U-Save at Catania Fontanarossa Airport

Pros: Fast service. The technical condition of the car was very good, it was almost new. The deposit was returned in 30 min after closing rental contract.

Cons: There were some scratches on the car that were not marked in the papers. They were added without any problem after we asked. The car was dirty. The agent proposed cleaning service, but it would take time - at least 1 hour, so we took it dirty and return it dirty.

Cons: The vehicle was only used to drive to and from Taormina and the airport. The oil maintenance light came on and I informed the agent who said the car was still drivable, but I own the same vehicle and I was not comfortable driving the vehicle. This really ruined our vacation

Cons: I wasn’t able to pick up the car because their system couldn’t accept any of my credit cards — and one of them is from UBS, which I’ve used to rent cars all over the world without issues. Due to this problem, I had to rent a car from AVIS instead, and of course, the card worked perfectly. I honestly don’t understand how Discovery Cars still lists U-Save in your database, considering the large number of negative reviews about them.

Cons: il fatto che l'auto prenotata non c'era più per causa ritardo volo aereo e ho dovuto prenderne un'altra a prezzo più che raddoppiato, inoltre l'anticipo versato all'atto della conferma auto + assicurazione rischi totali per ammontare di circa 200 euro non mi è stato rimborsato e tramite sito è impossibile ricevere risposte.

Pros: Overall price performance. It was a good car for good price.

Cons: Servicing. Car was dirty from outside and not not particularly clean on inside. Lets see how it goes with the reserved amount. If their policy is just to go with the flow and not earn on damage compensations, then have to say that it was a fairly good deal, considering the drawbacks.

Pros: I booked and paid for a "Premium SUV Hybrid" they gave me a Honda ZR-V which is not a premium SUV (Description was Lexus NX350 hybrid or equivalent) , however it was hybrid. I paid for a Premium vehicle and got shafted, U-Save claims this was a premium vehicle in their system. Total BS. I expect a refund for the difference

I was then told I have pay a total of 58euro of services charges of fuel not being right up to top and car not cleaned enough. Also u save were looking for faults on vehicle to want to charge. I'm glad I took video footage of vehicle before entering car. Really disappointed

Pros: Non mi pronuncio visto quanto sotto descritto

Cons: Non mi é piaciuto che l'assicurazione sottoscritta all'atto della prenotazione online con discovercars non sia stata ritenuta valida da U-save. Abbiamo dovuto sottoscriverne un'altra senza avere la possibilità di annullare con rimborso quella fatta online. Alla fine della fiera abbiamo pagato un costo finale assurdo, una vera truffa...si consiglia di mai sottoscrivere assicurazioni online e di farlo solo al momento del ritiro della macchina.

Cons: I got the car dirty. Initially they told me I have to wash the car before returning. After I saw the car and how dirty it was, I ask them again if they are sure I need to wash it… and they told me I haven’t understand well…. But they wanted to charge me 20€ to clean it before I took. Not clean car, that the main concern.

Pros: We went for a cheap little run- around but got a Nissan Juke. Very nice car, efficient service. The desk is just a short walk from the airport.

Cons: 0 information shared upon receiving the car. they just asked for the credit card and ID and in silence processed the whole thing. Then asked for 2 signatures, handed me the key and pointed towards the car. I was a bit shocked by the low level of interaction, but as i am experienced in renting cars at many places didnt have any question.

Pros: U-Save in Catania is a very new car rental agency. Their fleet of vehicules was very recent and all white models. U-Save is where I found the cheapest prices for my trip, this is why I chose it. So far, no funny business has happened and I have returned the car 3 days ago. I got my deposit refunded as well. It was easy to return the car even before the opening hours. You should always take pictures before and after taking the car and a video of dropping the keys in returnal box for ur protection

Cons: U-Save isn't on Google Maps, it is near Car Motion and Target Rent. Their cars are at the very back of the car park. Upon renting the car, I was told by the agent that their car was clean, so I should bring it back clean, but the car will always get dirty because of the ashes of Etna. Prepare a car wash stop.

Pros: I liked how there was no line when we showed up and a lot of other rental places had long lines

Cons: Just a note to other that they dont take discover cards only visa or mastercard and cant use apple pay. It would be best to have them warn you about how crazy driving is in Catania. I knew a bit going in, but it is an experience for sure.

Cons: The fact that they want money from me instead od insurance

Pros: They provided me with a considerably cheaper deal and explained how the full cover you provide is a scam.
