Cons: When I returned the car, the agent checked in it. All good. The girl driving the drop off shuttle was unprofessional and downright rude.

I had a small scratch to the hub cap and charge was over 200 Euros. I have excess cover but these seems extortionate when you can buy a new hub cap for 35 Euros. It was a cheap rental price but that hid a number of drawbacks.

Pros: I have used AirAuto for many years now and have always liked their service, competitive rates and ease of collecting my car and returning it.

Pros: Car was almost brand new and very clean. Drop off was very easy. I cleaned the car for them and filled the tank when only supposed to be 7/8 so I guess they were happy.

Cons: Pick up as usual for all the Faro companies is just needlessly slow. They know who is coming to pick the cars up and when. Surely it’s just a case of checking identity via passport, taking a deposit and then off you go. To stand in a queue in 85 degrees and wait for 45 mins to get seen is too long. Also the agent tries to sell added insurance etc pure scare tactics that take up way too much time. Should be 10 minutes max and you’ve got your car and are off on your holiday.

Cons: The company added extra unexpected charges. The opening hours are 8am-8pm if your flight is out this time they will charge you 50euros per outside the time pickup/drop off. This wasn't made Clear upon booking. Also to secure the hire they took 3000euros off my debit card as a deposit which I thought this was would just be a authorisation not a full charge/refund situation. The cost of the hire ended up higher than the "big names" (sixt,europcar,Avis,Etc) won't be using Airauto again.

Also by not clarifying how big a mark should be to be considered chargeable made us feel uneasy that we might have missed a tiny scratch and be responsible for it.

If you must, do not pay the extra cash for driving to Spain unless you know for sure you are going to Spain. If you are undecided, you can call back later. Ignore the agent who tries to force you to purchase on the spot. Also the airport pick up never showed up. We had to walk to their office.

Cons: Main downside was transit to and from airport and car rental location. There was supposed to be a shuttle every 10 minutes but in reality it took nearly half an hour for one to come. Altogether the transit (walk to pick-up location, waiting for van, ride to rental location) takes min. 40 mins so treavellers should budget time for this. Another thing was additional (mandatory) charge for a device that records toll road charges. For 9 days we were charged €19 euros

By the time we were brought to the airauto depot it had gone past 21.00 and they charged us €25 additional fee for late hours service. They said openly to us that they "do not believe that you waited that long". They also tried to charge us for the pre-payment that i had already paid with my credit card when i made the booking.

Pros: Airauto are just the best the service you receive is really friendly nothing is to much trouble they really believe in the customer satisfaction. I have used them 4 times now with no trouble at all and the cars are really good money for value.

Cons: I have nothing to say that I did not like about their service at all. The only thing I think that they should look at is the amount you have to pay if you take out their full insurance package. As I do you can take out insurance in the UK to cover all damage should it happen for about £25, for 10 days. I would sooner pay Airauto this money but their insurance works out about £15 per day. I guess there must be a reason that they cannot offer it at this low price?

Shuttle driver tried to tell me I would have to wait for next bus as it was full but I was 1st in the queue but failed to 'register' with him. It is his job to see who is first and take their details as I did not know the procedure. As it happened there was room and I refused to get off the bus but if I had to wait would have cancelled the booking
