Pros: The agent was friendly and very helpful. He offered us a choice between two vehicles in the category we had booked, so that we could have the one that best fit our three large suitcases. No stress about cleaning the car (which inevitably gets dirty on the roads and in the weather conditions in Madeira), as the agency takes care of this at no extra cost when you return the vehicle. The deposit was refunded within a minute once the contract was closed at the agency.

The time spent doing paperwork work was very quick, the instructions were straightforward forward. They didn't try to sell us extras that other car companies have in the past, and we really appreciated that! Our flight home was at 4am, and they met us at that time to drop off the car with a smile! They lovely professional people to deal with.

Driving Madeira offered to swap the car out the very next morning, but we chose not to since the car was running fine besides the lights. The customer service was excellent, but I would have preferred to not have lights pop up while I'm driving difficult roads in a foreign country. No big deal, it happens.

The back of the outside mirror had a minor scratch on it they initially wanted 479 euros for damage repair and settled for 150 euros which was in itself far too high. would not return us to the airport until we paid this amount although there was a damage waiver deposit when we rented the car . The conditions of the cars were not 100%. Twice cars (original and replacement) with slow puncture on one of the tires. The tire pressure was not adjusted before delivery. Had to fill up directly. The cars would need a little more attention before delivery to the customers. But that might also be reflected in the price.
