Pros: Car in good condition and clean but was gas not diesel fuel
Cons: Hertz --Bunch of thieves . My rental was not available since I was 4 hours late . This means that when they tell you if don't show up you get billed anyway BS. I was told only vechicle available was a 139.38 euro upgrade . Then another charge for Valor Cond. (90 euros ?) so it ended up double the cost . When I went outside the lot was completely full mostly of the ones I had reserved . Will never us Hertz again nor will my staff . By the way we had two vechicles same bs story on the other one

Pros: Easy to use the rental facility. No problems. No pressure to add additional coverages.
Cons: There were some scratches on the car that I had to report to the Hertz team. They quickly took pictures and updated the vehicle pictures. Though this should have been done ahead of time.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.

Many highways in mainland Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of2.09 EUR day up to a maximum of 20.91 EUR rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period. You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
