Cons: The fact that I needed to wash the car, otherwise I need to pay a fee. this was not in the renting manifesto from the 3rd party company. No windshield liquid. No one in the parking lot to drop of the car, I needed to walk with the baggage's in and out to find someone to look at the car.

Cons: Tried to charge additionally 526 Euros for insurance (car for 11 days cost 299 via Discovery car)

Cons: I have to admit I did arrive an hour before reservation, but I really had to wait more than an hour before they helpen me, because they told me the car wasn't ready or had not even arrived?? The 2 people sitting there were clearly not having their best day. The third person attending me in the end was very nice, though. Yet, I had to pay extra for carwash (??!!) AND I got a downgrade of the car I paid for (no powerful motor at all) + had to film the car and damage by pick up and drop off

Cons: When pick up they insist for add insurance with usual intimidation what if.. They also require the car to be in "rentable" condition upon returning it.Inside and outside!! You can pay the them in advance €15 or €25 when returning. Just for carwash. Very strange requirement. Just imagine you a traveling with lots of luggage and kids. Have to unload it,clean it and then load it again. Very convenient,isn't it?

Pros: Agents was helpful, they have good command of English, brief all important info, and ready to answer all questions. The car category I received was the same as I booked. The vehicle was in a very good condition, clean inside & outside. (But fortunarely there is no obligation to wash the car when returning:)) To be on the safe side, I took photos at the start and at the end of rental period. Right after returning the car: I received the no-damage report via email. Cash depo received within 48 h.

Cons: I purchased insurance from Discovery Cars. RP agent tried to sell me theirs saying that their insurance would superceed DC insurance If I did not purchase. If there were any damage I would have to pay any claim to RP and be re-embursed from DC That is stated on the DC contract but could be a pain to try and get reimbursed if needed. Fortunately all good upon rental return

Pros: The rental office is in the same building as many other car rental companies. There was no waiting line. There was no pressure to purchase additional insurance. The process very fast. We got a car in a new condition, we sent pictures of any scratch we suspected to the agent by Whatsapp. The return was easy, there was a guy on the return lot that checked the fuel level and damages and closed the rental contract on the spot.

Cons: we were given a slightly larger car (Nissan Juke) than we reserved. also, the car had been in an accident (rearended) and that was the one we got.

Pros: Took 10 mins to find the office as it was out of view from front of Catania airport & not so well sign posted with Rental Plus name. Ended up ringing them for directions. Staff friendly & helpful. No one at the car area when we collected the car but all was easy. Drop off staff friendly & checked the car quickly. Shuttle service to Palermo airport from drop off ran every 15 mins so happy with that.

Cons: Nothing really. Note, could not fit 2 medium suitcases in Fiat Panda boot & had to place one on the back seat which wasn’t a problem for us.

Cons: Long time to find the agent in Catania. And the there was not a mutual inspection walktgrough to mark damages. They told us to video tape the car before we drive it. The car had many issues not flagged on the contract. So had to justify then with the video at drop off. Including tire wear which was questioned. Luckily it showed in my video. Also although we purchased full coverage online. They said if there is damage we would pay and have to then ask for refund from DiscoverCars. Thats bad.

Pros: The pickup took a bit longer as we talked about everything important. Also we had to take another car as the preferred was not available but the gave me even better completely new car. Staff was professional explained everything from thew rental and Insurance. The offered their own but did not complicate as I had it from DiscoverCars. I had to upload pictures of car before taking rental.The return was even easier as I just left the keys and uploaded pictures to Whatsup. Everything was OK.

Pros: Almost everything, they were clear and quick and explained everything we needed to know. They upgraded us to a new awesome car that had everything we needed (sensors, camera, navigation) so that was amazing, thank you.

Cons: They offer some extra insurance (at quite a high price, basically same price of the rental), saying that the insurance I got from Discover Cars will try to not cover damages like scratches etc. At the end luckily I didn't do or have any damages done to the car but during my trip I did have a sense of worry and fear that if something did happen it wouldn't be easy to get refunded.

Cons: See above note and the car had a service icon lit when I picked it up. I investigated when I got a message that the car will not start in 250 kms unless dealt with. Then I needed to find a dealership to service the "adblue" needs of the car. I submitted the Visa receipt for reimbursement. Also GPS system kept asking me to update it! That was annoying. The dealership fixed it.

Cons: Mix up over the dates which was a fault on their system but they immediately found as a suitable alternative car.

Cons: Rental Plus did not allow me to pay for the cost of the rental on my debit card and the security deposit on my credit card. They forced me to pay an additional 351 EUR as a penalty for not paying for rental cost + security deposit on a credit card in one payment. There was no communication from Discover Cars on this very specific requirement.

Pros: The car we received was almost brand new and in good shape. Also we had the luck of finding a RentalPlus agent on the parking lot, so the drop-off was very fast. The latter was a bit of luck though, as it was quite hard to find the RentalPlus drop-off / parking lot.

Cons: We spent almost two hours, after a 15 hour trip to Catania due to delays, in their office. First waiting on other customers, later on waiting on their systems and paperwork. It took ages to get the key for the rental car and to get our ID's approved. Their system was at fault here, so I would suggest to invest in a better one. Also we booked a compact car and received an SUV. So basically we were driving the narrow streets of Siciliy with a car which was about twice the size we wanted.

Cons: For reasons outside of my control, I was unable to get to Catania airport on 31st July to pick up the car. I used the Whatsapp number to message that I would not be able to do the pick up which was acknowledged but no help was offered to re-book the car, or offer to refund what I had paid up front. Not a great customer experience unless you want to follow up now and offer some redress.

We reached a rentals plus clerk who had to drive from the airport to the drop off location to pick us up and take us back to the airport. This was a time consuming process and we’re very lucky that we had given ourselves lots of time. Rental agent tried to get us to spend an additional 200 euro for insurance despite us buying your full coverage.

Pros: New car with low mileage, great condition. Friendly staff, good prices and normal deposit, I had 500 blocked for a Panda, most rental agencies block up to 1800 for this car-categorie in Catania airport. AMEX is accepted which can be a problem at other agencies.

Cons: Returning the car could be faster with a own return-desk at the parking, now you have to return the key at the rental desk and then walk outside with the agent, if you are in a hurry this could take up some time.

It took about an hour to process us, given all the data was there already it's ridiculous. 2. the car wasn't ready even after all the time we spent at the counter. 3. when we had a problem, they offered to send a tow truck to pick the car up, and leave us in the middle of nowhere, and asked us to come pick a replacement car from the same place we picked the first car. (about 100 KM from our hotel...)
