Cons: Typical up selling of extra insurance and breakdown cover by agent. Only interested in getting credit card details to add extra costs. He basically said any extra cover taken out with Discover Cars was irrelevant which was a worry as we had paid top money to insure we were ok .

Cons: Two things: - the extra money charged for the return in the different town, which is OK in general, but it should be noticed in advance, when you book the car online, not at the moment you get the key, it’s quite late. - the old childseat - very poor condition, without isofix, it’s very irresponsible. We very truly horrified and refused to pay for that. Fortunately, we brought our booster seat with us. This should be changed for the future. Your concurrents have better standards in this regard

Pros: Both staff at picking desk and the staff at droping point were very supportive and provided additional informations for some unclarities that we had for Taormina and Catania parkings and overall questions regarding driving through the cities.

Cons: Charged EUR 440 for minor scratches on wheel rims.

Pros: Excellent quality car for a family of 5 plus luggage. Car was ready on arrival at the airport, and we even received an upgrade. Hassle free return at a different location, even when we returned the car a few hours earlier due to bad weather. All optional insurances were explained at the time of rental. Agents spoke fluent English at both the pick-up and drop-off locations.

Cons: Only negative comment is that the car was not received with a full tank of fuel, despite us being told that it was full. The fuel gauge was apparently faulty, but we were able to fill the tank completely when we refueled the car ourselves.

Cons: Worst baby car seat, car seats are vital for keeping little kids safe in vehicles, and that one wasn't secure at all. Really cheap, the straps proved to be a real challenge. They didn’t tighten well, and I had to fight with them constantly, which is not at all safe for a toddler at all.

Pros: Very positive experience with Locauto. Nice, clean car, in very good condition.

Cons: We didn't receive the car we have booked, but a similar one. It proved to be as good as the one we had booked.

Pros: my car was opened by thieves and I fell prey to a theft of all my suitcases, the locauto concern charged me 155 euros when I have full insurance

Pros: The professionalism and helpfulness of the Locauto staff is on another level. Amazing experience, they took their time to show us preexisting damages to the car and answer all our questions. After seeing we had full insurance with discovercars they did not push anything extra. Quick process of picking up and dropping off the car. 10/10 would recommend.

Pros: We got upgraded with a bigger car (had booked a mini), and brand new since they ran out of the model we had requested. It was a good news.

Cons: Only bad experience was to check out. The guy in the office didnt want to check the car because it was « too early » (7am). When my boyfriend asked another guy, in italian, it was no longer too early and we could get the car checked. Speaking the local language remains an asset to avoid bad surprises.

Pros: Literally everything. Fast service, easy check-in and check-out, rules explained clearly. Extra insurance was offered, but not forced to buy. Car was in very good condition, clean, equipped with accessories required by law and tire pump.

Pros: Good condition of the car, friendly staff, possibility to use a debit card.

Cons: They open at 8 and close at 20.00. If your flight is early you leave the car in a car park without any inspection done in front of you and put the keys into a special box. Fortunately in my case everything went well as I didn't damage the car and so the deposit was returned. But in the papers that you sign there is inf that the company has access to your debit card for 180 days after returning the car in case some damage of the car became visible afterwards. Actually I think it is a bit unfair.

Cons: My vehicle had its own GPS which I did not realize. The agent rented an additional portable GPS unit to me for $9.00+ per day which was not needed. It was a total waste of money. I also did not care for the fact that when I inspected the car upon picking it up, I had to inspect it in a garage that was not well lit. Its too easy to miss something without the proper lighting. The inspection should be made outside of the garage.

Pros: Położenie biura na terenie terminala, bez kolejki w naszym wypadku, sprawna i konkretna obsługa. Auto miało dokładny rysunek z zaznaczonymi zarysowaniami. Przy oddaniu agent szybko sprawdził czy coś się zmieniło a trwało to na prawdę chwilę.

Cons: 500 Euro depozytu to sporo bo można je wydać na miejscu ale wróciły na kartę w ciągu 24h po oddaniu auta.
