Thrifty at Orlando Airport

Pros: Ease of online booking, excellent quality of vehicle, friendly staff

Pros: I got a very basic car. No apple car , no micro usb, not a good smell even it was after cleaning.

Pros: Pleasant and friendly on both pick up and drop off. All details clearly explained.

Pros: Wait in line for pickup was under 30 min. despite few people working. Once I got to desk was done in less than 5 min. No pressure tactics to get me to sign up for things I didn't need, so I paid the true price quoted when I reserved. Got to pick my own car. Return process was easy.

Cons: The online check in that you could access via a QR code in line was glitchy, but once I got to the desk enough info seemed to have saved that I got checked in under 5 minutes.

Pros: Quick and helpfull

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was we arrived at terminal C but had to collect our car at B and leave it back to B which was a nightmare when you've all the cases to sort out to terminal C

Cons: I waited in line for 1 hour and 10 minutes to pick up the car. The night before thanksgiving, the busiest travel day of the year, and they only had one person at the desk. They eventually upped that to three people, but they could have had many more people working there that night, as there were many empty stations.

Cons: Car was extremely dirty, garbage on the floor. Line to pick up ridiculously long and the kitsch in the garage so longer honors the Blue Chip skip the line

Pros: Dropping the car off was way more convenient than the 2 hour line to get the vehicle

Cons: I didn’t like the 2 hour wait in line after a flight with a crying baby nor the oil leaking crappy tiny rental that was suppose to fit 3 bags but didn’t fit 2 small ones

Pros: The service was great. Going through Orlando international airport and picked up the car after all was said, and done very quickly and efficiently.

Cons: I hadn’t received a confirmation via email, and when I tried to contact discovercars.com you couldn’t find a phone number. You had to go through an email with a confirmation number, which, obviously I didn’t have so I was stuck trying to find a way to communicate to this company. They should post a phone number that is easily accessible for people. After finding the phone number it became very easy. And I found the phone number on Google. Not on the website.

Pros: It was the worst experience I’ve ever had renting a car.

Cons: We never complain about anything. Normally just don’t use the service again. This was the worst experience ever. We waited an hour in the line to pick up our car. Once we picked it up, I was charged an extra $250 on top of what I already prepaid. When I asked the guy at the desk, he told me it was “airport fees”. Upon looking at my receipt, I was charged for all kinds of extras (insurances, road side assistance) that I didn’t want because I already purchased it through a third party, awful.

Cons: Language difficulty with Thrifty rental agent. He was very nice, but nearly impossible to understand.

Cons: Sales/upsell is lying/misleading about tolls coverage, gas top-up coverage, they upsell for PER-DAY cost but not end-of-trip summary, BEAWARE!!

Pros: Cars were fairly clean and the price was great.

Cons: When we arrived to the desk there were about 10 people infront of me and one agent, after we spent about 1 hour waiting to rent the car we then had to go across the street to pick up the car. When we got there we waited about 1 hour and a half because there was no cars. After receiving the car, the next day we kept it on about 2 hours so our baby can be in the AC for a little. After two hours the car started to vibrate I thought it was going to break down on us.

Cons: I explicitly told the counter agent I did not want their insurance (twice). Without my knowledge they then charged me $140 for their insurance

Cons: The car was not running great. I emailed and it was rejected. I then sent a message and was told I couldn’t exchange the vehicle because I had signed a contract. The brakes were scrapping, it was missing, the vehicle died multiple times, chugged when taking off, it was dirty upon getting in, it was a small suv and we used more gas than I do in my large suv, overall the vehicle sucked!!!

Cons: There was a two hour wait to be seen by a service agent when picking up the car. There was only two agents on the desk for the majority of our wait and they spent fairly long periods talking to one another, laughing and generally dawdling rather than serving customers. This was extremely frustrating to watch after a long flight.

Cons: When I first drove the car I thought there was something wrong with the steering on checking the tire pressure I found that the front tires were over inflated by 15psi which could have been really dangerous

Me dijeron que vaya a un punto a recoger la camioneta, lamentablemente habia mal estacionada una que me gusto y cuando sali, no era la que me correspondia, por lo que tuve que volver, luego nuevamente escogi otra camioneta y el cinturon de seguridad no funcionaba, por lo que tuve que volver a mover todas mis maletas, perdi aproximadamente 1hora con 15 minutos. Por otra parte luego de devolverla, no me devolvieron el deposito que habia realizado.

Cons: I had asked if they offered e-pass on the vehicles and they said yes but I never given a price nor did I say yes put this on the charge but it was done anyway and I was charged almost another 100 dollars. Also your staff at the counter are extremely shady with their tactics with add-on’s and don’t explain anything. Won’t be using Thrifty again. Probably should change the name to shady

Pros: They said they needed a credit card to process my rental. Even after I had paid thru Discover. I never got the rental I had paid for.

When I called your rep to cancel my reservation, I was told that my rental was booked through a third party and I had to call Germany to get a refund. It was the middle of the night over there. I couldn’t reach anyone. I was so upset.

Cons: I waited in line for 1 hour to pick up my car, when I did the man was very generous and upgraded us. After a day in the car we noticed more and more bugs in the car. Turns out they were little cockroaches that were nesting somewhere in that car. Our luggage was in that car and for all we knew we could have brought them into our AirBnb. We were so disgusted we took time out of our vacation to return the car for them to squeeze us in this small ass mid size vehicle. I got no money back
