Cons: They had no car for us and when one was available, well over 2 hours had passed. The card deposit system was broken which added more waiting time. When the car did arrive it had done 80000 km, was full of bumps and scratches, had only a quarter of a tank of fuel. We then discovered the windscreen washer was broken and the tyre pressure light was on. This is the worst company I have ever rented from. The staff were casual and had to be asked repeatedly for updates on where our car was

Place was hard to find even with directions. It was difficult to communicate in english during pickup and drop off.

Všude bylo možné bez problémů použít debetní kartu a nebylo nutné platit pojištění přesahující cenu půjčovného.

Oh I just have a plane to catch.

Cons: Disgusting. The hire manager demanded I pay extra for full insurance because the full insurance I paid for when I booked the DISCOVERY was not valid. This was well over my budget and I refused. The manager then agreed to take out basic car insurance, but when I paid the deposit by credit card through the terminal, there was a refusal three times in a row. My card was blocked. I was stressed and had to cancel the rental. I got the distinct feeling that this was a scam.

Pros: As soon as I explained the employee (the only one available when dropping the car) that if it would take so long, we might miss our flight, she did her best to hurry up. At first she made me stressed telling me that I did not take the car to be washed. I thought she would probably charge me but it was too late. Then she said it was OK.The best thing was that she asked for my credit card and she immediately released the amount of EUR 850 that was blocked (which usually happens within 14 days) :)

Cons: When picking up the car the guy did not explain anything related to the specificity but just disappeared. It turned out that there was no any water/liquid put into to wash the front window of the car and we had to take care of it ourselves (but it might be a normal practice, I do not know). When dropping the car, there was available only one lady and she was very busy to serve several clients, and it takes certain time, so we were a bit worried not to take quite long and miss the plane... A :)))

Cons: When we arrived, they told us that they did not accept debit card. That was our mistake, we did not read the yellow captions. But after that we agree with the conditions. We were smiling and had a good time, but the owner's son did not approve that. He tired to get a fight with us and there was yelling and he said " I don't like your faces, you grab the car and go!". He was so rude, and made us uncomfortable with the trip. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros: We got a free upgrade, maybe a plus but in Italy it is harder to drive a larger car. The car had scratches and indents everywhere, we picked it up at night so it is impossible to document everything in the pictures. However it was ok they did not blame us for something that was already there.

Cons: Airbag sign was on, probably the airbag did not work. They charge you 10 euro to clean the car or bring it clean. This is not listed in the voucher.

Pros: Tried to charge me for a scratch that wasn't very clear on the photos that they took on collection. Thankfully I was able to zoom in on one of my photos and prove it was there on collection. Also charged me €10 saying the car needs to be cleaned prior to drop off, however the car was dirty upon collection?! TAKE YOUR OWN PHOTOGRAPHS AS EVIDENCE ASWELL AS ASKING THEM TO SEND YOU THEIRS. The cost of rental however was very competitive.

They probably chetated me. Car was ok when I arrived back to office. I made photos from all sides. After 5 minutes with agent, the front light was broken. He doesn't care about my 5 minutes old photos. The second agent probably did it. They wanted more than 800€ for this. Not recommend this company.

Cons: There was major damage to the front passenger and rear passenger doors. Both were severely dented. I had already been 'conned' into paying 10e 'car cleaning charge' and told my additional insurance I had taken out was not sufficient and yet I was handed a badly damaged car. They did not want to record the damage to the front door until I insisted. As I drove away, onto the motorway a warning light came on telling me to check the tyre pressures. Clearly no vehicle inspection had been done.

( it isn't the law, we rented from someone else there. probably another company owned by the same people. lol ).

Cons: The agency delivered me a car with both headlights burnt out, but unfortunately I didn't notice. In the evening I found myself in the middle of Sicily with big problems getting home. No assistance. I did the repair at my expense. I have not received any compensation, nor have I been reimbursed for my expenses. At the desk they turned a deaf ear, no one ever replied to the email they provided me.

I have never encountered anything like this in any rental company. When returning the car, they wanted to deceive the customer about the deposit where they invented various damages to the car, which of course were not there. Without arguing and insisting on their truth, they would cheat the customer and money

Cons: Éjszaka sötétben elég nehéz megtalálni, mivel nincs kitáblázva. Kár hogy nem fogadják el ugyanúgy a dombornyomott debit kártyát, mint a credit kártyát.

Pros: The agent, Francesco was very nice, polite and very helpful. He explained everything in detail and even suggested another car (at the same rate) then the one we had chosen ... and he was right ! We enjoyed our 2 week plus very much with this rental.

This developed into a minor row and there was a lot of bad feeling around the rental. ACARENT staff were very impolite and aggressive when I refused to take out additional insurance. This spoiled our trip as we were not at all confident that we had insurance at all.

Cons: Brake lights not working or properly inspected before handing off vehicle as a rental, plus windshield wiper fluid over soapy/greasy made for VERY dangerous driving experience into the sunlight that was difficult to remedy. Rental agents were way too picky about scratches to the point of practically going over the car with a magnifying glass. Made us feel very nervous. They also requested the vehicle be vacuumed before returning which was extremely difficult to find as tourists in Italy.

Pros: It was fast, straight forward, they don't block ridiculous amounts of money and they unlock it fast after your trip (less than 3 days in my case). They communicated pretty well via Whatsapp. They didn't even push too much for their own insurance, when they new I had my own.

Cons: The full to full policy is interpreted as "same to same", which means that the fuel tank isn't full and you need to return car with exactly the same amount. This of course leads to giving them more fuel than you should.

Pros: First car developed a fault so they changed it at no cost.

I wonder if they ever check their cars between service periods.

Pros: Le véhicule ne correspondait pas à celui réservé car plus disponible (berline au lieu de SUV) Panne après quelques kilomètres (perte de temps et stress le temps d’être dépanné) Deux voyants allumés, signalés au loueur sans retour de sa part. Le voyant de frein nous a inquiété et obligé à changer notre trajet (annulation d’hôtels…) et notre inquiétude était justifiée : les freins sont tombés en panne ce qui était très dangereux. Le loueur a fini par nous donner un nouveau véhicule.

Cons: Le nouveau véhicule a affiché un voyant adblue quelques minutes après le départ ! Nous allons porter plainte compte tenu de notre mise en danger sans action de la part du loueur et de la vôtre. Je vais contacter notre protection juridique.

Cons: So I'm still in dispute over the charges We inspected the car on pick up at night in a dark carpark went over it by torch and photographed and made notes of all scratches & bumps on hire out form of the rental agreement On return they pointed out a bump way under the car on the bottom of the car passenger side which I had to lie on the ground to spot and which we never looked at on check out. I know I never bumped the car so it seemed wrong Then I had to pay 260 euro for the damage excess!

Cons: there was a little bit sand ( beach ) on drivers side and not enough gasoline ( a few l. fuel ) I had to pay 85 € more

Pros: What we like? Absolutely nothing. Total scam operation. SHAME.

Cons: Where should we begin. There weren’t any service. We couldn’t pay with a Debit card, and even though we had a normal credit card, we couldn’t pay for it, because it was in another name. We couldn’t simply place a new order on the same car in the name of the credit card holder, which is a total fraud.

Pros: Francesco was really helpful, efficient and friendly when we arrived to pick up the car. Explained everything clearly. The car was in excellent condition and perfect for driving on Sicily’s more rural roads

Cons: Reserved full-size car; they didn’t have one, so was given compact for two days, then estate car. Compact had a tyre issue and went flat within first hour of rental.

Cons: Despite the booking form confirming that I could use my debit card to secure the deposit, I was told at the desk in collection that I couldn’t and therefore could use them to hire a car. I then had to hire through another firm on the day which cost more than triple the price

When dropping off the car, waited over 20 minutes for agent, but no-one arrived so had to leave keys& documents with someone else from another rental company. Having said this, the deposit was returned fully almost immediately

Cons: There was nobody at the disk or parking and nobody answered the phone. When we have been waiting for 30 minutes and several phone call with no response. We have to rent a car by an other company.

Pros: Value for money. In the end, we got our deposit back

Cons: customer service (or lack thereof) car with damages feeling of distrust despondent car rental agent. rental condition: "if you do not show up within an hour of the start of the booking, we cancel and keep your deposit" disclaimer "if our car is stolen in Catania, you are on your own"

Cons: One Hour waiting for the car despite car rental agents were saying 5 minutes delay. Car arrived all dirty outside and inside

Cons: The representative was extremely unhelpful and seemed as if he just couldn’t be bothered with us. On top of many other issues although we had pre booked a car seat there wasn’t one available. The representative said he would go and sort it for us but after 30mins we went back to the desk only to find that he had forgotten about it. Would not recommend ACArent at all.

Pros: English excellent. Car almost brand new. drop off mega efficient and quick. very pleasant person to deal with.

Cons: Waited an hour from time we arrived to time we drove off. Only one person on desk. Another person in front of us. But even when we got to the agent it took forever to go through every upgrade imaginable. Outside of the car was filthy. Would have been nice to have given us a clean car. I mean how long does it take to wash it? Inside wasn't really that much better.

Cons: Not a very friendly representative. Wanted to sell me a full coverage at an additiona 150 euro even though I had already had full coverage. But according to him that was no good as it was not through their own office. Didnt do that. Also had to pay an additional 40 euros for the additional driver eventough it was included in my price aswell. Paid 37 euro extra on VAT charges which is more then communicated on your website.

Pros: Absolutely nothing. To the point I didn’t care About the money I prepaid, I went to sixt and rented another car 5 times the price of ACA and yet I was happy with the service

Cons: Took 45 mins to return the car as the rep was sorting out one other customer. Not very friendly or welcoming. Missed a major dent on the car during the initial inspection.

Cons: Firstly, they made us take additional insurance. When our car broke down, we were calling ACARENT for an hour. When we finally managed to get their customer care, he did not speak any English - we almost missed our flight back. In the end, they billed us for a scratch on a rim and a slashed tire (act of delinquency) almost €1000, and they were telling all sort of lies to get our credit card data to charge us. We paid the full amount in the end, and luckily - we had DiscoverCarHire insurance.

Pros: I was expecting a torrid time when returning the car as the delay in receiving the car meant I did not inspect it as throughly as I normally would

Cons: They did not have the car I booked (Kuga automatic ) and I got a Fiat 500x manual instead. When I asked if there was any compensation... The answer was to go rent from others if I didn't like it. They apologised and acknowledged it was their mistake but did little to remedy situation.

Cons: I booked a car for me and my mother to use. However, went my mother went to pick up the car they said that despite the booking, they didn't have a car available for her and that she had to use another company called Automax, which had cars available. Our experience with them was terrible.

Pros: Nothing kind to say besides the service seemed friendly enough and there was a minimal language barrier.

Cons: Picked up the car in an unlit parking lot and provided no light to inspect any damage on the car. Felt extremely rushed inspecting car. Certain areas like very dark smudges were said to not damages and shuffled away from the area. Returned car and was told extremely small knicks we're damages. Asked for a quote guy said he was new and they outsource had NO idea how much it would cost. They drove the car away quickly and we had no further time to inspect or discuss. Shady people. Scam artists.

Pros: Great service, fast and efficient - he gave us a map and pointed out various places to visit during our stay.

Cons: There was no car for us and we were left stranded

Cons: When I booked, the documentation said it was a Ford Mondeo. What I got was a Ford Fiesta, although it was a very acceptable car!!!

Cons: The 2 agents that I met at the desk were rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. Everything they said and did made me highly suspicious that they were going to do their utmost to scam me in some way. The car was returned out of hours as per agreement and I was mation whatsoever about that process. This was particularly relevant as to what I should do with the key. That lack of guidance and their failure to have a sensible system (or indeed any system) caused me a major problem.

Cons: Attempted to say that car was damaged upon return when it was obvious that scratches to hub cap were very old.

Cons: Service desk was quite far from the terminal and not too easy to find. It took some time to get the car.
