Pros: The agent was very welcoming and happy. The agent saved me a lot of money by recommending the Visit Toll Pass from the machine rather than selling me an expensive toll package.

Cons: Although the agent appeared very helpful, she kept saying that she would upgrade me for free and give me a car seat for free. I was surprised to see that these ‘free upgrades’ cost me $200!

Pros: Smooth check in , smooth return , then a surprise extra invoice for additional charges and automatic debit from credit card.

Cons: Have received an extra charge invoice , with a late fee , the car was brought back early. Claim an priv fee recovery fee. On further investigation they have a reputation for additional charges on arriving home. The link to contact them is in GERMAN , not much use to a UK client.

Pros: Super nice, friendly and helpful front staff. Helped discuss options like insurance and pre-fill but she wasn't pushy like most other car companies. I'd rent from sixt again for that reason alone.

Cons: Check in was a bit slow. There were 3 agents and each was occupied when I arrived but there was no line. Regardless, I spent a long time waiting. However, my agent was pretty quick and I'm sure it was the slow customers. Anyway, minor issues. I had a great experience

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax, Customer Facility Charge (CFC).
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Recovery Fee, Facility Charge, Vehicle License Fee, Energy Surcharge, Tourism levy.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees. You’ll be charged a service fee of 15.99 USD per day up to a maximum of 99.00 USD per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket.

A local renter is defined as a renter who is a resident of USA - Florida.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill).
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: American Express, Diners, Eurocard, JCB, Discover, Airplus, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.
All credit cards must be capable of the CHIP and PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.

From USA - Florida, only travel to USA - Alabama, USA - Connecticut, USA - Georgia, USA - Illinois, USA - Kentucky, USA - Louisiana, USA - Maine, USA - Maryland, USA - Massachusetts, USA - Minnesota, USA - Mississippi, USA - New Hampshire, USA - New Jersey, USA - New York, USA - North Carolina, USA - Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, USA, USA - South Carolina, USA - Tennessee, USA - Texas, USA - Vermont, USA - Virginia, USA - Washington DC, USA - West Virginia, USA - Wisconsin, USA - Delaware is allowed.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Toll pass / E-toll device.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty. In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 0 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
