Pros: Nice office lady
Cons: They gave me a completely different car, the car was already damaged in several places. The car was so low that it could not be driven on a worse road. The deposit was not blocked on the credit card more than 1 week after the car was returned.

Pros: When picking up the car I was first given a Lynk & Co SUV which I was not comfortable driving. I went back to the desk (as this was my first time renting a car on top of driving an SUV!) where Annalisa helped me a lot and gave me a Toyota C-HR instead which was a wonderful car to drive. The drop-off was really efficient at around 8am in the morning where Marsio checked the car and helped with the drop-off!
Cons: I had to wait over 2 hours at Catania airport to collect the car as there weren't enough staff to check everyone in - this could be because Hertz recently acquired Dollar and Thrifty so they should have more staff but it seemed only those from Hertz were there

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 20 % battery charge remaining.
