Pros: The car we received had numerous visible dents and scratches, which were noticeable despite poor lighting upon arrival. These damages were not recorded in the rental company's system.
Cons: I returned a vehicle to SIXT’s Crete branch and faced unprofessional treatment. The attendant was rude, falsely accused me of tampering with documents, and pressured me to sign off on a vehicle with an unlogged scratch I didn’t cause. I’m now being unfairly charged against my deposit. My video shows the vehicle was already heavily damaged, suggesting the scratch was pre-existing. With third-party insurance, it appears SIXT is exploiting this for profit.

Pros: Easy to find, staff friendliness.
Cons: We were picking up the car around 22:00, so there were no more employees at the car pick up place anymore. At the reception the employee had the car damage pre-filled. But at the pick up after the inspection we found not marked car damage. Have I been not attentive and just trusted them (what I would like to have when going on holiday), I would have been charged for the car damage I did not do. It is not clear to me whether they new about the car damage already or not, but it was very obvious.

Pros: Nice car. clean, comfortable. didn't stink.
Cons: The agent was spectacularly pushy about the extra fuel charge, which I get. That's their job to get us to pay for the "you don't have to put fuel in it, just pay us upfront and we'll do it for you." But the agent outright lied - said the cost of fuel outside the airport was just the same as they would charge. In reality it's about half the cost outside. So I got scammed again. My bad. I should know better. Still wouldn't recommend this place because of the lies.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
