Sterling Rentals at Crete Airport Heraklion

Pros: Very friendly and helpful. Resolved one issue very quickly. Didn't charge for puncture

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly service

Pros: Polite and friendly crew

Cons: A vehicle that was given was fine overall, drove well, it just had some dents, nicks and scratches on its body and the a/c belt was making a squealing noise pretty much constantly while engaged, creating a minor annoyance for one’s ears. But overall the experience of renting with sterling rent-a-car was alright.

Pros: Friendly service

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They were rude and unhelpful

Pros: Easy pick up

Cons: Car passenger window electric window stopped working. Repeated WhatsApp to them without reply.

Pros: The guy claimed that since I didn't have the physical card with me, I couldn't get the rental. So I booked with Hertz instead... the biggest company in the world accepted it, yet you guys wouldn't... and he simply refused to listen! It didn't matter what we tried to say.

Pros: Customer service

Cons: You have to pay the car rental fee in cash while the deposit can be on card.

Cons: I was requested if I could pay the rest of the rental value in cash, which I of course declined. Car had 140000 Km.

Pros: Friendly and great face to face service.

Cons: Unacceptable/unsafe child seat.

Cons: The company did not have available cars of the class we booked, and tried suggested a different car in poor condition and lower class saying "this is your car". Only after refusing to accept the car and asking to cancel, the agent offered a newer car but smaller than the class booked saying "I think you will manage" despit having lots of luggage. The company is very small and therefore limited in car options in the high season so this situation is a risk renting from them.

Pros: The car was in good condition and they had the variety I wanted on the size of the car.

Cons: The drop off location is a bit difficult due to narrow streets

Pros: Very nice and new car

Cons: Nothing

Pros: very kind and helpful. fast and professional

Pros: My first impression was ok with the communication with the head office, but at the airport the vompany is a discrase

Cons: After intake I had to pay extra because of airplane delay. Although I mentionef this weeks before I still had to extra. Also they want to charge me extra at the desk because I am 65 years. ???? I had no incidents for 40 years and now i am discrimated because of my age. But the employee changed my birth date as a special service 😇

Pros: Easy process.

Cons: Car could do with some maintenance. Handbrake did not hold on any nontrivial slope, a tire had a slow leak, check engine light was on and I was instructed to simply ignore it.

Pros: Very helpful and supportive staff

Cons: Difficult to find

Pros: Quite cheap

Cons: Not easy to find; they didin't accept payment by card, only cash... not very honest showing the condition of the car and they find a suspicious damage

Pros: The Sterling representative was very helpful and patient with the form completion. He also took time to clarify the particular commands of the car, a model type I haven't driven before. Upon returning the car the process was quick and easy. They even reserved an airport cart for the luggage we had! Thank you Sterling! I will definitely use their service in the future.

Pros: Courteous and professional

Pros: Super friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with

Pros: Kindness, efficacity, hospitality

Pros: It was our third time with Sterling and they are excellent: friendly, helpful, car condition always perfect. Very satisfied.

Pros: Sophia was understanding and friendly.

Cons: some resistance from the first agent to swap cars

Pros: It was a bit difficult to find the rental boot but the agent call us and pick us from the airport door which was very good

Cons: The car does not have a CarPlay possibility which made our trip a bit problematic Nothing was mentioned regarding this in the web site

Pros: good final discount

Cons: well, nice personal

Pros: Verder niet nodig gehad. Maar was verder prima

Pros: Speedy service

Cons: N/A

Pros: Friendly agent and an almost new car <8000 registered.

Cons: Only one very very minor issue...pickup was late at night and the infotainment system was set to a language I did not understand (my issue I suppose). It would be helpful if settings were tailored to the customer or at least an explanation on site of how to change. On the journey warnings were displayed that caused me some consternation.

Pros: Servis was very good

Cons: We didn't get the car that we booked Aygo Toyota

Pros: Very friendly and easy rental

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Representative

Cons: Good communication

Pros: Friendly and helpful.

Cons: Wrong info about how to find Sterling Cars.

Pros: Good communication, even though the car have some scars it drove very well and was economical. The AC was lovely and cold.

Cons: A renter should have a schedule of any defects already noted on the car, not rely on the customer to pick every single item out especially when collecting in the dark. Because you know you may get charged if you miss something.

Pros: Very nice and polite people, easy and fast picking up and dropping off the car.

Pros: Overall, friendly and otherwise efficient service. Would have preferred the fuel tank to be full on collection. Only 1/4 of a tank. Difficult to gauge when returning vehicle.

Cons: We arrived on a late flight (11pm) and did not exit the baggage hall until midnight. The Sterling car rep was difficult to locate and it would have been easier to spot someone with our name on a card, rather than holding the small logo sign that she had. I had to ask other rental company reps to help me locate her. Also, when we reached the rental desk we were asked for cash to clear the final payment balance, which we had to find a cash point for. Not convenient at that time of night.

Pros: They were extremely nice and helpful. Very efficient and good value for money.

Pros: Heel vriendelijk personeel

Cons: Al was oke

Pros: Cheap and suitable budget car. Friendly staff.

Cons: Cash only payment for the rental made for a long pick-up experience as this was not expressed in the Discover Cars booking voucher. It also led to unnecessary fees as we had to get cash out the machine.

Pros: Quick and easy pick up and drop off.

Cons: I booked a full car insurance at discovercars for a fixed price. The officer at sterling cars wanted to provide/sell an other full car insureance, which was about 50 Euros over the cost of discovercars. Maybe he tried to find someone stupid.

Pros: Friendly staff, car was perfect for the price paid

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Arrived to the kiosk, they looked at the front and back of my credit card and said they couldn't accept it because it didn't have the word "credit" on it (says Business Platinum Awards). They said, however, that they wouldn't even need to use the credit card if I paid double the remaining fee (€130) instead, that way excess would be €0. And I could pay that with my credit card that they wouldn't accept otherwise. What a scam!!! I found another company that accepted the card a few kiosks down.

Pros: Excellent! I arrived late and the agent was very accommodative and helpful. I highly recommend Sterling Rentals.

Cons: I do not have any negatives to say about Sterling Rentals.

Pros: They are very helpful, nothing is problem.

Cons: Everything was OK.

Pros: Very friendly, very helpful and went out of their way to assist

Cons: Didn’t know I needed to pay cash at collection and didn’t have it with me

Pros: Good staff kind and trustworthy

Pros: Excellent service. Friendly staff. Got our adblue refunded without problem.

Cons: Nothing. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Pros: We were graciously welcomed, offered an upgrade, and given a brand new vehicle. Would highly recommend!

Pros: Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers, spraken uitstekend Engels.

Cons: Management failed and then lied about it.

Cons: Sterling Cars agent at the AirPort seemed not to be interested in solving my problem and renting a car finally.

Pros: Amazing people, great experience.

Cons: Nothing, perfect.

Pros: Good service and helpful person who attend me

Cons: N/A

Cons: Extra charge fee after 22:00. Nowhere was written and people are not responsible for flight delays.

Pros: Happy agent

Cons: They made us pay for extra insurance to get the car at 2 AM. Very little petrol when we got the car.

Pros: Good english speaking people

Cons: Since I did not read before booking, that I have to have a credit card, then I got to pay extra 63€ for insurance, because i do not own a credit card. So i got a chance to lose booking fee i payd before or pay extra... Needed the car, so paid extra...
