Cons: No option for debit card deposit - the good thing is that we were informed about this beforehand, but we still did not have time to renew our credit card before the holidays. However, somewhere should be noted that if in case of NOT HAVING the debit card, they will make you pay an ADDITIONAL insurance (silver package being 260e and gold package being 400e in June 2024), which ended up in paying more for insurance than for the car rental itself.

Pros: Discover cars was fine but Felirent were difficult to work with. Charged me €97 for being 9 minutes late. Provided 3/4 of a tank but I was forced to provide a full tank. Wanted me to sign for the car without inspecting it. Nonsense.

Cons: The office was small and cramped,It was a late pick up and we're told to photograph any marks or damages to car... impossible because it was dark and we wanted to get away because we had an hours journey to our holiday destination.On our return to car hire ,they pointed out that we had a damaged wing mirror which they said we had to pay for,we denied causing this damage but because we had a flight to catch we had no choice but to accept this fault!! We are waiting for an invoice from filerent !!

They told us that we had to pay extra money for their insurance in order to cover any car damage and didn't take into consideration that we had already paid a full insurance with you. For them, it was your responsibility for that insurance and had nothing to do with them. So, either you or them are stealing us money

Pros: I didn't expect to be charged with 30 euro per day when using debit card. Practically we have increase with 150% the initial cost of the car. The same risk can be covered with debit card plus higher blocked /guarantee amount.

Cons: The scam that involved us having to get extra insurance which was nearly three times what we’d paid for the car. They insist on the deposit being a credit card and in the name or the driver and if it’s not force you to pay an extortionate premium on the car. It’s a scam.

Cons: First, it was very hard to find their office, no signs. Second they don't have an idea how this business goes. They ruined our planned trip. They are horrible!!! They didnt gave us a car because of not having an "international driving licence", however every other car renal company around was able to offer us the car. In the end, Sixt was very helpful and gave us a car without hestiation. We are still pending for an answer from Discovery Cars and we expect refund from all this bad experience.

It was quick, the car was great (GTI version of the Peugeot 208). Can only recommend! Read a lot of bad reviews on Trustpilot, so maybe it's different in high season. Hopefully not!

All information provided online had to be entered manually on paper to them and then they type it into their system. No integration of systems what so ever. No wonder pick up takes time.

However again they were very good and professional about it, giving me all the paperwork I needed to make a claim against my own insurance.

Cons: The 98 euros penalty charge for arriving after 20.00 was bad. Roughly 36% of the weeks hire. It was a delay on my flight so out of my control. I understand the price would have been adjusted if I had confirmed an after 20.00 arrival. That is fine as I would have had a choice at time of purchase. The penalty gave me no choice and was very disappointing.

Also for closing the car you had to turn on again and then close it. They know about this issue and said to me, why I worried the car is rolling.
