Ace Rent a car at Orlando Airport

Pros: Everything went well: I didn't have to wait in a long line to get the car, the car was cheap and was a new car and I didn't have any problems at all.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was good.

Cons: I ordered and paid for Compact Crossover SUV. When I got there at 11:00 PM (exactly per my reservations) they only had a SubCompact Crossover SUV. I hate small low cars and have difficulty getting in and out. But at 11:00 at night there was no other place to go.

Pros: Nice vehicle in good shape.

Cons: Off airport location and slow van pickup.

Pros: Nothing. The car was old with 350k miles on it. Not clean and didn’t even have basic features.

Pros: Know the rules before you go, and everything goes smoothly. Know where the shuttle picks up. I arrived intending to decline insurance coverage, so I had a copy of my coverage sheet to show the agent in case it was requested. Fill the tank before returning. Know rules around tolls in FL and be prepared to pay the fees or avoid toll roads. Knowing all the above, I've had repeated positive experiences with Ace. The agents and shuttle drivers have been polite, timely, and respectful.

Pros: Careful when renting with them they don’t pay the tollways and then lie and said they don’t owe!! E-pass said they owed from last December

Cons: The price, hidden fees, not being able to use my own ez pass. Called with 3 days left on my rental reservation to ass sunpass and was getting charged a full week. Terrible will never use again. Only good thing was the actual vehicle.

Cons: I made the reservation and called the agency to let them know that it would be delayed because of my flight. But they still cancelled my reservation and I was left without a car. I had to pay double for another car.

Cons: This place is not located at the airport so waiting fir tge service was very long 30 min plus and then at the airport, everyone is trying to get into the shuttle but it doesn't fit so some people had to wait longer! Same for tge drop off, the wait for the shuttle was so long. If you have late or early flights or with children it is extremely inconvenient and exhausting.

Pros: This is off campus and I was concerned about getting to and from the airport but I never had to wait - a van was waiting for me both ways.

Cons: Being off campus I was concerned about timing but the it does bring the cost down significantly to rent this way. That it was efficient was a pleasant surprise.

Pros: Seamless transaction. Car was ready when i got there. spent less than 10mins to get the car. very impressed.

Cons: Everything was great. Cant really complain about anything.

Cons: It took about an hour to get picked up by the shuttle bus from the airport to get to rental facility.

Cons: Time taken for getting the car and horrible shuttle service from airport, with a todller in the cold had to wait more than an hr past mid night and adding up lot of miscellaneous charges.

Cons: I returned the car and the representative inspected the car; A return receipt was emailed to me right after. There was nothing wrong after the car inspection; no damage report was issued and I was on my way back home. The receipt showed that I was going to be refunded the $200 deposit and I was in fact refunded but right after the refund I was charged again $200 for allegedly a windshield damage. I've been trying to get a Supervisor on the phone but Ace keeps wasting my time - a Bunch of CROOKS!

Cons: The rental agent too aggressive to push customer for many other charged. The original booking and get the car out of the rental place was so much different. The gasoline tank not filling up in full but charged customer for not returning car with full tank of gasoline,

Cons: Fees and taxes are expensive Cheated by forcing us to pay more than $ we paid for original booking by stating Liability is REQUIRED in FL. Charges are very expensive My friend who booked got a crappy car, they wouldn’t swap until it broke down and they had to tow the car. Worst customer service . Not considerate, we all had kids and babies. The person didn’t think that having car not start will cause big trouble. We were lucky car broke down when we parked at home

Cons: Shuttle from airport was very slow to arrive

Cons: I got hit with a lot of unexpected and unexplained charges. Somehow declining all insurance I paid an additional $150 above the $150 I was expecting. The amount was close to my original rate so I though I was paying at the time of delivery. Nope, those were all extra charges. It was after midnight and I didn't realize it until I dropped the car off.

Pros: They helped me get the insurance/toll options in accordance to my needs.

Pros: The car was great. Easy to drop off within 5 min. Shuttle to the airport.

Cons: What you initially pay and what you eventually pay - is two different animals. Eventually it cost me 3 times more than my initial payment. A lot of hidden fees and mandatory insurance that you dont know about.

Cons: My flight was changed last minute by my airline. We arrived about 7 hours early for our rental. I tried to call and make arrangements for the time difference but got no answer or return call after leaving several messages. The agent gave me a song and dance about nothing being available with car visibly in the lot My only option was to upgrade to a luxury vehicle (Camry) and pay as much of a difference for 7 hours as for 9 days. I have no beef with Discover cars but will never use Ace again

Cons: They put us in the oldest vehicle they had and tried to sell us an upgrade. They were over an hour late picking us up from the airport. Also, the agent mentioned that the insurance we had was worthless.

Cons: Wasn’t sure about where to meet the shuttle bus. Tried calling for information to no avail. There was no phone number on the confirmation page.

Cons: Incomplete explanation of costs. Was asked to note any damage to the dark car at night with very little lighting. Have yet to receive a receipt or an accounting of expenses via e-mail as promised. Will not use ACE again.

Pros: We've used Ace multiple times and each time, they are very friendly and efficient in getting us our vehicle.

Cons: Nothing really. Shuttles could've come by more frequently, I guess? We waited about 20 minutes at the airport but it was 11:30 PM so I can't assume too many people would be working.

Cons: We picked up the car while it was still dark. We never expected the front two tires to be bald. We got the car on Wednesday morning. By Friday the car indicated low tire pressure. We put in the required air and drove to our next destination. The next morning the tires were low again. We took the car to the Tampa Ace location to exchange the car. At first they just wanted to put air in the tires. Once we advised them the tires were 30,000 mile tires and the car had over 32,000 miles on it the gav

Pros: The people who picked up and dropped off at the airport weren't bad but the rental agents weren't good.

Cons: It was a terrible expierience all around I was given a car that had low air in 1 tire and was basically given some bs story about it was just a sensor. At the end of the re tal i returned the car and received $222 in added fees I told them I did not want collision coverage and was charged it anyway. Terrible company to do business with cannot be trusted.

Cons: Couldn’t use my own Sunpass transponder. I was told the license plate was already registered with Sunpass by Ace. Return shuttle seating should be assigned when car is returned as shuttle only seats about 9 people and runs every15 minutes.

Pros: The rental shuttle was efficient and easy to find at the airport.

Cons: The car was mechanically unsound (tires were flat and the brakes were going out) and I had to wait over half an hour in line before I could get the car. Plus the car was not vacuumed (there was sand on the passenger seat).

Cons: Only one agent working upon car pickup. Had to wait well over an hour and a half to pick up the car. The lady who sat in her van to check paperwork upon leaving the parking lot didn’t speak English and couldn’t answer a simple question about the fast pass.

Pros: Lyna was my rental agent at Ace and she was an absolute doll!! She made the process super easy and explained what the requirements were. She has excellent customer service. She answered all my questions efficiently and really helped me in considering all options for my rental.

Pros: Like I stated previously, I had complications with check in and getting a vehicle. There was only 1 agent and about 6 people in line behind me. I felt rushed and questions weren’t answered appropriately upon checking in but I gave up bc my situation was holding up everyone else in line.

Cons: When we arrived to get our car they made us pay an extra $120 to put both my husband and I as drivers on the the car. I had rented and put my credit card on the car rental but my husband was going to be the driver. They said this was not allowed and they would not let us change credit cards or change drivers, they said it would cost $800 a day to rent the same car if we changed the reservation. The whole car rental for a week was only $450. So we had to pay to have a second driver. Total scam

I had a letter from my insurance company stating that I had coverage on my personal vehicles that would include a rental car. My credit card covers rental insurance. I WAS STILL FORCED TO PURCHASE INSURANCE AT ACE BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE AN INSURANCE CARD FROM ONE OF MY VEHICLES IN MY POSSESSION. SHADY!

Cons: I added an additional day to my rental time by calling few weeks prior and spoke about it at the time I picked up the car. Sure enough I started getting threatening messages that the car is seriously overdue and I must contact the representatives. 5 messages and a phone call! It was totally avoidable

Pros: Upon return of the car, an inspection of the car was done by personnel and gave me an immediate OK on the return condition. I would rather discuss in person if there is an issue before I leave the rental company lot.

Cons: No issues at all. Everyone was courteous and I did not experience any wait time on either the pickup or return. The shuttle to the rental lot was quick.

Pros: I would have given a higher score but I was quoted "Pay at pick-up 34.95 USD" for tolls but was charged $64.59 by ACE at the Orlando Airport pickup location.

Pros: Agent we finally got to was very calm and helpful, despite being clearly overloaded at nearly 11pm at night by the time we finally got a shuttle 1.5 hrs after arriving at airport's car renta agencyl shuttle stand.

Cons: Mixed experience with the actual underlying off-airport car rental agency. Unreliable shuttle service in evening hours and no one answers the phone at all, much less promptly; actual rental car we finally got wasn't as good as the make/model pictured and reasonably expected, as well as it wasn't cleaned well and reeked of smoke.
