Pros: Some screech and defect not declared at the beginning of rent. We add together loosing 15 mins more

Pros: They tried to ripped me for additional insurance and when I refused, they did not do any help to me, even that I offered them 30 euros for extension for the day that I totally paid

Pros: Location and agents spoke English.

Cons: VERY hard upsell on extra insurance. They made you feel very vulnerable if you didn't take it. Very expensive, over an extra 300 euros. We passed, but many people opted for it as the agents really pushed it.

Cons: They are negligent. They have to provide a clear instruction for returning the car. I used a one-way rental; pick up in Cathania with a return to Palermo. They gave me a brochure for returning into Cathania. There were absolutely no information about the operation hours of the airport shuttle service, only about the office. The phone number of the shuttle provided at the webpage did not work. The return station is a closed area and there was a pen-written number for the shuttle.

Pros: The staff from Record Go were great and the vehicle did its purpose.

Cons: We didn’t rent the car in the end because they are not accepting driver licenses from Moldova

I had to pay 134 euros (118 pounds) upon arrival for a 6-day economy class car rental. I bought insurance in advance for 51 pounds. In the contract, they had to reserve 1200 euros (1020 pounds) from the card. When I arrived, they told me that they could give me a car but I had to pay a reservation of 3500 euros, I did not have this money. I was late

Cons: The agent strongly recommended that we get full insurance from his company and lied that if we had full insurance from Discovercars, Record-go would not help us in the event of an accident. He also lied about fuel prices in order to offer a more expensive car. He didn't go to inspect the car together, he didn't want to record the scratches, mockingly replied that "after all, you have full insurance".

Cons: We were given a car with a tyre that had a bubble and needed immediate replacement. Having checked the images we took of the car when we picked it up, we found it was there from the start, We only noticed the issue when we were 150 miles from Palermo in the hills. We rang the Record Go office and they pretty much told us we were on our own. They told us that despite taking out the additional insurance cover, we did not take out the breakdown cover. Bullshit!

Pros: Drop off at Palermo was efficient.

Cons: At pick up we had to wait over an hour. Then, we were told that they didn’t have our car so we would have to pay for an upgrade. Then they said Discover cars had booked it wrong so we had to pay even more. Then they charged us twice by accident, so we had to get a refund, but they refunded us significantly less than the duplicate charge.

Pros: Was easy to find. The car was ok.

Cons: The employee was not kind and friendly. She was trying to sell as more as possible. First additional insurance then a bigger car. We were waiting additional 30min for the car. She was not clear when she explains what I am charged for and the conditions for renting.

Pros: They were flexible with my circumstances and were willing to compromise to ease the process

Cons: The information stated on discover cars is not accurate with the record go terms and conditions and rental conditions. You don’t know 100% what you’re getting yourself into and how much more you’ll have to pay at the desk even after fully paying for the car and the insurance through discover cars

Cons: It took a. Hour to be served when collecting the car. There was then too much clocking on the mouse and typing on the keyboard.... Not sure what the agent was doing. You already had all my information. You could shave 20 minutes off pick up by making you systems more efficient.

Pros: Proximity of car pickup to the airport, new car, easy key drop off, fast release od the card deposit.

Cons: Extremely long car pickup (almost 2 hour wait in line), poor customer service, coercion to buy additional insurance coverage (road assistance as minimum) despite having paid for full coverage insurance up front.

Pros: Car was a bit dirty inside. Water spillage marks on the driver door. The agent- new staff- overlooked massive scratches on the driver side. Additionally - They make you feel stressed and afraid of Sicily, when telling how bad it is when it comes to car robbery. They do it to encourage you to buy full protection cover from them. It takes away all your joy from being on holiday.

Cons: Easy to collect and drop off car. Dropping of staff very efficient and reasonable.

Pros: The car was quite new, with just 10k km. The agent was kind and helpful. The location is convenient, just a walking distance from the terminal. The car I was offered matched my order.

Cons: Only 1 minus- the car wasn’t clean on the outside. Considering the very low price of this rental- it wasn’t such a big deal.

Pros: The rental agents, the extras, the super CDW, overall it was a good deal.

Cons: Because of the many car part theft, we didn’t get the aerial as a prevention not to steal by the thieves.

Pros: Friendly and reliable agents, who try to accommodate your requests as best as they can. The car was in good order but needs to be thoroughly checked before leaving the rental area to avoid potential discussions on scratches when you return it.

Cons: The company doesn’t allow extension of contract when booked through 3rd party service provider. If you fall sick you need to return the car anyway on the planned date.

Cons: Having paid what I thought was the excess on the car hire charge, I arrived and was charged an extra €200+ for the insurance that I’d already paid for. It was extortion in its purest form!

Pros: The team were super helpful and rebooked me into a vehicle, despite DiscoverCars having cancelled my booking without warning or communication.

Cons: Because of the crappy communication by DiscoverCars, my booking no longer existed in the system which meant we needed to start from scratch. This is not RecordGo's fault!

Cons: I was supposed to rent a JEEP RENEGADE (or equivalent), but I was given a DR 4.0, that is from a much lower category in all senses because the DR engine is soo slow to be dangerous (overtaking takes ages) and the brand status (JEEP- V - DR) is not even remotely comparable. Sufficient to say that a a new JEEP RENEGATE costs Euro 42,000, that is more than two times the price of a new DR 4.0 (E19,900). Very/Very disappointed.
