Pros: We picked up the car at Catania Airport – the rental office was easy to find, and the staff were friendly and professional. The car we received was new, clean, and very fuel-efficient – even after driving 1,000 km, it used very little fuel. Returning the car was hassle-free. I definitely recommend this car rental company

Being in Rental Company it is turned out that such a car is not offered by GaldieriRent. They told me that i have chosen segment not car make. (WTF) They gave me Chinese car - wise product EMC wave 3. Car with totally no power engine (In mountains i had to drive on the 1st gear), and small trunk (our luggage barely fit to the car trunk).

Cons: Goldierent took 144 euro from me for extra collation damage although they shouldn't, they said that if I won't pay then I'll have to return the car a day before. I've tried to contact discovercars for help but there was no one to talk to and no one helped me. I won't book through discovercars again! They destroyed my trip and made my vacation so bad.

Cons: 1. We reserved a Fiat X500 and got a DS3 a brandnew car but in my opinion not the same class as the Fiat especially Boot size. 2. Catania car rental return finding station difficult as Galdieri signs are not prominent enough.

Cons: Lots of damage not reported in the car. Upon dropping off they claimed they didn’t have these recorded so I had to show proof. Luckily I took photos and I didn’t have to pay for these existing damages. Given the large size of these damages it was crazy how they hadn’t recorded them and likely waiting to charge an unsuspecting customer. Pick up took 30 mins to get car while being served.

Pros: We rented a car in Sicily for 6 days and had a great experience! Everything went smoothly, the car was in perfect condition, and there were no issues at all. A big thank you to Francesco, who was super helpful and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Cons: Due to lack of staff, no one assisted me when picking up the car. I didn't know how to release the handbrake, I had a lot of difficulty for about 15 minutes. I had to read the information on Google. Also, no one told me that the car was LPG and petrol. We only found out when we delivered it because the same person we handed the keys to at the reception accompanied me to the car park to check that everything in the car was OK, and asked me if I had put the LPG on... I got really angry!

Also car was not clean properly, there was no water for the windscreen, and as the car was diesel add blue was supposed to be full but after 3 days I had to go and top up the addblue. Receipt was taken and spoken when returned the car about the refund . They said that they might not be able to refund the money.

Pros: The employees are very gentle and prepared, also the car was very good, new and very good on petrol, and when I called the worker to check the car at the parking he came straight away. Very efficient. For my trip was better pick up the car on terminal c. Very good in matching price/quality.

During our stay someone drove into the car while it was parked. We obtained all documents from the other party who admitted fault. Informed the car hire company who said we had got everything they need. But on returning the car we still had to pay over €850 for the damage even though it wasn’t our fault.

The guy at the GaldieriRent was pushing to cancel the extra insurance I purchased via DiscoverCars and wanted me to pay "special offer for me 350 Euro extra for the insurance" he was saying that the insurance purchased via DiscoverCars was a scam and I would never get any help. He was supporting himself with some policy, which he refused to give to me, He said in case anything happens I would have to pay large amount of money.GaldieriRent never gave me policy in English only in Italian

I am glad the car is now returned without any issues whatsoever, waiting for my deposit back and will definetely never use GaldieriRent again. I don't think they are serious, the guy did sound more like a scammer at GaldieriRent, he was saying the same about DiscoverCars that you are scammers. NEVER AGAIN.
