Cons: There was no CarPlay in the BMW X2 luxury car. I had to put my mobile phone down to use the maps. The phone sometimes fell and it was dangerous because it distracted me from driving. Several times I missed the right turn and had to turn around or look for a detour.

Cons: The pick up at heraklion was very poor. Rude staff, car was very scratched which wasn't on the sheet, they threatened me with a 50 euro fine for a late pick up (I was on time). Rude and unfriendly. They didn't show me the car and it was hard to find in the dark.

Pros: The easy way we got the car. A nice car in the right group. When we brought back the car, the hostess was Quick en very friendly. With no trouble at all, was everything very much to our satisfaction. We were first in line at the desk so others had to wait. If we would be last then it would have taken a long time

Pros: Service not fulfilled by Alamo.

Cons: At the height of a global pandemic Alamo had no regard for social distancing or hygiene. Passing a filthy pen to customers to copy Personal details from a printed form. I dare not imagine how little care they take cleaning the inside of their rental cars between customers. Luckily, due to my error of transacting online I couldnt provide a creditcard for the 2nd deposit (Alamo not accepting my wife’s card or adjusting the booking) so I was spared the risk ofcatching the virus from a filthy car.

Cons: we waited in line for almost 1 hour when picking up the car. At 10pm! Totally unacceptable. Agency must no peak arrival hours and stake measures accordingly.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1000.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Gibraltar, EU countries.

Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.

Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece - Crete Island.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 29 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
