Locauto at Catania Fontanarossa Airport

Pros: Locauto offered me a great experience! The staff was great, the car was perfect for my needs.

Cons: I had a great experience with Locauto, everything was perfect.

Pros: Quick pick up procedure, reliable car, agent was friendly and helpfull with information.

Pros: I like the empty fuel tank bring back option, becaue if you can bring it back with nearly empty tank you can save some money on the fuel. Also the 7/24 service is good and only cost for 5 € / day. The drop-off was realy easy and worked fast with them. Everything was correct and as I expected.

Cons: I had no problem during the rental.

Pros: Very pleasant staff (Alexsia (sorry I may not have spelt that correctly and Jean Luca) who dealt with everything well and upfront about charges etc They did not try to sell me something I didn’t want eg extra insurance. Good returns information meant returning the car was straightforward- finding the location, staff ready to check in car returns

Cons: It was emphasised we had to return the car by 1130. Yet, it was 1155 by the time we drove off the Locauto car park. No enough assistance on how to find your office for drop off. Wasted a lot of time, possibly more than 45 minutes!

Pros: Very convenient and fast pickup/dropoff in airport parking lot, no extra driving anywhere. Also great that there is no deposit and bookings can be done with debit card.

Pros: We opted to pay for an upgrade on collection as the model of the car we booked wasn't available and we were offered an alternative which we didn't like. The car was very clean, and the handover process was clear. The drop off speed was super efficient

Cons: Collection process was poor - the sign for the pick up office was not clear. It's not close to the terminal. We waited for a long time as there was only one person dealing with a queue of customers waiting to collect their cars.

Cons: I booked VW TRoc and got Toyota Yaris Cross - not the same class vehicle in my book.

Pros: The collection process was very quick and included an inspection of the vehicle's condition in my presence, which gave me confidence in the company's approach. The same happened during the return — everything was very quick, and the vehicle inspection was carried out in my presence.

Cons: I booked on line for a T Roc automatic - we went out to pick the car up and whilst there was a T Roc there I was told it would be 8 euros a day more as it was an automatic and was given a seat automatic with the words - it’s a T Roc or equivalent - why when I chose a at -Roc auto when I booked wasn’t I given one when one was clearly available - on dropping off the car I took this up with the agent who said the TRoc was a higher grade - I repeated I booked a TRoc but he just shrugged

Cons: I had booked an SUV, they wanted to give me a Ford Focus, calling me an upgrade

Pros: During the checkout process, I was compelled to sign an acknowledgment of a pre-existing damaged driver's side key lock. The demeanor of the office staff led me to believe that they were aware of this issue at the time of check-in but concealed it with the intention of repeatedly overcharging customers. Subsequently, I was informed that I would be held liable for an additional damage that was discovered after the checkout process had been completed and in my absence.

Cons: This raises concerns that the crew could potentially fabricate repairs and charge customers for them without providing any verifiable documentation, such as an invoice from an authorized car service or photographic evidence of the alleged damage.

Pros: Everything was smooth, fast and professional. Great car and friendly staff. Clear and easy-to-follow instructions.

Pros: This was my second time renting from LOCAUTO this year. It was another very good experience. The people from LOCAUTO are very good professionals and the cars are top cars and very clean. Thank you!!!

Pros: Locauto was great! The pick up office was inside the airport. The documents were done very efficient. Marco was very helpful. We upgraded the car on spot for a small money difference. The Seat Leon we received was almost new (5000 km), very clean, without any damage. It was easy to drive it. We were very satisfied. The dropp off was outside working hours, but it was very easy as we were instructed to park the car in the same place we took it from and leave the key in their drop off box.

Cons: Two things: - the extra money charged for the return in the different town, which is OK in general, but it should be noticed in advance, when you book the car online, not at the moment you get the key, it’s quite late. - the old childseat - very poor condition, without isofix, it’s very irresponsible. We very truly horrified and refused to pay for that. Fortunately, we brought our booster seat with us. This should be changed for the future. Your concurrents have better standards in this regard

Pros: Excellent quality car for a family of 5 plus luggage. Car was ready on arrival at the airport, and we even received an upgrade. Hassle free return at a different location, even when we returned the car a few hours earlier due to bad weather. All optional insurances were explained at the time of rental. Agents spoke fluent English at both the pick-up and drop-off locations.

Cons: Only negative comment is that the car was not received with a full tank of fuel, despite us being told that it was full. The fuel gauge was apparently faulty, but we were able to fill the tank completely when we refueled the car ourselves.

Cons: Worst baby car seat, car seats are vital for keeping little kids safe in vehicles, and that one wasn't secure at all. Really cheap, the straps proved to be a real challenge. They didn’t tighten well, and I had to fight with them constantly, which is not at all safe for a toddler at all.

Cons: Only bad experience was to check out. The guy in the office didnt want to check the car because it was « too early » (7am). When my boyfriend asked another guy, in italian, it was no longer too early and we could get the car checked. Speaking the local language remains an asset to avoid bad surprises.

Pros: Literally everything. Fast service, easy check-in and check-out, rules explained clearly. Extra insurance was offered, but not forced to buy. Car was in very good condition, clean, equipped with accessories required by law and tire pump.

Cons: They open at 8 and close at 20.00. If your flight is early you leave the car in a car park without any inspection done in front of you and put the keys into a special box. Fortunately in my case everything went well as I didn't damage the car and so the deposit was returned. But in the papers that you sign there is inf that the company has access to your debit card for 180 days after returning the car in case some damage of the car became visible afterwards. Actually I think it is a bit unfair.

Cons: My vehicle had its own GPS which I did not realize. The agent rented an additional portable GPS unit to me for $9.00+ per day which was not needed. It was a total waste of money. I also did not care for the fact that when I inspected the car upon picking it up, I had to inspect it in a garage that was not well lit. Its too easy to miss something without the proper lighting. The inspection should be made outside of the garage.

Pros: Położenie biura na terenie terminala, bez kolejki w naszym wypadku, sprawna i konkretna obsługa. Auto miało dokładny rysunek z zaznaczonymi zarysowaniami. Przy oddaniu agent szybko sprawdził czy coś się zmieniło a trwało to na prawdę chwilę.

Cons: 500 Euro depozytu to sporo bo można je wydać na miejscu ale wróciły na kartę w ciągu 24h po oddaniu auta.
