Cons: Long waiting time at the airport, no clear logo on pick up van, no information inside the airport where to go, guy with personal issue when returnining car, he found the scratch on the car and we said, you took a photo of this car when we were collecting the car, he started screaming and said it wasn’t him who took the photo. He didn’t calm down and repeated this 3 more times. I told him to relax, life is too short for those reactions. Man, it wasn’t that cen personal, you is plural.

We paid for coverage with zero deposit and they held up to everything exactly as agreed when booked via DiscoverCars. Our car was Mini Convertible and we were very happy with it. It was in flawless condition and I would say it's great choice for Madeira's narrow, twisty and steep roads and beautiful sceneries. Textile roof kept us dry even in most violent rains and storms.

There were some roads where that car simply could not go up - not even in the first gear!! And please don't justify it by saying I can't drive manual - I have 40 years of experience driving manual cars on 3 continents. That car would have been fine in Holland or Belgium but not on Madeira!

Pros: Quick pickup and drop-off I ordered a Peugeot 2008 I got a Jeep Renegade with faulty sensors. They said they would have a replacement in two days.Then they tried to fob me off telling me that sensors are just an extra feature. I said the car I booked had camera and sensors this car was faulty. I was responsible for damage but the car did not have a key feature working. They changed the Jeep to a Mitsubishi ASX which had both camera and working sensors. So they were good in that respect.

Cons: The Jeep was tinny with unresponsive steering compared to the Mitsubishi. They did respond and change the vehicle but I wish they had initially not tried to get out of it. I would use them again.

The fact that the first vehicle failed us (engine light and limp mode while driving up and down the challenging streets and mountains of Medeira) was very concerning. I am thankful that when I reported the problem someone was sent out with a replacement no questions asked.

Cons: They had missed the time we were coming to drop off the car and get dropped off at the airport. But they managed to drop off and take us anyway.

Pros: The transfer from the airport was very comfortable. Also, the employees were professional and spoke perfect English, what made the communication easy.

Cons: The car had a warning because of tire pressure which we had to take care of. It happened directly after picking up the car (like 5 minutes of driving). It was not much of an issue, but it was a bit annoying.

Pros: Great service specially from Rodney he really help us. The car was great, really easy to pick up and to drop off.

Pros: Great manners, attitude, no nitpicking or trying to sell extra stuff. Extremely helpful, probably one of easiest/nicest rentals I've ever had. Efficient document handling and everything else.

Cons: They only sent the shuttle when we actually left the airport building - could have done that in advance as been given several pings over whatsapp. We had to wait approx 15 min to be collected from airport.

Cons: It's off the airport so you need to call for a shuttle to come pick us up. It's an 8 minute drive to the car rental offices and back. However, the shuttle came very promptly and the driver was wonderful.
