Pros: The price. The cleanliness of the car.
Cons: We didn't fill the check-list with the car scratches neither at pickup nor at drop off. We had to record two videos just to be sure we wouldn't receive charges. I find it unfair to sell brands like Audi when the rental company doesn't even own such cars at its disposal. An Open Mokka is not an Audi A3.
Pros: I was little bit surprised that the car was not borrowed or taken back by the personal inspection of the staff. Otherwise everything is ok

Pros: Alessio was phenomenal, my car had been cancelled as my flight was over 2 hours late. At 11pm he was heading home and stayed around to sort me out with a car.

Cons: No signs to the rental desk, car wasn't even rented by Surprice but by a company called Auto-One also no sign or available directions, nobody could help because Surprice doesn't exist. Car hadn't been cleaned or inspected prior to our rental as indecated by the fact that the car was covered in dirt and washer bottle was empty, no member of staf to show where the car was parked, just given keys and told to find the car. No pack in the clove box to indicate who to call in the event of a breakdown.

Cons: It was extraordinarily difficult to find the office at the airport - no signs, no email directions, no one else knew where it was. The car had some significant scrapes on all sides, in addition to the large logos identifying the rental agency.
Pros: When I got to the desk, it was a quick turn around to receive the keys of the car. When I dropped back the car there was no hassle over damage or scratches . Normally in Catania other rental companies charge you a lot extra for very minor scratches.
Cons: Very hard to find the exact location as they seem to use another name . The car was well used (45000 km) and had 16 scratches on it and the car was parked in the furthest position away from the airport in contrast to all the other rental places. All there cars have signs on them saying (Rent me- nollegio mi) which in Catania can be a disadvantage as everyone knows that you are a tourist and tend to target those cars for theft
Pros: Went there at 7.30am and they opened at 8.15. I've made the full insurance and cost me 60 euros a day that was so expensive. when I booked the card that told 10 euro a day so my calculation was about 160 and not 310 euros.

Cons: Car was not clean, ex-renters personal belongings still in the car. Also the car had a fair bit of superficial damage and the staff just said take photos.

I had to make a decision how to return car and use drop box for key. 3 other people alwso upset as no one in office no signs nothing they just followed what I decided to do I spent almost 1 hour figureing out what to do and I just parked where I got the car and it was very dark at 6AM.

Cons: Slow service, important details not disclosed such as the car being a diesel, we ordered a mid size car but were given a large one. The worst was not getting help when the car broke down, they didn’t answer the phone for over an hour, they didn’t provide any assistance with getting a new rental, they told us to contact road service and then were angry that the car was towed. They were not helpful and were blaming us for the breakdown.

Cons: The rental company was very difficult to find. Some directions would have saved us an hour searching. Extremely long queue to check in , not enough staff. Car was rented from surprice which is a sub if autoone who are sub of discovercars!! Our excess purchase from discover was not recognised by autoone and very heavy pressure to buy more insurance. Cons: 1. A map with the rental office location would be very good, I've spent at least 30 minutes trying to locate them. 2. Insurance coverage - website information vs pick up information are conflicting.
Pros: Car was in a rather poor state, but was ok and clean. Except the issue that I was not allowed to read the documents I was signing, the dropoff went well.

Cons: weren’t welcoming, I stood for a few minutes before being served. surprice bullied me into paying €220 for insurance to cover everything other theft, said I’d be liable to pay €300 if I got a scratch.. if I didn’t take policy then I had to pay €1200 deposit.The staff wouldn’t accept documents showing enhanced cover, seemed more interested in competing with each other as to who could sell their own policies. Wasn’t explained were to drop off car on return, not shown the car controls. Poor service

Representative handling the pick-up had absolutely no idea about customer service and was apparently not trained for the tasks he was expected to perform. Cons: The service was terrible. I spent 3 hours there due to not having the appropriate car available fir me. In the end they gave me a car that should not have been rented out to anyone. When I brought the car back I was told I was very lucky nothing happened to us due to the car not working properly. I was made to pay for insurance there when I already purchased full coverage. It was a horrible experience. Everyone who rented a vehicle were upset due to the double insurance, 1200 euro deposit etc.
Cons: The partner company “surprice” has charged me 22euros upon delivery for “cleaning interior and exterior” of the car. It was in the contract but no one advised me when they delivered the car hoping, of course, to charge me in the end knowing that no one reads the contract… it’s bad faith.
Cons: Not easy to find at the airport (the signs are for AutoOne, not Surprice), unfriendly approach of the representatives, the final price for twice as much even though I had full coverage pre-booked. No windshield wipers fluid in the car. Very unpleasant experience, I will avoid AutoOne/Surprice rental in the future.
Pros: I worked with a really great guy - who was clear and helpful. My observation was that there was a lot of tension from customers around the Credit card deposit and 'extras' and so people were not behaving very well. I worked with the operative with respect and calm. It helped.
Cons: It was confusing to find the booking office. The path from the airport to the office was narrow at times, gravel at times which is not helpful when carrying a lot of baggage. The office was small and very hot despite air con. These are challenges the world over - so I don't make a big thing about it.

Then the woman told me that it was a big problem not to have a credit card but a debit card. In this way she told me a higher price. That was the moment when I left you and got my car from another agency. At 11pm I had no patience for your fantastic service.
Cons: It took more than an hour to be seen by the staff at collection. The car was dirty, both inside and out. There was damage to the car not noted on the sheet provided by Surprice. When I told them they said take photos and it would be sorted out on return. When I returned the car, I was told to Whatsapp the photos to Surprice otherwise I would be charged for the original damage, even though I showed them the photos. The Whatsapp number they gave me was incorrect, so unable to send photos.

When drop off the car I had to wait also more than 1 hour. And 1of 3 speaks English and I had to use a Google translate app to communicate with them.

Avoid this rentcar company and use any other, right in the airport. Have physical credit card, as Italy (or their rent car companies) is still in deep electronic history.

Pros: Like I mentioned above the information I was given about the office was incorrect, it was not at the airport and we had to wait a long time to be picked up from the airport which wasn't great but I do appreciate it was busy and you only had so many people to deal with rental but after traveling with three children and a elderly lady it wasn't great waiting a hour to be picked up to collect car and then it took around 1 hour 45 minutes after this to actually sign paperwork and get the car

Pros: The company accepted Amex for a hold, and the car was clean. Drop-off was also easy. The representative was friendly but clearly overworked as the sole person dealing with customers.

The company misrepresented the cars it had available on the website - we had booked 2 Audi A3s (or similar) and received a Fiat 500x & VW Golf (both had been priced at a cheaper rate online, but we did not receive any refund for the difference - the rep claimed they were 'similar cars'). The car was in terrible condition - the right wing mirror was severely damaged (which is dangerous on Italy's narrow roads).

We drove through the night from another city to leave the car at the agency before the flight , but there was no transfer from the agency to the terminal building (about 2.5 km away) although it was advertised that it's working 24/7 so we had to get a taxy.

Cons: They have no system whatsoever to keep track of the cars. They answer the phone while talking to you and leave you waiting. The cars were marked with strange numbers on the windshield and have a huge autoone logo as publicity. The place in the airport where the shuttle is supposed to pick you up is not marked. I waited 30mins and other people waited an hour. Never again!
