GaldieriRent at Catania Fontanarossa Airport

Pros: Was simple and easy!

Cons: drop off signing took me like 10 mins

Pros: they were rude staff working specially the baldy guy

Cons: everything they way they were talking to you at drop off

Pros: Great ! Just too much paperwork still for car hire

Cons: The wait and endless computer entry

Pros: The vehicle met my needs and there were surprises or issues with the rental

Cons: The pickup took a bit of time but i think that this is the case for all rental car pickups at CTA

Pros: Molto gentili e veloci

Pros: Perfect service, excellent car condition. Fast pick up and drop off. Highly recommended company

Pros: Helpful, trustworthy and good car.

Cons: Catania is a terrible airport where Etna erupts and the staff get overwhelmed. So better resources in a shut down. Move the airport would help even more!

Pros: Sve je bilo kako je i dogovoreno

Cons: I am very satisfied with the service! The only thing that bothered me was that, even though I kept in touch regarding our delay caused by activity at Mount Etna, no one was waiting for us at the agency when we arrived at 10:10 PM. I lost a night's accommodation and had to stay in Catania. Given the issues caused by Etna, I believe there should be a more flexible schedule, and exceptions could be made when it is clear that someone has rented a car but is delayed through no fault of their own.

Pros: speed of pickup and return. assistance at desk.

Cons: had to walk all over the parkinglot to find the car, which was not at pickup spot.

Pros: Quite fast check-in on return.

Cons: Known damage was not marked on the contract provided for signature and will need to be overridden at check-out. Personal data from the documents and questionnaire (first name, surname, and address) was also entered incorrectly.

Pros: I didn’t have the car

Cons: You took payment for a car I never had

Pros: Very pleasant surprise. First time car rent with no but.

Pros: Good car Even if it was not the exact model demanded

Cons: A little waiting at the pick up

Pros: Easy to deal with

Pros: Not pushy selling add ons

Cons: Time it takes to pick up car. All information they need could be collected in advance to speed up process. Process is very slow. They are not unique in this, it applies to lots of car rental firms

Pros: Car was amazing

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Quick service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly. Competent agent at check in. And check out. Language was not an issue.

Cons: Had a difficult time finding drop off.

Pros: People were great helping us to the booking in both pick up and drop off.

Pros: The best in the business. Sono sempre i migliori. Highly recommended.

Pros: Friendly and helpful office and parking staff, good value for the price.

Cons: It's a bit hard to find the office - when you leave the airport. There's no sign of the terminal where the office is located. The car was dented - like all of them in Italy.

Pros: Auto nuova e in perfette condizioni

Pros: clean car

Cons: I didn't like the staff's transparency. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't use it again to get a car.

Pros: They gave us a new car with a lot of options and that helped us to navigate easy.

Cons: They wanted to sell us their own insurance as the Sincera insurance was not good. They tried to sell the full option casco as better.

Pros: Got a brand new car, so can't complain on anything.

Cons: The car was marked as having a full tank, but in fact it had around 80% fuel, but I didn't bother with it. Returned it full.

Pros: Easy drop off

Cons: Pick up was a joke

Pros: Easy access at the airport, good car

Cons: Not very flexible as due to a flight cancelation we arrived 5h earlier and they weren't able to help us with a car even though it still would remain the same amount of renting days. The desk agent told us to take pictures of all damages on the car before leaving as it could happen that not all of it was registered by them. It was good that we did that because when returning the car we needed it as proof for a scratch that was already there before... This should be monitored in a better way.

Pros: The pickup process was pretty straightforward, although we didn't get the car we asked for, but one similar

Cons: When we reached out to them a day after pickup, they didn't answer. And even with full coverage they told us that we should have brought the car back to change (this information only got to us at dropoff).

Cons: an hour to collect the car, too much

Pros: Great customer service and I was happy with the car I was given

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Kindness and helpfulness

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The price was very competitive and the booking process was straightforward. The car was clean, reliable, and suitable for our trip. The staff were generally helpful, and overall we received good value for money.

Cons: The return process could be improved. The signs directing customers to the car return area were not clear enough, especially compared with other rental companies that had more visible directions. Also, the “Last Minute” branding/offer was confusing, as the same rental appeared to be available directly through the company at a similar price. While this was not a major financial issue, it created some uncertainty about the booking process and pricing transparency.

Pros: niceness at the desk

Cons: brakes very very noisy at only 16k kms ??? This is not the right way to deliver a car to a customer

Pros: Got exactly what I ordered

Pros: Price

Cons: Not helpful with insurance

Pros: They were polite and respectful. The fellow at the pick up area was kind and polite, his name is Sergio.

Cons: The wait was long and very confusing as there are multi rental companies and you can’t tell who is line for which company. And no one to ask.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Customer service and ridiculous policy

Pros: We heard many stories of car rentals that try to sell you unnecessary extra insurance, but they didn't. We really liked our car.

Cons: The pick up of the car was incredibly difficult to find. We eventually just went to the car return. The officer was very friendly and picked our car up for us at the pick up point.

Pros: Goes fast. They have new car in good condition. They use WhatsApp if you have some questions.

Cons: They made me buy insurance as Discover cars insurance did not cover the car correctly.

Pros: Vehicle and pricing

Cons: Agent and fee transparency

Cons: As mentioned above, it wasn't clear that we needed an international drivers license, and we weren't able to get a refund. That should be stated clearly in bold letters as you're browsing, and certainly before you order.

Pros: -

Cons: I had bought full coverage insurance already through Discovercars. Agent tried to sell their own insurance for me and I got really poor and rude service. The car was in good condition and clean, but it was out of ad-blue and engine oil. I returned the car in the parking lot and the keys in the box, as I was instructed, but I did not receive any confirmation in my email that the car had been returned intact, and the deposit had been returned to my account.

Pros: Easy and fast pick up and drop off

Cons: The car did not have carpets and there was almost no water for cleaning the windscreen

Cons: No windshield liquid

Pros: Car was new and perfect! Thanks.

Pros: They are always so nice. I try to rent from them any time we visit Catania.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Nice car. Easy to pick up and easy to return

Pros: Excellent car (Ford Puma) in an excellent condition. No trouble regarding the delivery of the car.

Cons: I had to find the car without any assistance in a large parking, full of cars for rent in the Catania Airport. No agent showed me the functions of the car or checked it with me. For the delivery, I had to find the delivery point of Galdiery, poorly indicated, within the same large parking. The baby seat, although it has cost 11 euros per day, was of poor quality. There was also some pressure to buy extra insurance, although I had bought the full coverage of Discovercars.

Pros: Good car, good service both at the office and the pick up return point

Cons: I found rhe return car way not so easy.

Pros: The agent was kind, efficient, and helpful

Pros: The car had every light on and it was scary to drive. We were unsure if it would simply break down

Pros: Good car quality and professional return staff.

Cons: Terrible experience. The counter staff was rude and aggressively pushed unnecessary insurance, causing pick-up delays. Most shockingly, they dishonestly changed my confirmed 19:30 return time to 18:12 on the contract without notice. When I returned the car at 19:10, I was nearly charged for being "late." Luckily, the return agent accepted my original booking proof. Unethical behavior and highly unprofessional.

Cons: They didn't have a damage sheet for the car, they asked me to take photos. Car in bad condition.

Pros: Pleasant service, great car. I returned the car without any damage, Daniele checked it very professionally, thanked me for not doing any damage - no stress. Thank you, Daniele.

Cons: It was not easy to find office.

Pros: they're the best, every time.

Pros: The rent service was provided very well, despite that the tank of the car wasn't full, but manager asked to make a photo and refill to the same level. After drop off I just showed the photo and there was no problems with deposit.

Pros: Rented for a week. Friendly staff, easy pickup and drop off, explained insurance for once and did let us know the risks. No pushing for upselling. Remember to get international driving license. and the best part was they gave absolutely new vehicle (drove only few kms) for my rental. Highly recommended and will rent again from them.

Pros: The staff were great and very kind when I returned the car a day late (I thought I’d booked it to a later date, but hadn’t).

Cons: All great, just a bit of a learning curve to find the place and to drop it off.

Pros: Very good value for money. Very good service

Cons: Car had several dents and damages

Cons: Unlike indicated, the pick up was not "in terminal" but at an external car rental centre, which was however in walking distance

Pros: Fast and easy pick-up. No push for insurance, friendly agent (Gilermo), huge credit for the company.

Cons: Paintful drop-off. No one at the yard to inspect the cars. People are facing the risk of missing their flights. Total chaos! Cars aren't properly cleaned. Windows are probably never cleaned from the inside. No screen wash and a bad smell inside, despite it being a new vehicle.

Pros: Insurance packaged offered on site was totally overpriced and the agent didnt explain the details which made me choose a higher coversge than needed

Pros: The car was new, clean and the agents very helpful!

Pros: friendly and professional staff

Cons: the difference between the site and office offer

Pros: We liked the car.

Cons: Only one person working counter with lots of customers lined up, many trying to find someone to drop off their return. We couldn’t find our car and had to return to the counter. On returning the lot was very crowded and finding the GaldieriRent location was difficult. Once we found it we dropped the car off but couldn’t find anyone to check in out..

Cons: pickup - no agent on site - confusing where to put the car

Pros: I had to find a car at last minute as the reservation i had with Target Rent at Catania Airport got cancelled because flight was delayed. So I went into Discover Cars website and found this one which was more expensive but half the price if I'd have booked direct at the car rental counter.

Pros: Clerk at check out counter was very nice after a lengthy delay

Cons: Vehicle was dirty, damaged, and had no washer fluid in it

Pros: Good car, booked a fiat 500x and got a ford puma. I would have preferred to drive an italian car in italy, but nevertheless, the car was good!

Pros: Overall very good value for money

Cons: There was nobody at all to assist with the car at pick up. It took me a while to figure out how to use some of the features in the car

Pros: Super fast pickup and delivery 10 min max to be at the wheel . Clear explanation and friendly employees

Cons: I paid the full rental fee in advance, but I didn't get a car or any service from Galdierirent, because I had some issue with my Credit Cardd and they not accepted my Debit Card, even I wanted to pay to the Full insurance package, without deposit.

Pros: Great car but had low tyre pressure warning we could not remove with extra air

Cons: Car rental return confusing at Catania airport and need more signage

Pros: Nothing

Cons: We were forced to do a driver change, which cost extra. Worse, they claimed the driver change invalidated the extra insurance we had already paid for. It felt like a scam – either the booking platform is misleading, or the rental desk is making up rules to charge more.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: There was no signage to find Galdier, nor Discover cars. The lines were very long and the room was chaotic. Then we were give NO instructions on how to actually find the car out in the lot. We walked around the huge lot for 45 minutes with our luggage in the hot sun. Never again!!!

Pros: Good, but the car we gotcwas an EMC instead of a Jeep Compass.

Cons: See above

Pros: Nothing biggest rip off company ever

Cons: I brought the wrong outdated international license. I was denied rental. I paid 500$ in advance. On your web site you state certain companies might want it.so for my error you and the rental company took the whole amount and I never received the car. This is an easy way to prey on people’s mistakes Sounds like a great way to treat your customers.

Pros: That they didn't charge us anything for not renting the car.

Cons: Discovercars.com did not provide adequate information when we booked this reservation that an international driver's license was required to rent at GaldieriRent.

Pros: Efficient drop off

Cons: Good drop off...fast clear hand back

Pros: The car exceeded with the renting conditions. It was a new car 2025

Cons: Al Ok

Cons: Such an awful car hire company! So unorganised and waffled so much. Never gave us the car. Went right next door to it and got a car with Sicily by car with no issue at all.

Pros: No hard selling on insurance add-ons. Drop-off was quick and easy so I could focus on getting to my flight on time.

Cons: It took a while for someone to come to the desk and sort out our paperwork. The wrong reciept was given with another person's details on it.

Pros: Francesco at pickup, was friendly and professional, he remembered me when I dropped off the car and remembered a small dent that I pointed out to him.

Pros: Everything was set and easy to understand, The guy at the counter was very helpful

Cons: the location, but not that big of a problem

Pros: friendly service

Pros: Everything was clearly explained and worked well. The agent was helpful and efficient. It was an extremely busy season but the staff were helpful and friendly despite the pressure.

Cons: The pick up took a very long time and then we also had to wait for the car to be brought. At drop off, no-one was even around and we had to guess a little what to do with the key.

Pros: Car was good, and service too.

Pros: they did not rent me anything they asked for an international driver permit that I never heard of and that was never requested in my reservation

Pros: El vehiculo era nuevo.

Cons: La diferencia entre el precio publicado en la pagina y el costo final (con seguro) se triplico. Resulta un tanto engañoso, o al menos, hace mas dificil comparar el precio con otros proveedores.

Pros: Price

Cons: Waiting time of 1.5 hours!! Not even chair to sit while waiting. Had i known that i wouldn’t have rented there

Pros: Friendly customer services staff. Great whats app support available and correct information provided quickly at all times. Will use again.

Cons: Pick up was a little slow but it was a busy time. Was a little disappointed that I could not extend my rental when my plans changed.

Cons: car was dirty, cable for Android Auto kept disconnecting

Pros: Very efficient

Cons: N/A

Cons: Slow service, poor English skills, tried to force sell over the top insurances

Pros: Very good value

Cons: Nobody appeared when we returned the car. We called the number, and were told to leave the key in the dropbox, and would get a confirmation email in an hour. We never got this, instead we got an email 3 hours later asking where the car was. When I replied that I had left it at the drop-off, I did not get a confirmation email back.

Pros: Not much.

Cons: Chaotic & slow pickup. Total chaos at drop off.

Cons: 3 month expire on credit card was within limit, but rental firm clamed different, so had to pay full insurance.

Pros: smooth check-in and check-out

Cons: Reference brand for my SUV rental was JEEP. I got EMC which is low cost Chinese import. This car was beautiful but has no motor power. When I asked to change, they offered a car that was not full SUV and didn't want to lower the price and said that no other car was available.

Cons: Advise to navigate to the drop-off area in Catania was inefficient; in fact that whole area is a catastrophy in terms of accessability.

Pros: Not much

Cons: Did a hard sell on insurance and I already had full coverage, even after making it clear I did not want it they put it through on credit card and tried to get me to enter pin. Luckily I realised what they were doing Deceptive and not pleasant experience . I will be making complaint about you to European Commission, of which I am a member.

Pros: It felt like a Sicilian scam behaviour while being good mannered.

Pros: Beautiful logo, black and yellow looks fine

Cons: It all started with the fact that I rented a Jeep Compass and they gave me some Chinese EMC Wave 3 and said that it was a similar car. Then the manager said that I needed to pay an extra 15 euros to get a bigger car, I said that it was really because of this money that we spent so much time arguing and agreed to pay extra, then it turned out that I needed to pay an extra 50 euros, as he confuses these two words in English. Of course, first I needed to pay a deposit to look at the cars and I coul

Pros: Drop-off was smooth. The agent, Francesco, helped me with the forms related to a small damage and explained everything in great detail. Very kind and friendly! The car was almost new, clean and in great condition.

Cons: When picking-up the car the lady tried very hard to make me sign an additional insurance for ~350 EUR from the company that I did not need, since I had already booked with DiscoverCars. Very pushy, did not want to accept that I will not take their insurance.

Pros: Hard to find

Cons: Sold me more insurance

Pros: Quick drop off. Pretty good alternative for the Fiat I wanted.

Cons: They try to sell you an extra insurance on top of the full coverage from the booking platform. Moreover, it’s ridiculous to ask extra money for an additional driver, which is just made up to make more money.

Pros: Smooth and easy with good price

Cons: Not enough help to describe drop off procedure which is very tricky as poorly signposted and away from the main car rental return.

Pros: All good.

Cons: Nothing negative, all good thank you.

Pros: The man how give us the car helped us with good information

Cons: The insurance was not clear cause i already get my insurance full to full from the website (third party) and in the office told me you should take it from us or you will pay anything then contact your insurance for getting your money back

Pros: Very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The office was not easy to find due, we were told, to the airport not permitting a sign to be added alongside other rental companies. It would be helpful to add information to the instructions clearly saying to turn left and look for Europe Car next door - which is very clearly signed. Also to add some warning instructions for the vehicle return - the entrance to the car park is not easy to find but it is easy to enter the wrong car park, adding to stress when trying to catch a flight.

Pros: Very nice people work there

Pros: Fast service. agent are helpfullnes

Pros: Car was Ok

Cons: see previous comments

Pros: We picked up the car at Catania Airport – the rental office was easy to find, and the staff were friendly and professional. The car we received was new, clean, and very fuel-efficient – even after driving 1,000 km, it used very little fuel. Returning the car was hassle-free. I definitely recommend this car rental company

Pros: Signage to the check in desk could be better but the speed & ease of service and the quality of the car was fantastic.

Cons: Limited signage regarding return of vehicle - could be clearer.

Cons: I received other car than in my reservetion. It was Emc? Some chinese italian shit car with extremely weak engine.

Pros: No queues, now understand why.

Cons: Due to the fact that we were travelling in 4 we decided to rent bigger dynamic car with enough space for lugagge. Therefore we ordered Jeep Compas . Being in Rental Company it is turned out that such a car is not offered by GaldieriRent. They told me that i have chosen segment not car make. (WTF) They gave me Chinese car - wise product EMC wave 3. Car with totally no power engine (In mountains i had to drive on the 1st gear), and small trunk (our luggage barely fit to the car trunk).

Pros: The car was nice

Cons: Goldierent took 144 euro from me for extra collation damage although they shouldn't, they said that if I won't pay then I'll have to return the car a day before. I've tried to contact discovercars for help but there was no one to talk to and no one helped me. I won't book through discovercars again! They destroyed my trip and made my vacation so bad.

Pros: Handover was really thorough for checking for damages, and making sure they were recorded.

Cons: Service was slow in the rental station.

Pros: No complications!

Pros: great service, they provided a new car

Cons: 1. We reserved a Fiat X500 and got a DS3 a brandnew car but in my opinion not the same class as the Fiat especially Boot size. 2. Catania car rental return finding station difficult as Galdieri signs are not prominent enough.

Pros: Pick-up speed

Cons: I know is Sicily, but... The agent appeared 7 minutes past 8 AM. For me he was late, but very speedy.

Pros: Staff very helpful. Very efficient on returning the car. Very transparent about checking for damage and fuel level.

Pros: Car was good standard

Cons: Lots of damage not reported in the car. Upon dropping off they claimed they didn’t have these recorded so I had to show proof. Luckily I took photos and I didn’t have to pay for these existing damages. Given the large size of these damages it was crazy how they hadn’t recorded them and likely waiting to charge an unsuspecting customer. Pick up took 30 mins to get car while being served.

Pros: They were so nice and explained everything thoroughly.

Pros: EXCELLENT PROFESSIONALS

Cons: NOTHING

Pros: Staff

Cons: Drop off location which is not their fault.

Cons: Car was not at the level ordered

Cons: Trudność z odnalezieniem drogi do zwrotu samochodu

Pros: Gyorsan megtaláltuk a kölcsönzőt.

Pros: We rented a car in Sicily for 6 days and had a great experience! Everything went smoothly, the car was in perfect condition, and there were no issues at all. A big thank you to Francesco, who was super helpful and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Pros: The car was good as as promised.

Cons: They tried to upsell agressively. When picking up the car, they didn't come with us to check for dents.

Cons: Due to lack of staff, no one assisted me when picking up the car. I didn't know how to release the handbrake, I had a lot of difficulty for about 15 minutes. I had to read the information on Google. Also, no one told me that the car was LPG and petrol. We only found out when we delivered it because the same person we handed the keys to at the reception accompanied me to the car park to check that everything in the car was OK, and asked me if I had put the LPG on... I got really angry!

Pros: Nice and helpful people!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Super inflexible. I could not pay the deposit with the credit card of my husband, they suggested me paying EUR 300 in addition, so we had to wait 2 hours until I unblock my credit card

Pros: Picking up and dropping the car was quick.

Cons: Well agents pushing to selling their insurance when full insurance was purchased. Also car was not clean properly, there was no water for the windscreen, and as the car was diesel add blue was supposed to be full but after 3 days I had to go and top up the addblue. Receipt was taken and spoken when returned the car about the refund . They said that they might not be able to refund the money.

Pros: Easy to take the car, very nice gentleman at the desk

Pros: The car was very good, and the hole rental procedure was o.k.

Cons: The repay of the big deposit (1200Euro) wasn't a short time...

Pros: The staff were so helpful!! Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely rent from here my next trip

Cons: Everything went well

Pros: Eventing was fantastic super service

Pros: The car was in good condition. I've looked a bit for the rental unit so you have to pay attention to the signs. They refunded the warranty on the first working day (I've dropped the car on Friday afternoon and got refunded Monday night - Tuesday morning)

Cons: I've spent too much time picking up the car.

Pros: Average

Cons: It took lots of time to pock up the car and additional 30 minutes to receive the keys after that. The car showed it hasn’t been serviced, the response of the company by phone was don’t worry ot will be done after the return. At The drop off there was nobody therefore we have to take the keys to the office

Pros: Gentilezza e velocità nella riconsegna;

Pros: Did NOT like anything about this rental experience… Never again… 1 representative present only…spoke not a word of English .. insisted only for us to take another FULL insurance (€254)with Guilairi.. Full Insurance bought from Discover.com no good.. ( he claimed)… Damages have to be paid in advance and, only with proof, reimbursed later…

Cons: Dirty terrible car, not serviced, tire pressure low, no water in windowwiper, loose bumper strip etc.etc.. Nobody came with us to parking lot to “inspect” the car… Very bad experience overall…

Pros: price, the attitude of lady at pickup .

Cons: Car transmission was bad, experience at desk, return procedure, windshield stone marks not noted

Pros: Very affordable rates, easy to deal with

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly service,

Cons: Could have been a little easier to find

Pros: The customer service at DiscoverCars was very helpful and efficient when I had to change the reservation due to a mistak.

Cons: the first agent we dealt with was not trustworthy and tried to charge a whole new rental

Pros: Fast service. Car in perfect condition.

Pros: Good service overall

Cons: The waiting line is long. It is in September, not the peak summer season. We waited in line for more than 30 min. to get service.

Pros: Galdieri was considerate in every way-good experience.

Pros: Staff heloful

Cons: There name was not on rental document so difficult to locate and drop off not at Palermo airport

Pros: Horrible!!! From A-z they use the fact that most of the people are not Italian and needs to have mobility to set up questionable practices. People from car agencies just were sh****

Cons: I kindly invite everyone to go to somewhere else.

Pros: New car at a cheap price

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Nothing. They broke their contract agreement and did not seem to care.

Cons: In particular the fact that there was not a single effort to find a solution. " You have no car" was all he said. Very disappointing since we did nothing wrong.

Pros: only note: i had booked the fiat 500x and the message didn't say "or similar" and in the end they gave me a kia

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Slow, unprofessional staff. Huge waiting time at the arrival due to understaffing at rental desk (1 person). Car did not meet our expectations (smaller than ordered). At the return of the car, there was no rental agent in sight at the car park so we needed to queue again at the rental desk to return our keys.

Pros: fast checkout

Pros: Glacial service desk

Cons: A scratch was discovered. I'm quiet sure it will not require any remedial work. Charged €328

Pros: Helpful and polite personnel

Cons: Car not in a good condition

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Rxplained above

Pros: Very good value for the money. Fairly new car.

Cons: Very lengthy pickup (over 1 hour). I rented a mid size (Fiat Tipo) and recieved a small car (Skoda Fabia). The car was dented and scratched on all dors and hood. Could have been a bit cleaner on the inside.

Pros: Easy check in and check out

Cons: Hard to find it in Palermo airport

Pros: Rental counter staff were friendly and curteous

Cons: Where the car to be dropped off in Palermo. A paddock at the back of the airport

Pros: Very nice car and very clean more than happy with the overall service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Accurate and good value and deposit returned immediately.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: I did NOT like anything.

Cons: They never pick up phone, email, and even whatsapp ! Therefore one could literally be in need, without them even noticing. On the other hand, discover car was not able to find another car rental supplier with the same price. Therefore I lost my rental, and my holidays were destroyed, Thank you Discover Cars Thank You Galdieri Rent.

Pros: L auto non idonea alla categoria suv

Pros: Quite efficient in processing

Cons: None

Cons: People work very slowly, and don´t take into consideration the client. There is no support and the staff isnt thoughtfull towards someone paying for the service. Overall, terrible experience specially for the price payed

Pros: Convenient to drop of the car.

Cons: Picking up the car took a long time due to short staff and long queue. I was given different car to what I have chosen in the first place!

Pros: Nice people

Cons: They wanted us to get another insurance.

Pros: Less of a queue than other companies.

Cons: Tried to sell us top-up insurance cover and breakdown despite having paid for full cover via the website.

Pros: Nothing at all

Cons: 1) Took a very long wait to get the car 2) While we were in the queue several customers who had collected their car came back to complain that there was something wrong with their cars. This was not a good sign. 3) Once we got the car, it was dirty inside and out 4) Air-conditioning did not work properly it was blowing out warm air 5) Most importantly and most annoyingly the car electrics would cut out and we would have to wait 10 minutes to try ignition again , was worried each time we used car

Pros: They were helpful and friendly.

Cons: Car was in poor condition. Warning lights constantly on, all sorts of alarms beeping all the time. Was always concerned the car was going to die on me.

Pros: Very good - better than some majors

Cons: N/A

Pros: Fast and efficient

Cons: N/a

Pros: Fast return, good service.

Cons: Slow on receiving the car and we found a cigarette butt in the car after receiving.

Pros: Agents were very helpful at pick up and drop off

Cons: There is no queueing system at the Galdieri desk and people spend too much time when they do formalities. Seemed a bit chaotic.

Pros: Check in for me was relatively painless as there was not many people waiting when I landed. However there was only 1 person on the desk and a line did start up behind me.

Pros: Service was ok but slow.

Cons: Very slow and clumsy. Didn’t like the hard sell on additional insurance. It would have been twice the price of the car hire and 10 times what I had already paid

Pros: They didn’t provide any declined credit card I used with them 2 months prior just because I didn’t want to buy their expensive insurance package

Cons: Nothing, wasted money, a lot of time and nerves seriously advice anyone against using them

Pros: Everything was perfect, they were friendly and quick.

Cons: They could write the requirements for returning the car on the door of the pickup office, so I would not have to make a phone call.

Pros: Please give my deposit of 100 eu back

Pros: agency within the airport.

Cons: car return - almost impossible to find the place! took us almost 30 minutes to find the exact road, that was not marked properly. We made a reservation for one car, and got another car.

Pros: Agents were very nice and the check in and check out was efficient.

Cons: The exterior of the car was quite dirty when we picked it up.

Pros: One of the best rental experiences I’ve had! Everyone was friendly, no wait ever, information all very clear. Will definitely use them again at the next opportunity.

Pros: They tried to accommodate us .

Cons: It was very slow to pick up the car we waited and hour in line .

Pros: Personale molto gentile e disponibile, macchina in ottime condizioni e pulita, ho già prenotato due volte con loro nell’ultimo mese e mezzo, riprenoterò sicuramente.

Cons: The car rental return opened at 8 am which is late for morning flights

Pros: Fast, efficient, no fuss

Pros: Good value - low cost

Cons: Check for scratches and photograph, was told no scratches brand new, but a lot. Also fuel policy is full to full, it was 5/8th full, I returned it 6/8ths full and was questioned, again fortunately I took a photograph so was OK.

Pros: Price

Cons: Lack of upgrade option

Pros: Car was fine Agent dealing with return was good, and easy to deal with

Cons: Being told that Brexit made life difficult for English people. Hard sell of ridiculously expensive full insurance 50% mark-up for being over 59 minutes late collecting car, and for agent trying not to tell us about it General attitude of agent when picking up car

Pros: Szybkie oddanie samochodu.

Pros: Efficient, very good communication. Honest.

Cons: The pricing ended up be much higher than the original booking made with Discover Cars. Because of the original insurance coverage included with the Discover car booking, we opted for a more thorough insurance coverage directly with GaldieriRent and lower deductible.

Pros: Good cars

Cons: Long time to settle things

Pros: Very good provider

Cons: Previous renters were smoking in the car and the car, though clean, reeked of an old cigarette smoke

Pros: Rental agents very polite and kind , they gave maximum assistance during some disruption at the pick up.

Cons: we had some trouble for pick up as there were some disruption to to weather, nothing to do with the car rental.

Cons: 1. they almost wanted us to use their insurrance and conditions. 2. they were not flexible for car rental selection. 3. they did not respond when we requested to postpone time of drop off.

Pros: The staff is very helpful

Cons: nothing

Cons: La venta casi obligada de un seguro ya contratado con Discover.car. La tardanza para recoger el coche.

Pros: We had some damage to the car and they dealt with it pretty straightforwardly. We had waived the coverage so not relying on their insurance but our credit card coverage. Hope it works out fine.

Cons: They said the protection I bought from Discover cars didnt take, and wanted me to put another 100 Euro to have their protection, or else I'd pay outrageous amounts for every scratch (500Eu), flat tire, etc.

Pros: Galdieri Rent refused my card. So, please get backup my money.

Cons: Galdieri Rent refused my card. So, please get backup my money.

Pros: The employees are very gentle and prepared, also the car was very good, new and very good on petrol, and when I called the worker to check the car at the parking he came straight away. Very efficient. For my trip was better pick up the car on terminal c. Very good in matching price/quality.

Cons: To pick up the car the process is a little bit too long,30minutes. No spot left to drop off the car. Also Galdieri is in the car building but there is not sign outside. If you go directly in the parking there is a bar code to scan that tells you where they are located.

Pros: Good car and fair price.

Cons: N/a

Pros: Overall, perfect service. Careful service and customer care.

Cons: The only reservation is that the car I got was worse than I expected. From the beginning I wanted the smallest one possible, but of a good quality and brand - but I was offered an SUV... It was nice, because it was better, but when I refused - I had to take the one they had, which was quite weak - not my choice.

Pros: The colour

Cons: The car was changed to a larger one as the original was too small. It had done 34,000 miles so was a bit tatty.

Pros: Everithing was clear and well explained.

Cons: They tried to blame me for pre-existing scratches and damages not reported in their check in report. Fortunately, I had carefully photographed the entire car at the pickup.

Pros: Good value Will recommend

Pros: Efficient, had a problem with car issues. Staff quickly supplied anot car.

Cons: Issue with first car should have been should have been noticed prior to releasing the car.

Pros: Friendly helpfull staff

Cons: The description about how to find the pick location desk was not clear.

Pros: The service at GoldieriRent at Catania Airport is worth 5 stars, thank you Giuglio!

Cons: L'auto aveva dei graffi nella carrozzeria.
