Cons: The agent was condensing when I asked for more information regarding the necessity of adding on the toll package. I specifically asked if the toll booths accepted cash, and he told me no, which was incorrect. He told me that if I didn't buy the toll package then I would get a ticket each time I went through the toll plaza.

Cons: We had booked a large suv, Ford Explorer or similar, we had a long wait for the shuttle and when we got to the green motion rental depot, we were told they only had a smaller car for us , we had to get suitcases in to back seat with the children, as the trunk was too small, they told us we had no other option, only the could drop us back to the airport!! After a 9.5 hr flight and a 4 hr drive, we just wanted the car we had booked almost 2 months in advance, they also charged us the same rate ??

Pros: Returning of the vehicle was very efficient. The shuttle drivers were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Cons: Very rude, disrespectful agent. Will use forceful and fear tactics to upsel products - even tell untruths. Indicated that since I used a third party - they could not assist. Was terrible- will not rent a car from GreenMotion in Orlando again - perhaps in another city as I recognize it may have been this one agent. Not sure if upselling renters is part of remuneration - if it is, that policy should be changed.

Cons: Employee tried over and over to get me to pay $38 for toll transponder, telling me I couldn't just pay my tolls at the booth and would be facing fines, he lied to me. I paid $2.75 at the tollbooth same when I returned. Told me I needed to pay an extra $89 for Insurance even though I had my own courage. I get placed on hold after I explain why I'm calling, over a half hour time after time trying to find out why my credit card has been charged an extra $500.00 that I didn't authorize

Cons: Picked this company from a KAYAK search. Price looked good online with full insurance. Adding collision and property damage at the counter made the price not so attractive any more. Reserved a van, received SUV. Back door of SUV not working at all (at 19K miles). Front left turn signal not working. Strong smell of marijuana inside. No other vehicle on site to chose from at time of arrival. Returned next day (wasting 2 hrs in traffic) for swap: no other vehicle, again.

There was never a number I could call and someone actually answered.... not once! 5. Shuttle driver had a major attitude! 6. Pros: Almost nothing. There was only one counter agent on duty who handled the paperwork, retrieving the car, and performing the initial inspection with the customer. It took over an hour of waiting before we got our turn. When doing the paperwork for our rental we were informed that our insurance card was not acceptable and were forced to purchase the supplemental insurance even though we had sufficient insurance.

Cons: The fact I paid over a $100 more in person than online. The fact I was told I needed a toll pass because going to Disney World and Universal Studios I would have unavoidable tolls both ways and there'd be no option for cash which incur a $25 fine plus the toll. The reality was the only toll we had was to and from the rental car company. Never saw another toll in the 9 days we were there. Back of car was damaged so back up camera didn't work right, tire almost went flat, key fob had low battery

Pros: The return process was very easy.

Cons: When we arrived the front desk agent was less then accommodating. She was very impatient with us. We had never rented with a company who required proof of full coverage to waive insurance which is our fault but the front desk agent told me that I should read things before I sign them. When we got in there was a candy wrapper in the cup holder and dried vomit in the back seat. When I told the lady she said “sorry” but did give us a new car. Very unpleasant experience all together

Pros: The attendants were very nice and apologetic about the long wait. A small discount would have been nice especially since the car they located had no power locks or power windows.

Cons: We waited for hour and half for them to locate a vehicle when we had reserved one. I felt deceived in that I believed the car rental would take place on site at the airport making it easy to drop it back off for our early flight. We had to allow an extra hour for travel to rental site in the opposite direction and then to the airport.

Cons: The employees are harassers and liars! The agent that checked me in made a mistake which caused them to call me on my last day of vacation and they accused me of trying to steal the POS car they rented me. They tied me up on the phone for 45 min, lied, made false accusations and assumptions without even looking for facts. When I stood my ground and they finally looked up facts they realized they were in the wrong. I got a lame apology.

Cons: Customer service associate was very rude. Made me show him several documents for insurance coverage. Kept pushing additional services on me. Also he did not pull the car up for me, help with luggage, or explain the drop off process. Car had a scratch on the front bumper and I had to locate another associate to mark it on my pick up paperwork.

To extend the rental period of the car (my flight was changed due to weather) 6 hours cost me 25% of the cost of renting the car for 12 days. Cons: Forced us to pay $ 263.88 for insurance even though I declined and had my own proof of personal insurance. They said that I needed the detailed ( 7 page ) insurance report. I've never need it before and nobody I've talked to have ever needed it either. A definite rip off.

Pros: Reasonably priced and that they made sure when booking that a car would be available in the class that you reserved or let you know ahead of time if not. The the shuttle to and from the airport was convenient and fairly prompt.

Cons: The car had not been cleaned. The floor mats were dirty, there was something sticky sprayed over the center console and pieces of food between the seats and on the floor. It made me wonder if the car was also poorly maintained mechanically and could leave me stranded.

Cons: Tried to tack on unneeded insurance that would have tripled the rental price. When we asked to decline as we are covered through credit card they said no. Eventually proved that we were adequately covered (after 15 minutes of reading through our insurance info) they waived it. No assistance with this. They obviously make their profit off the rental extras that they strongarm people into.

Pros: Counter staff were polite and helpful.

Cons: Counter service and return process were fine, but the rental fee was unexpectedly high due to required purchase of rental car collision insurance. This made the total charge nearly DOUBLE what I expected to pay! The airport-based counter rental companies would have been easier AND a better value. Therefore, I will NOT rent again from Green Motion.

Pros: It took a half hour for the shuttle to arrive and an hour and a half at the desk. I had reserved a small car and upon arrival they put me in a giant suv which isn’t at all fuel efficient and I had to return it 2 minutes after driving it because it was so big It was like driving a Uhaul and made me uncomfortable and scared. The front desk had one car left and traded it out for the smaller car. I don’t understand why she didn’t do that in the first place until later when I returned it. It was 2019

Cons: It took forever at the rsv desk. She was nice, but It would save both the company & the client time if they put on their site a place to input their insurance info or copy of the card. I had to call progressive to get my info because I wasn’t aware that was needed until I arrived. This is after a red eye flight, wait time for the shuttle & car pickup issue which then was annoying. The staff were friendly and the place was clean.

Cons: I had issues with them before even picking up the vehicle. I had called days before just to clarify a question about the epass and after 45 minutes of them being rude the person put me on hold and never picked back up. When arriving to Orlando I waited another 45 minutes before the van even came. I thought we were stranded. It took 7 calls for someone to answer the phone to tell me someone was on the way. No apology nothing... Can sounded broke. Noone would listen to me. Highly dissatisfied.

Cons: Extremely rude person at check in who demanded not just insurance policy info, but a copy of my policy (my agent sent one via email). "Administration fee" charged for tolls is $50 for each toll (plus cost of toll), unless you buy express pass for $25 per day. The "hard sell" on these items resulted in 45 minutes to pick up vehicle.

Pros: Overall , they seem like a great company, with one exception. They had car the car ready & waiting for me. There was no line and the agent was very patient with me while I called my insurance company's after hours like to try to get the insurance resolved.

Cons: They have non-standard insurance requirements that add up to a TON of money. These were not communicated prominently enough up front. A deviation this big should have a prominent disclosure.

Pros: The process for picking up the car took WAY too long. It was rather astonishing how long it took them to check everyone in and send us on our way.

Cons: Took too much time to pick up the car. I'm not sure what the agent was typing into the computer the whole time. We had even rented from them the previous year and it still took forever. Other rental companies have the process streamlined to the point that you can walk up to a kiosk and check in and get your car.

Pros: My flight was delayed and I didn’t get in until 2am (supposed to be in at 9pm). There were not very many cars available without having to come back the later that morning to get something better. The representative was helpful and able to upgrade me to an available “better” car. Although the rep had a time with the customers before me, she made me feel welcomed.

Cons: It seemed like there were multiple flights delayed and there was only one representative and little in the way of usable/rentable vehicles. I waited almost an hour to get my rental due to the customers before me being a bit difficult and only one rep there.

The agent told me that they will cancel my service but in a few days, I saw a $160 charge on my credit card. The overall service looks like that they try to trick customers and other reviews confirm this.

Pros: I liked how they had a coffee shop in the place in the morning even though I didn't buy anything.

Cons: Service took far too long and at one point all representatives left the premises for at least 15 minutes so I was stuck waiting for somebody (after what was at least an hour process) to hand in my car inspection documents so I could leave. It was a bad experience, and the staff did not seem to care that much either.

Cons: The final rental price was five times higher than the internet price I was quoted. This was very upsetting. We were told it was because of the basic insurance coverage for around $45 that was required. I have never seen that with a major rental agency. Also, we were pressured to take the $25 Toll Package, which was completely unnecessary for a one-day rental. Overall I felt this was a rip-off and I will never use GreenMotion again and will probably go with one of the major brands from now on.
