Cons: The service was fine but they cleaned the car before I picked it up of course and used air freshener that made me sick (nauseous and headache)

Very charming staff: Returning the car was quick, with no complaints at all... It is important to note that when we were driven to the airport, we remembered that we had forgotten a bag in the returned car... The kind staff member took us back to the garage and drove us back again to the airport! Really great service! Thanks!

Cons: I found that the car was not so clean, it had a lot of KMS and a lot of damage....

Pros: The pickup drop off was super fast! They even returned the deposit right there and then after checking the car. The car was in mint condition and only had 37k milage on it. 10/10 service!

Pros: They were very helpful when we got a flat tire. They arranged a place nearby to get the tire replaced without disrupting our vacation time. They also waived the fee for crossing the border since we just needed to cross for a short time to lessen our travel time by an hour.

Cons: The staff member was fine on pick up but on return another staff member was rude , this company is normally so good and we use them often as we travel to Portugal regularly and have no problem.The car was clean as we washed it before return but he was unhappy with the inside as he said there were a few hairs and the carpets were dusty, it was very hot weather and your feet get dusty and that can’t be helped, other than that it was very clean as we always make sure each time.

Cons: I bet they bought good reviews, 2nd time i rent with them, the cars are old, with a lot of "hits" on the car, at 130km/h the care shakes, i have a kid of 2 years and i had to wait more than 30 min for the shuttle bus, the workers are NOT smeily, not really friendly and it's the farest car rental i had in porto... I HIGHLY don't recommend this agency.

Pros: Very competitive rental car pricing for my 2 week trip around Portugal and Spain. Cross border fee was not mentioned in listing (as such assumed it to be zero) but was introduced in person. Had no choice at that point.

Cons: It was relatively hard to find the building- the entrance is around the side of an abandoned-looking building.

Pros: OPORent are extremely reliable and friendly. They are also easily available when needed. Their shuttle to the airport is timely and efficient. Their prices are great.

Pros: First time renting , after reading reviews about all the car rental companies at Porto airport decided to try opo rentals , got a Skoda kamiq almost new , great price , didn’t try to sell me crap , very straightforward. 10 min picking up the car , 5 minutes dropping off , deposit straight back in my account. Cons: The car provided to us had scratches everywhere – doors, bumpers. Despite their attempt to document the car's condition with a tablet, the pictures taken were unclear and it took them forever to complete the process. The ambiguous photographs taken earlier were used to make us financially liable for damages. Depending on the distance and angle of the pictures, that small scratch was visible on some and not visible on others. Despite our efforts to explain that, they proceeded to charge us US$260

Cons: We liked the car but it had some front bumper damage (few hundred dollars worth) that wasn't very appealing.

Cons: the fuel tank was half and had to take it back half it is very difficult to fuel a car until half... so basically you are losing money. They emphasize that the car must be clean on return so in order to avoid extra charges it's better to vacuum the car before you go to the beach with it. The tier pressure was low on all tiers. There was a scratch on the car which was not on the documents of the rental agency when I returned the car, luckily I had a video and on my documents, it was marked.

Pros: My flight ran late and even though it was past my reservation time they allowed me to rent

Cons: Practically everything besides still allowing my reservation even past the time. I asked for the roll pass and they charged for each till we went through once we returned the rental unlike the other companies they charge a flat rate per day for toll pass. Definitely don’t recommend renting here if you are looking to travel to different parts of Portugal due to multiple reasons a few are 1. Very expensive compared to other companies 2. The only have Porto airport location

Cons: Inside cleanliness - window was not clean from inside. Model might be newer. I rented similiar to the shuttle and the model I got was about 110.000 km overdriven and about 6 years older.

Pros: Very simple process, the representative was friendly and easy to deal with, there was no hard sell for extra insurance as has been my experience with most car hire places, he just offered good advice for driving in Portugal. Based on my experience (23-30 June 2023) I would give them a 100% recommendation.

Cons: Antiquated processes, printing the rental agreement, very inefficient and time consuming. Confusing what the costs were, especially the insurance which I already paid for online but was told it wasn't the correct insurance. Was told I had to return the car clean inside and outside. Ridiculous. The car we received was very old, the gears did not shift easily, the mileage was 55K, and the check engine light came on while we were on the highway. Made for a stressful trip.

Cons: I order a large car and they only have small old cars . they wash the car in front of me with water and I couldn't see any marks and when I returned they told me I had a small crack in the back fender and charge me 185.00 euros ,wat a scam .I want to call the police but I had a flight to catch. I order a station wagon and I got a little VW Polo. this company shouldn't be in business.The car also had flat tires very dangerous to drive .Don't recommend this company to anyone is not safe.

Would not recomend OPO rent At All.
