaient entrain de le nettoyer à 8h du matin... la voiture est arrivée le tableau de bord plein de poussière. Plus de liquide pour nettoyer le pare-brise. La clim fonctionnait en permanence même si elle était éteinte (super si c'est est plein été en octobre c'est pas nécessaire, il fallait mettre le chauffage pour obtenir une température "normale". Pour info il faut payer 50€ si on dépose véhicule avant 7h du matin.

Cons: On arrival in the airport the shuttle that was supposed to be "waiting to collect us" was not there and we spent 45mins wandering around the airport seeking the non existent collection point. Once we arrived in the rental office we were told that we would need the full insurance package. We had purchased our own rental insurance however we were told that OK rental only accept their own insurance policy and that it would cost us an extra €80. We had more problems but this field is too small

A young driver fee of 10.00 EUR per day applies to drivers under the age of 26, with a maximum of 300.00 EUR per rental.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Driver licenses from the following country(ies): China will be accepted only if the translation is approved by the Consulate or Embassy.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
The following payment methods are accepted: Maestro, Cash, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card.
If the customer wishes to use Maestro, Visa debit card, MasterCard debit card, he/she will be required to purchase Super Insurance.
American Express is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
International one-way rentals are allowed when requested in advance and for an additional charge, the amount of which varies according to the location.
The purchase of the following insurance(s): Cross Border Pack is mandatory.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.
Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Delivery service costs from 20 EUR to 120 EUR, depending on the distance.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
