Optimo Rent at Orlando Airport

Cons: Charges wasn't clear from the beginning, end up paying almost triple what was disclosed, pick up was terrible.

Cons: I want to pick up my rental and it was no car available I wait for over 4 hours and it wasn't no car for me and I don't get my refund yet.

Pros: I liked the fact that they were quick to take me to the airpirt. Too quick. Didnt check over the car. Just charged me a $50 fee. Called and "no ones available" they rushed me so quick out of my rental car, I hope I didnt forget anything.

Cons: I waited 45 min longer after my flight at the airport because the driver of the bus I was supposed to be in told me no. Didnt look at his list or anything. I called 3 dif numbers and finally someone answered. What do ya know... The same bus driver. Get there and they want to charge me an additional $150.. Whatever. Signed up for it. Now, I get a charge of $50 and they wont even answer the phones. So, what should have cost me $200 ended up costing me over $400. What a joke.

Cons: I rented this car on line.When it was time to get picked up from airport they wouldn't answer the calls finally they answered it took them 2 hour o pick us up.Then when we got there the representative told us that Orlando was full of tolls and that we needed to purchase a toll insurance .One was 14.95 a day the next one was 19.00 a day for unlimited. He said I recommended the unlimited because when I come from my house go through 9 tollsThere was only 2 tolls we came across.Not helpful

Pros: You should not be allowed to rent cars. Your customer service is poor and not willing to help. You steal from me $653.26 and left my family at the airport. I was traveling with handicap people. This is not over yet. You are going to hear more from me.

Cons: Bait & Switch Tactic-forced me to purchase (which more than doubled my rental) for their insurance or i was left with no rental in a manufacturing district. This puts myself and other families in a very difficult and scary situation. Absolutely the worst experience i have ever had renting a vehicle in my 40 yrs renting cars. I was forced to pay the extra $235 or be stuck there. Feel free to contact me on this, as i will be submitting neg reviews and contacting the BBB later this week.

Pros: Surprise regarding insurance. Cost me lot more than quotes. When at rental office agent given me a choice to cancel the reservation, but by that time I was already 30 mins away from airport and getting last min reservations was not possible

Pros: Nothing. This is a scam company. I did not follow through with the rental but my friend who did received a car that broke down on her 2x over the course of 5 days.

Cons: Complete scam. They tell everyone they don't have sufficient insurance coverage and then try to bully you into paying more before you're allowed to rent. I walked away and I'm glad I did! My friend (who had half a million personal insurance) paid more and then they car she rented broke down 2x.

Cons: When we got there we were hit with a bunch of fees that I was unaware of. 16 dollars a day to rent the ez pass or receive a 25 fee for every toll we went through. If I knew this I would have went with another company. The address to drop off the car was confusing also. Would not use this company again.

However this wasn’t the case. They were extremely unhelpful and happy to take my money for a service I had payed for without providing the service.

Cons: Absolutely won't rent from Optimo again. I provided them my personal insurance card proviging insurance as well as my Chase Sapphite covering rental as well as liability insurance. They charged me 12-13 bucks per day as charge for not buying their insurance. I have been renting cars for last 20 years and had never paid a dime for insurance as my personal insurance or car insurance covered it. Horrible experience. I am disputing both the charges with the credit card company. Thanks.

They provide no documentation on their "mandatory" fees, which were not disclosed until the invoice before getting the keys. Their drop-off process was unprofessional-they provided no paperwork documenting the end of the transaction and had their driver take us to the airport in the same car, meaning I had no control over what happened to car afterwards.

Cons: 1 - The wait time spent at airport for optima. We waited almost 2 hours. First call lady answered and said 5 minutes (totally lied) it took almost 2 hours. We called multiple numbers NOBODY would answer us. 2 - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The car itself was clean and good condition. Need better organization. Prices are good but still need to organize better and not let customer wait for almost 2 hours at airport.

Was told i needed another $200insurance (even though my insurance covers all vehicles i drive), then an additional $200 security deposit, while im standing in the office. I was upset in a anxiety/panic attack kind of way. Solo female flew 5hrs from CA to FL and was 2hrs from my hotel and had no transportation. The staff was cold and spoke to me as if i was stupid. No shuttle to train. No bathroom. No compasion. Didnt speak to me at all on dropoff. RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried to cancel the reservation once I discovered the hours of operation because our flight left 4 hours before they opened. Was offered a credit for future rental as a refund. They met us in Ormond Beach to swap which was nice. Sun pass was sold to us for $325 no tolls requested cancel. Fighting for refund

I have never had to do that before but by the time we are there and they won't accept my documentation then I didn't have a choice but to pay for their insurance. It was just not something I have ever had to do before when renting a car. I have no idea why I paid the extra online then had to pay more when I got there.
