Cons: car was not setup correctly, security software updates alert popping up, software not up to date, various features disabled or not working or faulty

Cons: So, this was my first time renting a car. The overall impression was lack of information. The company did not have any car specific to what I orders, but the size was almost the same. Also I paid for insurance so if something happened, they would cover it, so I thought. When I got to pick up the car, I was told that the insurance I have bought didn’t cover the total deductible. I could choose to pay 100 more € or have 1500 € payment as a depositum in case something happend. I felt ripped off.

Pros: Quick and easy pickup and drop off

Cons: High deposit - was returned within 2 days

Cons: Trying to force insurance. Rotten smell of carpets inside the car. Window spray liquid tank damaged. No flexibility for deposits (only credit card or additional expensive insurance). The agent almost forces the customer to give only 10/10 notes for the satisfaction pool.

Cons: Told it was undamaged but found some dents and chips. Brakes were metal on metal from pick up.

Pros: The best car hire experience ever, start to finish, not to mention value.

Pros: They were very easy to work with and had great personal customer service. We had flights in the middle of the night both coming and going, and they accommodated us.

Cons: When we landed at the airport and came out from the exit there was nobody waiting for us and we did not know what we had to do, we did not know if someone was coming to collect us. I had to call the number provided. That was quite poor actually and is reflected in my scores (for instance agents were very efficient in the dropping off; much less in the pickibg up

Pros: Very easy pick up and drop off, no issues with getting the deposit back, and friendly and professional staff. Good car too

Cons: Paying 73 euros to rent a booster seat that costs £15 to buy from a shop...

Pros: Decent car although it wasn’t the car I paid for.

Cons: Returning the car was aweful, they scammed me with the tank. Probably because we were standing on a hill the tank indicator said it wasn’t full but we just topped it right before handing it over. And then charging me half a tank is totaly insane.

Pros: The person that took us to the airport SUPER early was great! Give him a raise!

Cons: Some technical issues on desk devices to sign the contract. The car didn’t have the GPS as requested, but I got a reduction of the price, so it was ok.

Cons: Likely through Discover Cars but it would have been helpful to know that Drive Rental didn’t have a booth at the airport. They picked us up but had we known we would have just been dropped off at the car rental.

Pros: Good price, no pressure to add on additional services, amount billed matched amount quoted.

Pros: Efficient, friendly, didn’t try to upsell add-ons but were clear with responsibilities. Checking the car back in was seamless, they didn’t look for faults that weren’t there like I have experienced in the past with other companies. Shuttle to/from the airport was very easy and regular.

Pros: We waited for the pick up more than one hour. They have 3 options of payments. One as the same as the deal on the agent or the rest is paid more to over the deposit and insurance.

Cons: Me, 3 children and a friend were left on the island without a car. We came from Ukraine. Due to the war, we have restrictions on blocking funds on the card. So we offered to leave a deposit in cash plus leave our documents and we bought full insurance. They refused to give us a car and did not return the deposit. We rent cars in many countries. This is the first time I have had such problems. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

Pros: I signed a contract that said an amount of 2800 euros will be BLOCKED in my account, but the money was taken from my account. I returned the car in perfect condition, and they did not return my money still. My bank has officially notified me that 2800 euros have been withdrawn from my account from Drive on holidays, whereas Drive on Holidays says that they did not take my money. I will wait until end of the week to see if they will return my money. If not, I will start legal action.

Pros: Great customer service interactions

Cons: Incredibly slow process. Over 1hr to get the car, unacceptable.
