EasyAuto at Crete Airport Heraklion

Pros: Quick, simple, easy to use and no added costs. Didn’t try to sell additional insurance

Pros: We got a terrible car, instead of getting Peugeot 208 we got a bigger car, very old from 2018. We wanted to change the car and we had to drive from Heraklion to Chania.

Cons: Good service

Pros: The agent in Chania was the kindest and most helpful and efficient person I’ve dealt with in virtually any context.

Cons: There were some confusing communications.

Pros: Super experience, car was perfect and service too. I recommend

Pros: Agents were very kind and helpful, the lady at the dropoff in Chania was very kind and friendly. The car was clean and in great conditions.

Cons: everything was ok

Pros: Helpful staff

Cons: I wish they would recognise gap insurance purchased by the customer so we don't have to pay the extra insurance.

Pros: This was a simple process and the car was reliable

Cons: The drop off process seemed a bit odd, simply leaving in the parking lot with the keys in it, bit we did as instructed

Pros: Customer service. The process went quickly. Returning the car was easy.

Cons: When we came out of the airport we were supposed to meet at kiosk number 27, but there was no one there. Luckily we didn't have to wait long for the agent to come.

Pros: Fast service, reasonable good condition car.

Cons: Car needs some maintenance (brakes squeak) and could be newer for a rental (received it with 92k)

Pros: Perfect. It was personal engaged and on time

Cons: Nothing

Pros: È andato tutto bene, non ci sono stati problemi

Pros: A representative was waiting for us in front of the departures, with a name on the paper. The procedure was quick.

Cons: 2/3 backstop lights were not working - I only realized this driving another car behind it. The plastic components inside were falling apart. There was a rush to drive away quickly because it was shared on the crossroads, not parked in any place (everything was busy)

Cons: They were very rude.

Pros: Fast, efficient and I got exactly the car I was expecting (I.e. automatic)

Pros: The check in agent was very quick and friendly.

Cons: Unfortunately we realized the door locks were not working after the fact which made it more difficult having to bring everything with us on day trips.

Pros: Met immediately on exiting arrivals hall and short walk (2 mins) to car

Cons: All good, no Easycar office at airport for drop off but instructions clear and everything worked well

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Came very late, car to be verified in the night with no light

Cons: Servise was great, just car itself is not strong enough for Cretan roads

Pros: It was excellent. Good car with otomatic gear box.

Cons: /

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: nothing

Pros: The person hwo handed over the guy. Very nice

Cons: Everything was great ! No dislikes

Pros: They waited for us at the airport and everything was done in 5 minutes.

Cons: None.

Pros: Very easy to pick up and drop the car!

Cons: Maybe it would have been nice to receive an email saying the car was ok and everything was good on your side because we just dropped the car and met no one

Pros: All the above.

Cons: Very helpful staff.

Pros: nothting.

Cons: They were not prompt.

Pros: Very little

Cons: Not providing what was agreed

Pros: They where absolutely grate, very communicative, helped us when needed, Even waited fir us with a sign at the airport

Cons: Car had 1/4 tank. So I filled it up but barely used half the tank because of the rain. Better to provide with a full tank. Also I returned to a different airport. Good to provide written explanation of where to leave the car or a map. (The gentleman who checked it out wrote it down, but I might not have been sure because the lot did not list the agency name.) Actual drop off was fast and easy, including the courtesy ride to the terminal.

Pros: They were waiting for me in the terminal and the car was parked very close by.

Cons: The parking lot where I was instructed to return the car was very crowded, but eventually I was able to find a spot.

Pros: Everything was easy and efficient. The car ran very well and was easy to drive.

Cons: It was expensive but that was partly my own fault for dropping the car off at a different airport to the pick up.

Pros: Very easy from start to finish

Pros: I was barely off the plane when the EasyAuto agent called me for my meet and greet. Very easy to find him and handover was thorough but quick.

Cons: Same to same fuel is annoying, would prefer full to full but that's an insignificant point on my experience this trip

Cons: I would not recommend your company because there is no agent available to accept the returned car and annul the credit card. The warranty outstanding still blocks partially my credit card.

Pros: One of the best drop offs ever - right in front of departures with no walking in the surprising heavy rain shower!

Cons: All good!

Pros: Easy pick up and drop off, friendly agents

Pros: Very friendly handover

Cons: Way of car dropping could be improved, the presence of a person to verify and release the car could be really appreciated. This will be better than leaving the car in a public parking without knowing if the procedure has been done correctly.

Pros: Fully available for the customer

Pros: Reprisentive was very profesional (George?) we used a big car - transporter, not always availble at crete but they had it.

Cons: The car was clean but had a lot of noise during the ride. windows are shaking.

Pros: efficiency of agents in solving problems.

Cons: Car brakes maintenance not perfomed

Pros: Easy and fast.

Cons: it would be nice if they had a lighted, dedicated area where you get the keys, provide details, etc.

Pros: It was a fast and easy transaction! Pleasant and helpful agent!!

Pros: Excellent service by the representative who met us at the airport. Very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Car was quite old without amenities and the car's suspension and condition felt like it needed servicing. I booked a Peugeot and got a lesser car, I think it was a Nissan or Kia or something.

Pros: It was cheap, the car was quiet good and, overall, it was well maintained.

Cons: 1. It is not clear what to do in case any problem. There was a telephone number but it is not clear if it is a 24/7 available.

Pros: The gentleman who met us at the airport phoned immediately as we landed to let us know he was there. He was incredibly welcoming to our family and extended the vehicle hire without any issue. On returning the vehicle my deposit was returned by the time I arrived home to the uk. There where no hidden fees or extras. Just pay, drive and return with the same fuel as on collection. The car was clean, new and everything worked well.

Cons: If I had to be really fussy it would be that with 5 people in the car it was slightly underpowered up some of the very steep hills in the south of Crete. But you could argue I chose the vehicle so that’s on me.

Pros: Easy collection

Cons: The car had many dents and scuffs, so lots of marking notes prior to prove we didn't cause it. The speedo didn't work and the air con only worked on its highest setting

Pros: We were met at the airport, just as the reservation indicated. I kind of had to look for the EasyAuto sign where other car rental agencies had surnames on signs that would have made it easier to locate him. Adonis was awesome though in getting our paperwork all signed off and delivered us to our car. Thanks Adonis.

Cons: Nothing! I can honestly say I am quite happy with how the whole transaction with EasyAuto went, especially after getting off a transAtlantic flight and a connection into Heraklion. The ease at which the whole process was completed was appreciated.

Pros: Please see earlier comments

Cons: Too little gasoline in the car when we started..

Pros: Great customer service very friendly and helpful

Cons: Was not met at airport as described in booking confirmation but one call tracked down the agent who came fairly quickly to meet me.

Pros: Very professional and quick.

Cons: Nothing to complain about

Pros: Nice people, easy going

Cons: Almost empty fuel

Pros: Easy collection of the car.

Cons: We have ordered an automatic car, but received the manual one. They only said that we get bigger car for the same money. But we would liked to have a smaller automatic one. But as we needed a car, we did not started the heavy dispute and took the car they proposed.

Pros: We initially got different car from what we booked (manual instead of automatic) and we needed to call the manager to clarify the situation. Handling of the issue was excellent, we got almost new car in great condition next day and the staff was very friendly. Also the rental conditions were explained very clearly.

Cons: We got different car from what we booked (manual instead of automatic), and needed to drive back to airport next day to change it.

Pros: Very convenient and everything was explained

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The representative of easy auto was waiting for me at the airport with a sign, he (manolis) was veey helpfull and explained everything about the car.

Pros: Quick pick up/drop off

Cons: Age of car

Cons: Agent not present at checkout. Need to leave car in car park so even if no damage to the car unsure of potential situation where damage might be added with me not present

Pros: > speedy car return

Cons: > Informal customer service with poor level of English > Aged car (2016) with stained (sea salt water stains) car seats > Weak engine - wouldn't accelerate on hills

Cons: Fraudulent behaviour! I booked an automatic long time ahead. When arrived, they surprised me with not having a single automatic. By them not notifying ahead about not having automatic cars, I had no chance to book another car at another dealership at good a pre-booking rate.

Pros: They were polite and did not tried to rob me anyhow :)

Cons: -

Cons: We´ve handed over the car by an strange guy, we´ve ordered Peugeot 208, but finally we´ve got naked Skoda Fabia. Is was lucky to have a seats and steering wheel :)). Skoda was not in best condition...dirty in interior and lot of damages on the body. Company has required not only caution 700€, but also required to write down credit card no.! We´ve ordered child booster for my daughter, but for 60€ rent fee, we got some discount shit stuff, where was impossible to seat. :-((((

Pros: no unpleasant surprises, competitive rates

Cons: the place where we picked up the car and made the payment, signature and handing over of the keys was not ideal (in the street in front of the airport, there was some traffic)

Pros: Friendly rep

Cons: As above - condition of the car at collection.

Pros: Friendliness and professionalism of the agent. The condition of the car.

Cons: The only concern I have is the textile seats having salty stains. I can imagine it is not easy to remove after each rent so not bothered at all.

Pros: Car as in the description, politeness and hospitality of the agents.

Cons: Nothing to mention, everything was good

Pros: Pick up and Drop off was quick and efficient. All done at the airport. Paperwork was done quickly and was the least time we've ever spent before we took off.

Pros: Staff was very polite

Pros: Met at airport, easy pick-up, easy drop off.

Pros: Ease of use

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Easy pick up - rep was at the airport with the car and paperwork was quick and efficient.

Cons: A blind drop off, so they were not able to check the car on return as I had to leave in airport carpark with keys in a drop box.

Cons: You provided no assistance to us while driving in the south of the Crete. I would not use you again.

Pros: Guy met us outside the airport with our name on a board, took us across the rd, showed us the car, completed the paper work (15 mins). Told us where to drop the car off which was in a car park across the rd from the airport, told where to deposit the keys. All really easy and straightforward.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Excellent cost effective, very good car condition

Cons: Dropping off was a bit uncomfortable

Pros: It was simple at the airport, the car was as described, and there was, in all no hassle.

Cons: It was a bit weird that the gas was only 1/4 full. Not a big deal but it’s nice to start a journey with a full tank

Pros: Available on call. Very friendly. Efficient service.

Pros: Meet the agent at the airport

Cons: The return process was not so clear.

Pros: Met at exit to arrivals, and car only a couple of hundred metres away. The car provided was exactly the type shown and not a so-called 'equivalent'

Cons: Guy holding our name sign didn't position himself in the best place to be seen. The car was fine but had seen better days

Pros: Agent was polite and explained things very clearly. The agent took us straight to the car which was parked on the roadside allowing a quick departure. The transaction was completed in the vehicle so there was no queuing at a hire desk.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: The car rental experience was not up to standards. We were given a different car that did not hold the 3 suitcases advertised (but told it was still D class, which I didn't think was true...it was smaller). It was almost empty (1/8 of a tank and ended up leaving extra fuel as it's impossible to leave it exactly the same) and the maintenance light was on from the start. We had to leave the car in long term parking and the key in an unsecured cabinet. We were very worried about the car return.

Pros: Very good service, very nice. Good car condition.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: easy to use and reliable. met at airport and easy instructions to drop car back off

Pros: I needed to change the reservation a few days before and it was as simple as sending an email. The rep who met me at the airport was super friendly.

Cons: no problems,

Pros: Good service.

Cons: Somewhat pricey

Pros: pretty much everything

Cons: nothing

Pros: Waiting at arrivals

Cons: Nothing
