Pros: Very happy with the vehicle. That is all.

Cons: My flight got delayed so I wasn’t going to be able to get the car. I sent my sister and her husband after calling the rental company to change the name. When they got there they weren’t going to give them the car because their flight had arrived a day earlier. A lot of hassle. They forced them to buy insurance or they wouldn’t give them the car. It was not at all the experience we were expecting. To add to this, very long process. There was a shuttle but it’s far so very inconvenient. Not great.

I kept telling her that I needed a USV and she said sorry it’s December. We don’t have cars available . I didn’t like that. I rented a USV for a reason. She also told me that in order to get the car I wanted I needed to wait . I asked her how long and she said might be a day .

Requested a bigger car landed with one that couldn’t even fit the whole family -landed up paying double.since discover wouldn’t answer their phone at 1130 pm and they’ll quickly blame the customer’s for their bad service.

Unfortunately discover cars was very misleading with all the necessary information about my rental. The 'Third Party' that was necessary for Florida State Law was not included in the price and thus there was an additional cost of over $115, which was approximately two-thirds of the cost of rental.

Cons: Delayed our trip about 1 1/2 hours as we waited 30 minutes for a shuttle, were shuttled off-site, waited in line to speak to someone at the desk, tracked down usually-not-required insurance details, and looked for a safe rental car. The initial car offered had dangerously bald tires, leaving no confidence of the maintenance and safety of any of the vehicles.

He also never mentioned there was a cash option on that toll road. Around us currently everything is toll by camera/pass. We spent $60 on the unlimited toll pass to avoid the $55 each way toll/company charge we were told we would get. Turns out the cash option was less than $10. Also found a fast food cup under a seat from a previous renter.

After two days, our vehicle was ready for pickup. They were not willing to meet up with us to switch vehicles. We also did not get some credit back for the amount of having a 5 seater for the two days instead of the mini van we originally booked.

I called Routes on Feb 8 to co firm licence plate and zip code on the ownership and that attendant put me on hold while on long distance for 20 minutes so I hung up and will have to pay the ridiculous 50 buck surcharge Thanks Matt Williamson

Pros: The desk agent during drop off was very friendly and was able to get me settled up quickly.

Cons: The desk agent during pick up seemed like he did not want to rent me the car because I am a local. He felt the need to keep pointing out all of the additional restrictions for local renters even though I told him I was aware of the additional deposit and insurance coverage. He did not accept my proof of insurance and made me call State Farm to get verbal confirmation that I had full and transferable coverage. Once everything was verified he was nicer, catching a dent that was not recorded.

Cons: Rental car broke down. I had to spend my own time and money to get the broken down car back to the rental office. I was late to an important meeting because the rental car wouldn't start. I had to pay to take an Uber service. Avoiding racking up Uber costs was precisely why I rented a car. The customer service agents were unhelpful and lacked authority to address my dilemma.

Pros: Professional courteous staff with efficient turnover at the car rental agency. Susan (we think that is her name) was fabulous in making the rental stress free. Very people oriented and friendly!

Cons: I had chose not to get the added insurance on vehicle. My policy would have covered any incidents. No where did it state that you needed copy of policy. Upon arriving at office with my wife and 2 younger children near midnight, I was asked for copy of insurance policy. I told rep that I do not have it but do know name of my insurance company and have FULL COVERAGE on both of my vehicles. Yet, I couldn't rent the vehicle without being RIPPED OFF for an add'l $21/day. Some savings! Wasn't cheaper

Pros: Routes was amazing. I had never heard of them before but I will never use anyone else in Orlando. I travel there numerous times a year. The agent who was there when I returned the car went above and beyond!

Cons: I felt like the customer service rep that helped me the night I arrived lacked personality.

Cons: I booked an suv or similar but was given a pick ip truck. Talked to the manager and waited 20 min and then was given a car that I reserved. I had my own insurance with all policy details but rep gave me a hrd time before accepting it.

Cons: Communication was not clear about the deposit in the email versus at the pick up desk. It appeared I was not the only person confused or having issues with this part of the rental.

Cons: This company was a nightmare from start to finish. We Waited 45 min for airport shuttle afterbeing told it runs every 15min. Waited over an hour to be helped after arriving at the office with only 1 person working the counter. Was told we could drop off the car after hours in the drop box, but when we called to check on where the drop box was located we were told there was no such thing we were at the time 4 hours away from the office that was closing in 45 min. Our flight left that same night.

Pros: It was simple, convenient, and a great value for the money.

Cons: It was inconvenient to meet the courtesy shuttle and the car had obviously been smoked in prior to my renting it. Air freshener had been liberally sprayed, but I'm very sensitive to cigarette smoke and it really bothered me after a day or so.

Pros: I loved that when returning the car, one employee saw that a few of us were waiting with our bags and sped up the process so we could all make it to the airport right away. It seemed like the normal representatives were all occupied.

Cons: My first time renting with them I got an amazing free upgrade and awesome service so I thought to book with them again. The second time the service was not great, the trip from the airport is too far for bad service and the vehicle I got was disgustingly dirty from the family who had it before. It smelt bad, and it was clear that the interior hadn't been cleaned AT ALL. There was spilled milk and crusty food from little kids all over the back and in the front cupholders. It was really gross!

Cons: The representative was over 20 minutes late in getting to work. She was extremely unfriendly and cold. This insurance requirement felt like a bait and switch and was extremely cost prohibitive. I had to call California at 5 in the morning and wake my wife to get a copy of my policy. Never had to do that with other rental agencies. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a rental agency.

Cons: a little confusion on the pickup based on the website instructions. It wasn't clear if the courtesy vehicle was "branded" or some form of shared pickup. Several people stopped and offered to take me to the site but for a fee. I was reasonably certain they were not what I wanted but I am sure some foreign travellers may have been enticed to use them. Also, if there was some reference to how often the shuttle ran...eg., approximately every 15-20 minutes from the top of the hour, etc.

Cons: On my return home I had a charge on my credit card for $296 form routes car rental I contacted them and they eventually replied saying it was for additional insurance which I never purchased or agreed to as I had brought my own car rental insurance At this point I informed my credit card company who investigated this charge and after 30 days refunded the money so on this note I would not recommend routes car rental due to trying to rob customers money

Then when it was my turn there was confusion over my prepaid insurance which added more time. What I saved in cost of rental I surely made up for in time spent. Drop off was a bit better but still took about 20 minutes. they just seemed way under staffed.

Missed my appointment bc I was leaving Agency at 11am and when I got in the car and started driving realized that they missed the cracked windshield!! Couldn’t go back as I was so late! So dangerous!

Cons: The shuttle took an hour picking us up from the airport which would have been fine if we were told that (or an estimate) when we initially called. It took 3 hours to get us into the car despite having a reservation and confirmation number ready. The car I reserved was not available. They did offer a free upgrade, but since I was going to be doing a lot of driving and parking in downtown areas, the larger "upgrade" was not ideal.

Pros: Anything i might have liked was ruined by them charging me an extra $87. I'll never use them again. I had to wait a long time to even get someone to the desk when I arrived at pick up. Once I finally was being helped, the guy was very nice however, I will say. But the extra fee i was charged for dropping the keys in the drop box is completely unfounded as I dropped them off bc there was no one around despite it being after their open time of 6am. Another person behind me had to do the same.

Cons: I was charged $87.86 after dropping off the car. I spoke with a customer service agent at the Orlando location who hung up on me when i called in. I emailed Routes customer service and never received a response. Booking number DC-578024 and confirmation number 6RCRDM0032314. I had a returning flight at 7am on Sat morning and returned the car just afte 6am and dropped the keys in the mailbox as no one was around. I was told I was charged for dropping in the mail box, which wasnt on any paperwork.

Since we waited so long for the shuttle, Routes canceled our reservation because we were not to the counter in time. One girl working the desk who was extremely rude. Another guy joined her after about another 30 minute wait at the counter. I would never recommend Routes to anyone. I took their shuttle back to the airport and found a different rental car that night!

Cons: When I tried to call in my car insurance information the next day as I was instructed to do by the initial agent, I ran into a road block named Ashley. First she said I could not just telephone her with the information as I was previously instructed to do, but I had to come in the rental facility in person and resign the contract noting that I would provide insurance through my own insurance company. Once there Ashley indicated that I needed to provide my insurance card. Very argumentative.

Pros: My experience was exceptional. I got a same day rental. After I arrived in Orlando I checked my email and received my confirmation which included instructions on where to find the shuttle van. It was there when I arrived. I picked up the car which was very clean and a pleasure to drive. The price was outstanding, it was just what I needed. The return was just as seamless. A perfect experience all around.

Cons: Where to start? I waited for the shuttle for 45 minutes until I was finally picked up. Once at the rental location, the staff was extremely surly and agonizingly slow. From the time I called to be picked up at the airport until I got in my car, almost 3 hours passed. This is completely unacceptable. Once I was finally at the counter, they tried to give me a Kia Forte when I booked a Carolla. I will never book Routes again, even though it was super cheap, my time is too valuable.

Cons: Several things: 1) They charged for a "website use charge" of $6.99 per day that was never mentioned when I made the reservation, 2) They required for proof of liability insurance (which is not standard and other companies don't require), and charged if you couldn't provide it. Luckily I was able to find my regular insurance information. 3) You had to call them for them to send the shuttle, which was also not mentioned at the time of making the reservation.

They were very disorganized, and they were using lists to check people in, but there was no sign to indicate that you should sign in.
