Pros: Clean car, quick drop off at airport.
Cons: On day of pickup there was only one agent to pick up, drop off clients at the airport and handle all of the paperwork.

Cons: Poor service. I hired a 2 door Fiat 500, but i got a 4 door Fiat Panda with no options' at all. It was a Fred Flintstone car. We waited for 30 minutes because "maybe" a Fiat 500 would be returded. We asked for a free upgrade but alle we could get was a free downgrade.
Cons: I payed for a AC car and the one they rented me have the ventilation broken, working only in maximum speed, impossible to use in all trips! Only needed it at last 2 days because it was the first warm days, so don’t hade the time to reclame. Also the car was 5 years old and 80000kms…. First time such bad service! Never again!!!
Cons: The could have been more friendlier and the car breaks and tyres can be a better condition.
Pros: Read the comment above and read the reviews. Took over 3 hours from landing before driving off with the car. Had to pay extra to reactivate my contact as my flight was late and I missed my time slot and had to pay extra insurance as they one provided on discovery was not theirs .

Pros: From the airport at Funchal after a brief phone call with the helpful manager at Surprice the shuttle bus arrived and then the car delivery was completed at their office. The car was not the intended make but the replacement was fine. The staff were all polite and the pickup and drop off were completed efficiently.
Cons: Were not there at the appointed time and we had to call several times. Got answering machine only in Portuguese

Cons: Car that was required wasn’t there, no money off for the inconvenience. Was given a diesel car as an upgrade, shuttle service was late and no reps in the airport or any signs. Had to ask Jet 2 reps for location.
Cons: Absolutely everything ,the customers service, the way they are talking to you just rubbish, at the office are 2 guys absolutely annoying, treat you with superiority disgusting ,the car condition average wasn't what i ask for..
Cons: No one waiting for us at the airport. We had to call for the driver. Conditions and prices were changed upon pick up. No flexibility to find suitable and cost effective solutions

Cons: everything we got the car 40 min late car no fuel we had to tank immediately we had to fight for not paying an extra day as the request change requested by phone immediately after web were not done properly. staff is odious. I would call it Sur prise and a bad one. this is a scam.

Cons: Not enough indications of where to find the shuttle service bus. We were only able to find it with the help of Google maps reviews of other people. Impossible to call them using the provided phone number...

Pros: Upon picking up the car, I had a problem with my CC. The employee at the desc was very helpful in trying to find a solution to the problem, which he did.
Cons: - Not complying to the ‘full to full fuel policy’. - Upon bringing back the car, the employee discovered an alleges scratch on the front of the car. As I had an insurance I had nothing to fear, but I could not see any scratch and expressed my disappointment. - the employee threatened me not to provide a shuttle to the airport if I keep on expressing my disappointment, whereas the shuttle service is a service provided by the company and is clearly stated on the rental voucher.

Pros: They were very efficient and comprehensive with the entire process of rental.
Cons: That when I had to contact urgently the local company, I had to always call the central and asked to be transfered. In this process, I lost quite some precious time, and almost missed my flight back home.
Pros: They gave me a direct phone number. Theu carry the luggage to my car.
Cons: The contact number in the contract went directly to voicemail, so I had to call another branch. The rent-a-car employee recommended a car inferior than the one I rented, telling me that it was better for the roads in Madeira (it wasn't, so I had to change the car the next day). When I went to change the car, I waited almost 20 minutes for the employee to arrive (the branch was closed). Rent-a-car is outside (and far) from the airport.
Pros: The car was very new and clean. Very competitive price too.
Cons: The drop off process. Office is a short trip from the airport.
Pros: The Car has a problem and the agents know but rent the same way!
