Pros: The rep that processed our vehicle was very efficient and understanding. But, I'm still to discover why the car we 'reserved' wasn't available, or even a good option for that area.
Cons: The jury is still out on this decision.

Cons: Manager at the pick up was awful, he included lots of extra services even with no informing or asking, just saying that we are so lucky that now they include fuel charge for the full tank at the check in because this is a present to their clients (what??). He was just trying to cheat us. When he charged the full amount from my card he gave me paper to sign, and I saw there are services like road call service, full tank of fuel etc which made my check twice higher vs what I booked

Pros: Not much. Will not use again and will also make sure to use in travel YouTube vids to avoid certain companies and scamming tactics. Just charge what you say you’re going to charge. Why is that not ok? Why try and scam people ?
Cons: Hidden costs, trying to scam me into purchasing ‘full cover’ on top of the full cover. My bill at purchase online came to £261. The SIXT agent by attempted to charge me £990. Then gave me some bogus ‘they’ll fill the tank for me’ offer pointing out how good it was of them to do so, not underlining the fact, they charge for a full, even though I returned it with a 3/4 tank left, and then having the cheek to charge me €80 for the quarter tank. Disgraceful behaviour.
Pros: Easy to book car with English speaking staff
Cons: When I went to the wrong place to return the car I was met by a not so friendly female member of staff telling me that I’m in the wrong place , she make me feel like a naughty school boy. One other negative is to add an additional driver was the same price for the car.
Pros: They were friendly at pick up, but not at drop off after they found out we hadn't purchased insurance from Sixt because we had "full coverage" through DiscoverCars.
Cons: At return when they found out we only had insurance through DiscoverCars and not Sixt, they got a flash lite and looked under the car, washed the windshield to look for chips. We lost our $300 sec deposit because they found a tiny chip in windshield and scratches under bumper. We have yet to be reimbursed since we had "full coverage" insurance through DiscoverCars.
Pros: Eigenlijk niets als je plotseling 500 euro moet betalen
Cons: de 500 euro die wij meer hebben moeten betalen dan die wij bij Discover Cars hadden afgesproken

Cons: Added Fuel tank coverage without asking. It was removed at the start of the cover but I had to point it out to them. Wanted to charge €75 but only used €26 for the week

Cons: It looked like all the car hire offices. People waiting and waiting. Inefficient bureaucracy. Why fill in my name and address with pen and paper when I ordered online? I didn't get the car I ordered. English not good. Why can't I pick up the car myself? Waiting ...
Pros: dishonest service and staff
Cons: This rental agent not only overcharges you anytime they can (scratch on a door handle 350€ !) they also tried to charge you 7 days after you deliver the car saying that were damages on the front panel (which they inspect). after my total refusal of any damage they reduce 70% of those charges which I didnt accept because it was a lie. Finally they charge my credit card ignoring everything. Total dishonest company and staff

Pros: I’ve had a terrible customer experience bringing back the van we rented. They informed us a luggage cover was missing. Which was true. The issue was that it was never there at the first place. Since it was a big 9 seater van, we never considered it had to be there before we signed off on our rental agreement. We just put our luggage in and drove off. Returning the van this became a big stink. Most likely the persons working there are just doing there jobs, but it felt like a scam….
Cons: Faro staff definitely are not as friendly and professional as other stations

Pros: The agent saw that we are visiting country for 3 days. As well, agent asked to which city are we traveling (it been 40miles from car rent place). And charged us for a full tank of fuel. We hardly used 1/4 of it. Once we asked for refund or discount no one even listen for us
Pros: Really simple and straightforward. I needed to contact their customer service during my rental and they responded very quickly to resolve the query.

Pros: The quality and condition of the car, dropping off the car was really easy and without problems, the woman who took it from us was friendly and nice. Also they helped us in Porto to print our fly tickets and we could go to the airport by the SIXT transport, which leaves every 10-15 minutes. Good services!
Cons: In Faro we were surprised by the man who I spoke to in the office, he wanted to give us more services that we ordered before (bigger car, another insurance, etc etc), even though I repeated that we don't need it. It made really bad impression on me and it made me think that I will broke the car somewhere and will have to pay for every little scratch that somebody will did on that car...
Cons: They took extras that had not been discussed ie tolls, excess, they rejected my prepaid excess cover.
Pros: Ticket system when collecting from Faro very good. Lots of staff. Friendly and none of this waiver insurance business in the press at the moment. Drop-off quick and no quibbles.
Cons: Didn't get the car we ordered. Good substitute, but it was a compromise.
