King's Car Rental at Crete Airport Heraklion

Pros: This company trying to Extort money from you for every little scratch on the car. When I returned the car they inspected me in a way I've never encountered before. The car was in exactly the same condition as when I received it. And yet they tried to find reasons to charge me for 2 cm scratches. Luckily for me I took some pictures when I received the car..

Pros: Quick pick-up, and free shuttle from & to the airport.

Cons: Their actual name is "AutoDask Rentals" (no wonder I couldn't find them) They seem a bit unprofessional, like a new company. They do not really keep record of their vehicle damages, so you really need to make sure to capture (make many photos!) every little damage of the car on pickup (we did not), as they do not inspect the car on pick-up, only on drop-off. The car's engine was not in the best condition (check engine light lit up during the trip, rental said they can't fix the issue)

Pros: Nada! El coche apenas tenía motor y en las cuestas se venía abajo.

Cons: El coche no tenía motor para subir las cuestas y si tenía el aire acondicionado puesto, había que quitarlo, PARA PODER SUBIRLAS.

Cons: Agent demands that the car is returned in original like-new state (car washed and vacuumed in the inside) or threatens the 120 euro cleaning fee. This is nowhere in the contract. The contract states the cleaning fee is only charged if the car is returned "dirty beyond normal and reasonable use" (including stains, odors, etc...) - words straight from the contract. Of course, a car is going to have signs of usage after 1 week of rental. The agent didn't care. This is unprofessional and illegal.

Pros: drop off was very efficient

Cons: They have not give me back my $700 yet. Please ask them to do it!!!

Cons: Although I brought a visa credit card with me, when we were trying to collect the car the agent for some reason couldn't take the deposit. I was then told it was a known issue for British people (I haven't been informed about it in advance). I was forced to purchase an expensive insurance so they could release the car. Even though I already purchased the insurance online. Overall it cost me an additional 148 euros on the day. The car was old and had problems with gear box and fuel gauge.

Pros: Instead of Kings Rent a Car I have been contacted by an employee of Minoas Rent a Car. When I asked who they are and where is representative of Kings Rent a Car they told me that they cooperate with Kings RAC. It is a little bit strange that they share my private data without my permission.

Cons: Pick up service at the airport.

Pros: Efficient and friendly

Cons: The delay of release of the deposit

Pros: Simple and fast development and great car. They picked us up at the airport and drove us to the office and same development on return

Cons: Nothing

Pros: efficiency and quickness of the agents

Pros: I had a difficult experience with the car rental company. I received it from the street near the fence, and returned it to the same place, and no one waited for me. Something strange and provocative

Pros: friendly service very straight forward

Cons: NA

Pros: Very responsive and explaining all in details

Cons: The pick up is dont outside of the premises but it wasnt an issue

Cons: There was a problem with the car, that they knew about, and they forgot to tell me until I came back to advise them.

Cons: Difficult enough to find the rental desk It is required credit card to be able to ren the ar. If you do not have one, you could rent the car but with different charge (bigger cost) and definitely there was no information about that

Pros: Clean car, in very good condition.

Cons: Τhey(MINOAS CAR RENTAL)charged me 450 euros for some small scratches that might have been there, due to my own naivety I didn't check the vehicle properly before taking it over, but even if there weren't any, it's something that can happen to a car when it's moving, and indeed on bad roads like this one in Crete. I am sure that they will charge them to others who will not notice them before receiving the vehicle. Fortunately, I had paid the insurance and they will refund me the money.

Pros: As I have explained in my previous email, we got scammed and we still have not received our deposit money back.

Cons: As I have explained in my previous email, we got scammed and we still have not received our deposit money back.

Pros: New cars

Cons: Someone from "Minoa's" will show up, not "King's". They will not let you leave until you receive an hour long speech about how to take care of their car. The only problem is that they will bring you a smaller car than the one that they promised you. When you return the car, be prepared to be scammed. First they will charge you 50 Euro for not cleaning the car, despite this charge not being anywhere in the documentation. Then, they will try and charge you for damage even though there was none

Pros: The renters were on perfect time both at arrival and departure. They are professional and friendly and delivered a good car for a very competitive price, I would use it again.

Pros: Evelina was very kind and available to solve any issue.

Cons: Too much time for picking up the car and some problems with all our credit cards. In the end we find together a solution and everything went well, but it’s costs us 1 hour.

Pros: Fluent English and nice personal. Clean and new car

Pros: Good car for fair price

Cons: PIckup took too long (one person trying to service too many customers) Original car given had issue with A/C

Pros: Friendly approach, new, better car than was ordered

Cons: ...unfortunately on the spot I was asked to return the car washed and cleaned...

Pros: Best value car rental service in Crete

Cons: There was no office, so initially it didn’t feel very official.

Pros: The most beutyfull eyes of evelina i ever saw.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Car was horrible condition! I had to wash the car.

Pros: -

Cons: The fined me 300 euros for a small scratch on the bottom of the car

Pros: Great service and accommodation (especially when I made a scheduling error and needed the car one additional day)!

Cons: Only (very minor) challenge was finding them outside the airport. They don't have a counter or desk, so they provide detailed instructions on where to meet outside. After a long international flight and no phone (Heraklion doesn't have mobile phone desks inside), I had to ask a stranger if they would call the person who was meeting us. Not an issue, but did make it interesting.

Pros: nice people to deal with, very helpful when found!!!

Cons: did not meet where instructed took about an hour and 3 phone calls to find them. paid extra for sat-nav. but it didn't work
