Pros: The lady at check in, Chiara, was nice - that is all, the rest of the staff were rude.

Cons: We were made to queue in the heat outside a hut for a long time. They made up damage to a door when I said I hadn't taken photos at pick up - total scam but they made me late for a flight so I couldn't argue. They were rude - one told me to go to a place and when I did the other shouted at me.

Pros: The person that helped us with the original pick up was at least friendly and was trying to be helpful.

Cons: I was not told that I was required to take a photo of the car. I was told that I am responsible for small scratches on the back bumper? This is unfair and unreasonable. I was not involved in any accidents or collisions.

Cons: I rented a Peugeot 3008 with Italy Car Rent, but received a Nissan Juke. A total scam. The staff lady at the delivery point was very rude. She just handed the keys without telling where the car was located and telling that I’m getting the same car category as Peugeot 3008. This is not true at all.

Cons: When picking up the car on Google Maps, the office was indicated exactly at Terminal A, the arrivals hall but it was not there. Actually 100 meters in front of Terminal C. Please, indicate the exact location on Google Maps.

Cons: Italy Car Rent has blocked a certain amount on my credit card stating that a damage has been done on the car. The damage, they said, was below the car, and it was impossible to see. Al the picture I took didn't show any damage, but just some sand on the car. If you see the evaluations of other clients in Google, they all state that Italy Car Rent requires compensation for non existing damages regularly. You should stop including them in your platform

Pros: Honestly. Rented many cars with different companies. Italy car rent. Was the best experience. They didn’t have the car I asked for. So I got an upgrade which I didn’t want. But definitely will recommend this company to anyone going to Italy! Good value. And the fiat tipo was a nice car to drive!

Cons: For drop off had to call them how to do after hours drop off. And it toke me 3 calls and on hold for 15 minutes. How ever once they picked up. The lady was super nice and was very helpful! Her name was Laura in the Venice airport location. Very nice person and explained it very well.

Cons: Checking out the car took over 1.5 hours, terrible communication, long lines, unfriendly and unhappy agents that constantly left the desk to smoke. No other car rental companies acted this way, no lines for their customers.

Cons: Given a 9/10 overall as we struggled to find the kiosk on the airport grounds. The documents say 'In terminal' which it isn't and we walked all around to try and find it! Little/no signage for Italy Car Rent and there are loads of car rental companies all over the airport! Instructions for returning the car do say "P4 Rent a car" - but it would be useful to clarify that it's not "P4 short stay" as that's what you come to first!

They suggested me insurance though I took discovery car insurance - Im pissed with the fact it is not mentioned in your site that it is not the rental conpany insurance,. I waited in the sun for almost a hour after searching for the agency for almost 40 minutes with an handicap child. We got a normal car when rented a SUV then had to wait more for the SUV It was written full to full tank on your site, we got it empty

Cons: They did not explain that the car didn’t predominantly run on petrol, but on methane instead, prior to pick-up: This led to a very difficult situation where we could not locate methane at any petrol stations and could have been stranded. It was completely irresponsible and reckless of them not to share this information beforehand. We were then charged for a superficial chip less than 1mm in size at drop off.

Cons: They have charged me for damage that wasent done by me. They Didn’t give me automatic car as requested. Picked up a new vehicle because service light was and got charged $881 for a scratch at the bottom of the car that I didn’t do. After picking up another vehicle I had found 4 scratches that were not identified in the paper. That means I would’ve been charged for those when returning the car. Unacceptable

Cons: As mentioned above plus ... collecting the car in a dark car park. Impossible to see if any scratches etc. When returning the car there was no option to receive confirmation the car was ok. Signed electronically (will take a photo in future), asked for a print out, told no, it would be emailed, still waiting.

Cons: Pick-up took ages, literary an hour. There was one agent waiting for multiple renters, and the process was fully manual. It seems there is no data transfer between the information I gave Discover and what Italy receives. The Italy agent then let me know that the insurance I purchased from Discover was not valid, and that I would need to purchase an additional €270 insurance from. Upon return the agent could not provide me with any assurance that I would be given my security deposit back.

Do we’ve lost another hour checking and photographing the car in the presence on rental firm staff member. I thought that my waver would eliminate this process. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I arrived with my credit card which was perfectly fine and I used it before and after the whole trip, suddenly the clerk told me that the payment was not going through and there was a problem with the card. Only after he convinced us to add 220 euros of extended coverage insurance did they agree that my friend would use his credit card, instead of mine. That's how they raised the deal we pre-ordered, by another 220 euros!.

Cons: The car although "or similar" was not at all as booked. We booked an estate with sat nav. Collected a hatchback without sat nav ...... Having checked the website this equates to us paying for things which in essence we did not receive.
