But who knows how long that will take and if they ever return you the money.

Not all car damages and scratches were marked and employee just advised us to take pictures as a proof (why can't you just msrk everything?). We also later found additional damage on the bottom of the car that were not marked. Luckily, we were not charged for that.

Cons: after my experience with some other agents in some other locations, it doesn't make me that comfortable that I don't get to see what I'm supposed to be signing before I do and then I don't receive the emails with what I've signed but, with this being my third time with them, I've mainly got used to it. One of the rare places that aren't trying desperately to increase their profits by forcing you into buying extras and hoping that you've scratched the car on return.

Cons: They didn’t have the vehicle requested at time of arrival and told Me I had to upgrade for an additional $20 euro a day, charged me for 5 days when I only booked for 4 days. Told me that I should use their insurance instead of discover cars insurance as it was better. My flight was delayed and I called them from the airport and told them that it was delayed about 3 hrs. There office was closed at 10pm by the time we arrived and wouldn’t let us come pick up vehicle so I had to taxi.

Cons: I had to pay a lot more than I expected and the car quality was not good: it definitely had engine compression loss, it barely managed to go uphill; there was a problem with the driver window lifter - the window didn't close, at some point I had to drive half of the day with fully open window and it was a miracle I could close it in the end, never touched it afterwards.

Pros: Très mauvaise expérience avec Way2Azores Rent, en effet refus de la part du commerçant d'utiliser ma carte bancaire mastercard (gold) car il y est mentionné "débit" pour la formule avec 2000€ de franchise (véhicule type compact). Je lui explique que je procède de la sorte à chaque fois que je loue un véhicule chez un concurrent (drive on holiday), il persiste et me propose sa formule bcp plus chère mais avec moins de franchise ou sinon je peux me rendre chez le conçurent qui se trouve à côté.

Cons: Donc voiture loué chez drive on holiday qui en avait une en stock car il y avait énormément de touristes, bref drive holiday ont était remarquables et efficaces.

Pessoas rudes, até com uma certa discriminação pelas mulheres ao volante (e não foi só comigo mas também com outra cliente, que eu presenciei), sem vontade e ajudar na resolução dos problemas, para depois cobrarem mais produto.

Employers are not independent at all and they need to ask the manager every little detail. This makes the process last very long. You should calculate up to one hour when you pick up the car.

Cons: The first car they provided had close to bald tires which were totally unsafe. We demanded a car with better tires and they quickly provided and had us on our way. They did not object because they knew better.

Charged me an additional 10 euro a day because the car that I was given had a convertible roof, despite being the same make and model of the car I was supposed to get. when I said that I should not be charged an additional fee as the rental agreement stated "fiat 500 or similar" they did not care.

À 22h20 nous entrons dans le bureau, on nous explique que si nous avons une carte de CRÉDIT nous payons le montant indiqué initialement or nous avons une carte de DÉBIT (comme 90% des gens). Nous devons donc payer environ 350€ de plus pour payer en carte de débit si nous voulons la voiture. Nous refusons donc nous nous retrouvons à 23h sans voiture à 2km de l’aéroport. De plus, personnel pas sympathique et faux.

Pros: The 2 guys who is running the business on Madeira are very freindly, helpfull and fast. Car was very clean. We have to wait quite a lot for picking up (30 min).

Pros: I would recommend listening to the car rental agents when they suggest upgrading your car on arrival. The driving in Madeira and the hills are challenging and not for the faint hearted. On the recommendation of the agent, we begrudgingly accepted to pay more for an automatic but once we started driving, we immediately couldn’t thank the agent more! It would probably have been cheaper to book an automatic car from the beginning. Swift deposit return once the car had been dropped back.

Overall, I learned that the good price has a reason and altogether is not worth it.

Cons: When we arrived there, the car had not been vacuumed or washed yet, and the tires were completely flat. They rushed to clean and vacuum the car, and it didn't turn out to be anything special. The worst part was that they were going to deliver the car to us with completely flat tires. We had to remind them to fill the tires.

Cons: The discs and pads were extremely worn to the point the brake pistons were rubbing on the discs with no pad left half way through the week resulting in lots of screeching!

Cons: Although the car was delivered with the same fuel level i was charged with 6€ of fuel and the worst part they charged 15€ of refueling fee which is absurd since the refueling was done in a gaz station that i was next to the delivery point. Also the billing presented after the payment was not coherent with what was said by them during the rental.

Cons: Everything about the process of renting the car was slow and complicated. We had to wait nearly an hour for the shuttle airport even tho we called them. We also had to wait there for the car to be washed. Later we needed to change our drop off time and when we came back in person to the dealership to find a solution the employee was visibly angry, swearing and told us to come back another day to solve the issue, losing us even more time. Talked with another nicer employee the next day.

Cons: I paid for the basic insurance and then bought a top up insurance online (which i have done many times in the past). The agents seemed very unhappy with this, said the basic insurance was useless, but were unable to explain what it did or did not cover, and i should pay them for more insurance (I saw them do the same to another customer who had bought their insurance via the website). As a result i was pressurised into buying insurance from them. The bodywork of the car was also in bad condition

Pros: The flexibility was fine, we have not informed about later flight and the provider came in some 20 minutes. However the information about the flight was in system so there would be nice, that someone would standardly expect us in time of arrival at the airport.

We arrived three hours after the book and our car was cancelled and gave it to another person, dont giving back our money from the book although it was not our fault. Cons: I ordered Citroen C3. They did not have it so they offered me a Mercedes but I had to pay additional 100€. After two hours it occurred the car was broken (problem with tires and air conditioning). I lost half a day to return the Mercedes and get Opel Astra. It was a good car. But they refused to give me a discount or any other compensation for my lost time and problems with a broken car from their fault. Do not listen the agent when he says about tough roads. They are usual as for islands.

Cons: We paid for upgraded insurance and to upgrade the car. This car rental was 4x as expensive for a WAY worse car than we rented on the mainland. When we got a flat tire, Way2Madeira charged us 270 euros to come and fix it.... This was a maximum 50 euro job. We were BLOWN AWAY by how expensive it was for us to basically shuttle ourselves from the airport to the hotel and back. We paid over 600 euros to drive 35 kms total.
