Cons: Trying to sell me an insurance for stuff I was already insured for though DiscoverCars: "Oh but if you take an insurance through Hertz (agent for Thrifty) you will get your money quicker in case of damage". The extra unnecessary cost? Would have been up to 300 euros extra for 10 days rent. Unfortunately I did not write down the employee's name for otherwise I would have gladly put it here.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.

Many highways in Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of 1.85 EUR per day up to a maximum of 18.50 EUR per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
