Pros: Everything about the service provided while on holiday

Cons: Issues with holding deposit accidentally being put through as transaction on credit card

Pros: Hassle free experience! My flight was delayed by a day and I had no problem with getting the car once I have finally arrived. Drop-off was easy too. Great shuttle service from and to the airport.

Pros: The car seemed reasonably new and performed just fine. The pickup from the airport was fine within a good timeframe.

Cons: The car wasn't mechanically as expected, brakes need replacing which actually prevented me from using the vehicle for the majority of the stay. The security deposit has still not been returned to me despite the car being bought back in the expected condition.

Pros: No hassle, quick pick and drop service. Provide ford Puma... powerful, well equiped and automatic which makes it easier to drive in Madeira inclinations.

Cons: The deposit of €1500 can take take 3 weeks to be refunded????? Should be two or three days with the systems we have nowadays and after the car is inspected with no issues. Discover cars need to get them to change.

Cons: Calling the number provided at airport, no one answered, luckily a shuttle arrived at the described spot fairly quickly. Car was damaged, and not correctly reported prior to my rental making it seem i did the damage, however after showing before pictures, all was ok with friendly staff

Cons: A short document giving an overview of a few of the controls in the glovebox would be handy. Things like : how to set the headlamps to Auto (for tunnels). How to use the electric handbrake on steep mountain inclines. How to turn off lane assist before going into tunnels. Little details which are relevant to Maderian driving. Verbal basics WERE given but easy to forget after a flight ! :0) But we soon learnt everything. Overall the car was great !

Cons: Representatives were all smoking, no one individual made sure we knew what was going on. Car had a lot of minor scratches and dents leading to anxiety that we had logged them all. Car was not ready at scheduled time and was not full of fuel. Deposit not yet returned

Pros: In general very good - but the information when arriving could be a bit better. To inform that the agents would have blue pike shirts and it will take some minutes to wait at the parking plot. As customer you feel a bit unsure what is happening at the parking plot before the agent is arriving

Cons: The car seat cost us £140 which is a ridiculous amount of money to rent a car seat for baby.

Pros: Very friendly people on arrival and departure of the hire car. I left my sunglasses in the car and they happily returned the car after leaving the airport to give me back the glasses.

Cons: Finding the area/agent on arrival was not clear and took over one hour to have a car provided to us.

Cons: There was no meet and greet, the signage for the rental company was non existent and not as directed on email, €1500 unexpected deposit to pay on collection, vehicle was late to collect due to ‘it’s getting washed’, tank wasn’t full on collection but they were happy for me to leave it the same on delivery

Pros: Great service from start to end, although there was some uncertainty about the pick up location, having to phone on exiting from arrivals at the airport. However, once it was established where to go, it was a straightforward process thereafter.

Cons: There were features of the car, a hybrid, that I wasn't sure of. On pick up, I was told that the owner's manual was provided. However, checking the glove box and other likely locations, no manual could be found

Pros: Very straightforward and no fuss hire process. Friendly reps and honest and thorough examination of car before hire and prompt return of deposit afterwards. Features of car clearly explained and paperwork kept to a minimum. No hard sell on any extras at all. Very easy drop off process.

Cons: Car wasn’t ready on time and when it was delivered there wasn’t enough time to get family from airport cafe, loaded up into car and through the exit barriers before ticket expired but reps helpful in instructing what to do.

Pros: We called when we reached the airport and a really friendly guy cave in about 10 minutes to drop off our car. The car was as advertised, very clean with really tidy bodywork and the process was very quick and efficient. He did not try to push any extra insurance etc. We had read some negative reviews about this company, but we found them to be quite considerably cheaper than others, very friendly and very organised.

Pros: The car was perfect, very good condition and very reliable. We were also very appreciative of the upgrade provided to the Abarth Fiat 500. We thoroughly enjoyed driving it

Cons: Our only issue was that the €1200 deposit was taken from our bank account rather than a pre-authorisation as is usually the case. This resulted in an additional non-GBP transaction fee being incurred. We were also assured that the deposit would be returned to us on the day of return, we are still waiting for the return of the €1200

Cons: Found it quite difficult to find the car on arrival, Magic Island don’t have a desk. On return, quite chaotic as lots of transactions happening in the car park and windy conditions. Also had to chase the security deposit.

Cons: No rental desk and not great instructions. There was nobody there with a sign, could have said to just wait if no one there. They take full deposit rather than just a hold on credit card like other car companies. When I challenged them on this they said it was a hold and to discuss with bank - they clearly lied. They rushed the pre car check in the dark and have then found other damage since that I will now have to be liable for. 4 days later and they have not sent details of costs or deposit.

Do not change floors as you should be beside the coffee shop. the clipboard may look small but it was facing me when I walked out so worked well for me. the tour of the car was fine. the gentleman that showed us around was well presented, had good chat and was very understandable for on his English. the return of the car was very simple. same place as pick up

Cons: my only downside was if you have any problems with the car pick up in the car park, payments declined, double checking car standards, getting comfortable with the new car before setting off etc. you will miss out on the free 15mins ticket for the barrier, although it's only €1.30 ish to pay at the machine so not much drama but may need to include this is in the brief to new clients picking up the car to ensure a smooth transaction

Cons: The HOLDING DEPOSIT WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT ( this was supposed to have ONLY been held) On return our experience was TERRIBLE & TRAUMATIC….. I told your representative that the DEPOSIT had been TAKEN ( on our credit card statement) I needed Confirmation that it would be returned….. i filmed our conversation! Your representative took offence & became hostile… he threatened me with calling the police. I tried to EXPLAIN my situation… he would not listen & continued with his HOSTILE BEHAVIOUR.
