Pros: the guy who was giving the car, was fast helpful, didn't try to trick me into full insurances as many rentals do

Cons: despite several scratches on the body (probably 10-20+), they were pushing hard to convince me into 1 more (luckily I had car condition on pictures) and when this failed - they pushed to pay for cleaning

Pros: Car in a good condition overall. Many scratches that, however, do not affect the use of the car in any way. Quick response to the request of a damage cost report after scratch found, and therefore the reimbursement of damage cost was approved just 3 days after returning the car.

Cons: I ordered a medium size crossover like Fiat 500x in gasoline but got a large SUV Hyundai Tucson in Diesel. It result in: more time needed to find a parking spot, more difficult to move the car in narrow roads and possibly was the cause of a minor scratch that was found at car return (the scratch I had to pay for).

The car we received had multiple old scratches and I dropped it off, they pointed a few visible old scratches (rusty), which were not marked in the sheet. Luckily, I had a video and I was able to prove that the scratches were there when they gave me the car, despite not being marked on their sheet.

Since they are asking for credit card, it’s enough to pre-authorize the deposit, not to charge it. One small minus would be that their location isn't in the Funchal airport, and you need to take Magic Islands shuttle to get there when you pick up your car, and then back to the airport after your drop off.
